My husband and I got the cake for our wedding from here and it was DELICIOUS! We got so many compliments from all of our guests. They also offer cake testing which was so much fun at the store- we left with so many bakery items and bread! Yesterday Was My First Time There I Brought Cookies With Sprinkles On It , Strawberry Upside Down Cake And Two Glazed Donuts They Tasted So Good. We got our wedding cake from Calandra's. They were professional and made the process enjoyable from the cake tasting onwards. They made it easy to design our cake. The cake was also delicious- we got chocolate cake with dulce de leche filling, and vanilla cake with raspberry mousse filling. Multiple people told us it was the best chocolate cake they'd ever had!

Calandra’s baked our wedding cake as part of our venue catering (Olde Mill Inn), and man what a treat it was. From the cake-tasting consultation (I still think about that coffee and tray of cakes), to the actual cake planning (steered us away from some pretty bad cake decisions), everything went great. The cake itself was delicious; the bread was moist, and the buttercream was perfectly sweet (not too much, not too little). I’d recommend Calandra’s even just based off of the tasting!

My husband and I got our wedding cake from Calandra's and we were so happy with our decision. From the moment we arrived for our tasting consultation, we were beyond impressed. We sampled over two dozen combinations of cake and filling, which is more than any other bakery offered us during our consultation. Everything was fresh and delicious. We especially liked that you could taste the flavor and it wasn't overly sweet. The people at Calandra's were very helpful and so easy to work with. We chose a simple piping design, with flowers added on by our florist. We had three tiers, with cookies and cream, red velvet, and vanilla cake with fresh strawberry. It should be noted that my husband is not usually a fan of red velvet, but he loved it from Calandra's and insisted we get that filling for one of our tiers. Our cake looked absolutely beautiful on the day of our wedding and even 4 days later, our leftovers still tasted as fresh as they did on our big day. We met with a few other cake vendors that our venue worked with and some of them wanted to charge additional, ridiculous fees just for some simple piping designs. Calandra's did it all and had the best quality cake. We are so glad Calandra's was a part of our special day and we will definitely go back for our one year anniversary cake!

They have been a staple in my family for many years. The Italian bread and rolls can't be beat.
I regularly visted the store in Fairfield for lunch, as I worked closeby.

When our cousin came from Italy Calandras made us a beautiful sheet cake with the Italian and US flags. My cousin couldn't hold back her tears. The cake was fantastic.

We have enjoyed many fun events in Caldwell. Calandra knows how to pick great entertainment. Dinner and a show are always a fun time. We will never forget that day.

Goodness gracious! Incredible deserts, amazing bread, superior service and exquisite ambience! Did I mention they only use four ingredients, never any chemicals or preservatives?

Calandra's has the best cakes, pastries, bread and the list goes on. Their staff are the best. So far I've been to the Newark & Caldwell locations. They do not disappoint. The Caldwell location is pretty big. My husband and I need to go back soon to check out their restaurant.

My husband and I chose Calandra's for our wedding cake and I could not have asked for better! We worked with Aisha who was great. The tasting itself was delicious and I was very impressed with the customer service. We wanted to keep things simple for design but there was a large variety to choose from or you can always ask for what you want. According to our venue, the only cake left was the top for us to keep. Every single slice was taken by a guest. I don't know if you could ask for better!

Loved my galaxy wedding cake and so did my guests. So many people said this was the best cake they ever had. The chocolate with cannoli cream was amazing! The second tier with strawberries was so fresh.
Had a second cake made for family whose birthday fell on my wedding day and it was fantastic as well!

Torn between the large themed cupcakes and the rainbow sprinkle cookies with chocolate in the middle as my favorites. Coming home I am asked did we need all of this? Yes we did including the loaf of bread you haven’t seen yet

Calandras bakery did a phenomenal job with our cake! We had a three tier wedding cake with our three favorite flavors from the cake tasting. The cake tasting platter was awesome and they were patient with us while we decided how to design our cake. We gave them two custom figurines of our dogs and they were more than happy to include them on our cake! If you hire them for your wedding cake needs, then you can trust that you are in talented and capable hands! Thanks again!

Cool bakery/ deli/ pizzeria to visit with family or hang out for a few... my wife and I visited for dessert and coffee which they had a large selection and plenty of seat choices ranging from tables and chairs Rob sofas. They were tasty and we enjoyed ourselves
