Best pet supply! Food, toys and help with anything I have ever needed for our dog. Their help with food for my aging dog a couple of years ago gave her extra time with us. Our dog now enjoys Fromm and the variety of tastes they offer. 🐾❤

Place is amazing with great service. The two lady’s that work there are very kind, and overall great vibes in the store.

I needed to pick up some pet supplies. I would much rather support a local business than a big box . They were very friendly and helpful. I found what I was looking for and was on my way in minutes.

They absolutely love their animals and take pride in really caring for them. I own Tripple R Reptiles and coming in there was a real treat! Good prices. Lovely products. The store was very clean. Talking to who I believe to be the owner was absolutely lovely. She talked about how wonderful her mother is with her hamsters and it was really rewarding to get to see such good ethics in the animal world. ♡

I love the in store cats. (Sadie is the best and usually hangs out on the counter waiting for chin scratches.) Pretty sure the owners have like perfect recall or something. They seem to know every customer and their pets by name. They are super friendly!

Best pet store in the area. You will not find a more friendly, knowledgeable, caring and helpful staff. I drive 40 minutes one way to support this local family owned business. Update July-2022 - It's still the best pet store I've been too.

I love going to this store! The people are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We have purchased a few fish from there, and were looking for a specific type. They didn't have any, but she tried to order them for us.
One of the things that really surprised me is how they keep their saleable betta fish. Many pet stores will have them living in a tiny cup, but this pet store had each in their own decently sized filterless bowl with gravel. We bought a juvenile betta fish after our Grandpa betta fish passed away. The betta we purchased was so content in his bowl there, that he was bubble nesting like crazy. I brought him home and crushed floating pellet food slightly so he could fit them in his trap. They took such great care of the tiny guy, that he continued in good health, and he has now grown into a beautiful adult in his private 5 gallon tank.
The ferrets are not for sale, but they are fun to watch when they aren't cuddled up. When I was younger, I had ferrets, and all I can say is that their resident ferrets are so well cared for, and they have a huge area to play in. Ferrets can and do contract and spread Covid, so it's great that the store is keeping them and you safe. Don't take it personally that you can't play with them. It's in the best interest of the ferrets.
Animal World Adventures also has a great selection of supplies for all types of pets, from food for domesticated and wild animals, to pet beds, toys, treats, enrichment items, gear, tank supplies, and even fun mystery grab bags! The store has always been clean and well organized, and if you need something that they don't have, they'll order it for you! Also- great prices on Wisconsin's own- Fromm foods! Shop local and prepare to be wowed by this pet store that's off the beaten track, but well worth it! Parking is never an issue! That's rare these days!
They take Covid recommendations seriously, which makes me feel safer and an even bigger fan of theirs, so bring your mask and keep them, yourselves, and our communities safe, so this business will remain for years to come. From my understanding, this is a family run business and keeping their entire family safe is a big deal. Their Mother is always doing something in the store any time I've gone, and she is an absolute gem. When so few people tend to an entire store, we need to be sure that they are kept healthy so this store remains a superb local option for us.
Bonus: They sell live crickets! Some other local stores sell boxed crickets, but my arachnid doesn't need 2 dozen crickets in one go. This place sells smaller quantities, so you don't need to feel guilty if you have to humanely euthanize (freeze) any excess crickets, or release them into the wild, which could disrupt hyperlocal ecosystems. Releasing any feeders is never a good idea, don't do it. Please only purchase feeders you need, and properly dispose of extras. I'm thankful AWA gives us smaller quantities.
The only potential negative: there's a resident cat. If you're allergic like I am, definitely prepare to mask up or take your medication, as a cat hangs out by the registers and can not be avoided. The cat is normally chilling anyhow.
In summary- Enjoy this local pet store! Great people! Good prices! A great store, with a good selection that's laid out well, not cramped, and clean! If they don't have it, they'll try to help you find it! You can even bring your furry friend in, if they're well behaved. We are lucky to have this store in our neck of the woods. :)

I am very impressed with this pet store. I have a 6-month old yellow lab and they recommended toys that could handle her chew. They even have toys that are guaranteed and have a life time warranty! They participate in the Fromm purchase program and keep the upc on file so you don't have to worry about loosing them. They also have a punch card for every $200.00 spent you get $10.00. Wonderful customer service!

