Lakeside Restaurant and Bar

Was looking for a late night dinner and wanted to try something that would either be an amazing surprise or totally awful, this was thankfully an amazing surprise! Who would expect to find such good food next to a lake association, where half the space is an Italian restaurant and half is a sports bar. Tried the French onion soup and Caesar salad - I don't know what they did to that soup but it was the perfect line between sweet and salty and gooey cheese, and the Caesar was coated with exactly the right amount of creamy delicious dressing. Also tried the "Baked Alaskan cod" and that is what prompted me to take a picture. Never had anything like this - light, perfectly cooked cod with a really different flavor profile and well seasoned vegetables. Also, it's billed as Italian but there were a lot of interesting Asian and Caribbean inspired options on the menu. Gotta come back when it's not 10 pm and try out a proper dinner.

We held a lunch party for my sister's 50th birthday here. Everything was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, the staff who worked the event were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend dining here and I will definitely be coming back.

Best service, atmosphere and food ! We rented their private room for a baby shower and my family and friends loved it. The staff was courteous and efficient and so friendly. Sal the manager took care of everything from the start. We will definitely be back !

We went for a party in their private room. The service was excellent. They were constantly clearing used plates and bringing out new utensils to use. The food was good and drinks were refilled before they were empty.

Lakeside Restaurant on Lake Dr West in Wayne, especially the dining room is a top favorite of ours. Except when they host private parties in the dining room, which we have done, you can almost always get a table, but they do take reservations just to be safe. White table cloths, elegant dining setup including wine glasses, nice Italian bread without having to ask, O&V on the table, and its BYO. Sal who is the maitre d', except when David the owner is the house, and Rene always provide great service. Very decent menu of Italian entrees, American dishes, pub style grub, and always some great specials. If you are looking for a quiet and elegant experience for dinner which will not break the bank – Lakeside is the place.

I can comfortably say I have never in my life received such exceptional service!! They're so caring, attentive, the food is great and to top it off the prices are very reasonable. This is the second time visiting with my family and i wish i could express in better words how happy I am with the food and staff at this place. We will come back

This place is the best. Good for kids, or adults. Place to unwind. Find a friendly conversation. Food is pretty good. Bartenders are great. Just a good neighborhood spot vibe. Fun place.

The food here is delicious and there is a good variety of choices. Our waiter was very good and pleasant. Hopefully next time we visit the carpeting will have been replaced. It has seen better days and there are numerous trip hazards.

Class of 86 reunion tonight and the food was delicious. We love the guys in DRB. We try to make as many shows as we can.

Wonderful dinner at the Lakeside on a dreary Memorial Day Saturday night. It would be nice if the local lakeside community would support this gem more enthusiastically then they seem to. We traveled from an hour away a second time now after recently discovering it. Worth the trip! Courteous and efficient service, lovely setting, delicious food. Tonight the chef delivered his creations personally to our table and you could see the justifiable pride he took in presenting his artfully prepared food. We look forward to our next visit!

A delightful surprise! The atmosphere was a nice balance of neighborhood fun pub on one side with a separate dining area for a more intimate setting on the other.
The service was "just enough attention," effective, friendly & nothing stuffy. Just what I like!

I went here for New Years Eve. It was fantastic. The atmosphere was festive, warm and beautiful. The 4 course dinner was amazing,with may great options. They had an open bar with top shelf liquor. The martinis were excellent. The price was unbelievable and the music had everyone dancing in the New Year. The owners did everything they could to make sure everyone was having a great time. I will definitely go back here next year and bring even more people.

Great atmosphere for family dining. Great menu offering a variety of foods. Food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Service is always top notch. The owners Dave and Trish are warm and welcoming and will always offer a friendly gesture. It sits right on Pacanack Lake, offering a beautiful scenic lake view. Certain nights they have live entertainment and dancing. And, if that is not enough, they offer a private room for special occasions. Our family loves this restaurant!!!
