Lithos Estiatorio

Had a great dinner here. As for how much I enjoyed the food: Lithos Estiatorio is a place that I will definitely be going back to. I had the trout special with a white bean sauce. The trout was perfectly cooked, and the beans tasted fantastic but did not in any way overpower the trout. I also highly recommend the beet salad. It is a large salad, so it's good for sharing or saving some to take home. They have great hummus too.

We were here for Easter and it was amazing. The first time I was here was in 2019 for a bridal shower and my experience there was also amazing
For Easter I was with my Three children( nine, six, 7 months at the time) , my husband and my parents and siblings. My youngest brother is autistic and our waiter was extremely patient and inclusive with him. He answered any questions that he had no matter how crazy it was and was patient with him choosing his option. The waiter also asked him what he likes to watch on TV as well and made conversation with him. The waiter had a great personality and made us laugh and was very attentive to our table.
The food here was beyond our expectation given the last time we were here the food and atmosphere was also amazing.
We had moussaka, salmon, chicken and pasta dishes. We also had calamari for the appetizers. I had 2 espresso martinis and they were perfect. I am a self proclaimed espresso martini snob and they were seriously perfect.
I currently live in South Jersey originally from North and these are the type of places I miss the most living down here.

Good idea to have a reservation. Staff is super friendly. Ambiance is great. I had the salmon with beans. It was a little dry. My friend had a Moussaka and she liked it and another one had beef and that was juicy and delicious.

A popular Greek restaurant for a reason. The food and atmosphere were terrific. Our server gave us excellent suggestions of what to try. Had the octopus, spread sampler, and squash blossom appetizers. Enjoyed the scallops and the seafood stew for dinner. The seafood was fresh and delicious. For those who imbibe, the Lithos martini is dangerously delicious. Looking forward to going back.

I’m a Greek food fiend! The food their is amazing! I’ve never been disappointed! I don’t like beans and the made a bean dish that hands down one of THE BEST THINGS I EVER EATEN! I still dream about that shrimp and bean special! The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff is incredible!! A must try !!

"Amazing food and outstanding service"

I wish I could have taken pictures of all the main courses my friends and I ordered. They were so different and based on my friends comments, their choices, as well as mine, were beyond this world.

We had appetizers, the main courses and some deserts. The final tab was reasonable based on the quality of both service and food. I strongly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Our table was located outside so that there was proper ventilation. Due to the temperature, meaning extremely cold, they placed some gigantic movable gas heaters, which provided a beautiful warm environment.

Please note Google maps never told me arriving to destination, or the exact entrance , so be aware of it if you are using your GPS.

It’s a hidden gem in Essex County. The ambiance is great, the attention is superb! They serve the food very fast. I’ll be returning many many times more to Lithos. Must try!

Beautiful atmosphere and staff were knowledgeable and attentive.
Food was delish!
Our group had a calamari app and "chips" which were thin pieces of eggplant and zucchini delicately fried with a pinch of salt... addicting!
House wine was very good as well.
Dinners we had the halibut special (photos below), scallops, and prawns.
All were perfect. I will say the prawns were knock your socks off delish!
I couldn't fit dessert so no photos but someone in the group had some sort of a mousse phyllo dessert that they raved about.
I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant, my first time getting lunch from here and it was full of flavor! Good portions that I couldn't even finish in one sitting

I cannot believe I have passed by this place for years and never tried them out. What an amazing dining experience. Everything was exceptional. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere and more importantly the service. I have been to many restaurants all over in my lifetime and I must say Lithos gets it right. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Our Valentine's dinner was perfect thanks to the service we received while dining. The waiter was very knowledgeable and polite. All of the wait support staff helped to make this the perfect night. And the dinner and dessert was delicious.

Very nice restaurant, great ambience and food. I loved my pasta and the family enjoyed a relaxing dinner. The service though can have a personal touch.

Fantastic meal. Great service and ambiance. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the lemon potatoes were my favorite! A MUST dessert other than Baklava is Galaktobourekos. Fantastic custard in Phyllis dough!

Beautiful ambiance... The food was delicious... I had the leg of lamb. It was so tender and juicy. The Salmon and veggies were great too.

The best food I had in a while! Waiters were very hospitable and suggested us wonderful dishes!! Definitely coming back here! I had a seabas ahhhh to die for!