Super friendly and helpful staff! They have a great selection of items for pets. They even keep my sisters dog food in stock especially for her. That's really nice of them! I highly recommend going here for your pet needs

This is by far my favorite pet store!! The owners are actually very caring, and you can tell that they value the pets that they sell as real animals, not just as a way to make money. The owners Mom is often here, and she is such a sweetheart. We always talk about the hermit crabs and have a few laughs. I have to say that usually pet stores keep their Hermit crabs in questionable conditions at best, but you can tell that is not the case here. Their home is clean, and the crabs are well fed and seem happy:)

The ladies are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are always going out of their way to check and see if I have any questions. The selection of animals is awesome and you can tell they have a very humane approach to breeding/selling them as apposed to a corporate run pet store buying from breeding mills.

Every time we go in the owners greet you and are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the products they carry! It is so nice to have this store on our end of town to get our pet supplies and gifts for our families furfriends!

Amazing Staff! Love the ladies who own this place! It is always them who works either together or just one but they are always there! Amazing hours for having such a small staff! Great product selection and prices for being a small pet store. The staff is always so friendly and nice! They go above and beyond to help you and have answers to just about any question you could have! If they do not have something you want they are always quick and willing to order it for you! They special discounts for certain things and often have events held there to support places like the humane society! This place really is the best kind of pet store! It is nice to have ones like these where you know the animals are loved and being taken care of and the products your buying are good quality! They even have their mother there often who I call the Hamster Whisperer! She is the all knowing when it comes to hamsters and personally takes care of and breeds their hamsters( at least i am pretty sure she does or maybe we were just talking about her hamster having babies, idk lol)! She is always nice and a friendly face to see along with the other staff! She really helped me understand my hamster when i first bought one! She makes sure you know everything you need to take care of them and have them thrive! I would have been so lost and searching google without her! They also offer pet sitting for my hamster when i went on vacation which was really nice because there arent many places you can find something like that but rest assured they were there and had no problem watching him and of course I felt beyond confident knowing they were taking care of him! The care was so good for my hamster that she noticed his tiny little feet were cut from running on his metal wheel! She took care of him and gave me awesome advice on felting my wheel so i wouldnt have to worry about that! There just isn't enough words to describe this place! You just don't see this type of hard work and devotion anymore! They really are one of a kind and I am beyond happy they are in my city! You see some negative things said about animal selection but small bussinesses such as this cannot have a ridiculous amount of animals which is a good thing because big chain pet stores that have loads of animals usually get them from sketchy cheap places and don't have the time or resources to actually take care of them. They get stuck in a cage and recieve the most basic of care if that! I have seen this too often in big name pet stores and that is why I love this place! They have animals they can take care of with love! You can tell they are well taken care of and constantly interacted with and come from reputable places! I prefer a smaller quality selection over bad quality and more selection! This place is a great store! There is truly nothing negative about them! They care about what they do and are truly passionate about it and you can tell every time you walk in there! I do not think these ladies ever have a bad day! I hope they stay around for years and years and years to come!

Small pet store with lots of supplies. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. If not in store, they will order/special order supplies. They also have manufacturers rebates as well as their own deals, such as buy "X" amount and get "X" free.

The staff is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a great selection of healthy treats and chews for dogs. This is the best pet supply store in oconomowoc. Love it!

I just love the 2 owners. They recognize you after a couple of visits, and are so helpful with knowing what food would be best for your pets. Helping you carrying things out etc. Also a clean store!
