Kenko Sushi

My heart is so full since they reopened indoor dining! The landscape of the restaurant had changed and think it’s for the better. The landscape gives a more intimate experience - I like how you have your own “cubby” with whom you’re dining with. However, the dining area is smaller than the past. To our luck, we were able to sit upon entering for a late lunch.

The staff (as always) were extremely friendly. I really appreciated their knowledge on which items include gluten - they were very accommodating. If you have a gluten allergy, you can request for GF soy sauce and to have your items plated separately from whom you’re dining with. I don’t have an allergy but need to reduce/almost eliminate my consumption as much as possible due to other health reasons. (Hence why you’ll see mostly everything plated together)

Upon taking the first bite, it brought me back to the same Kenko I have always known (and maybe even better). The freshness and quality of the fish was superb. I was happy to see so much of the menu had been brought back as they had a limited offering during the pandemic / take out.

FYI - their bubble tea is my FAVORITE. I was so excited to see that was gluten free as well!

Lastly, they updated their dessert to a mango shaved ice. Absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be back for more. 😁

A very good local sushi spot. I've been coming here every since they opened in their previous location and the sushi here is the best in the area. I usually get their special rolls at least once a month. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

My new fav sushi place! All the food was fresh and delicious… The ambience is beautiful and the best part was that they gave us complimentary salad to try the new menu and ice cream for desert 💙

Unbelievable sushi in Lincoln Park at surprisingly affordable prices for the quality of sushi they deliver. Have been here 4 times and have never been disappointed with any of the rolls we’ve ordered. Fresh and delicious always. Must try if you want top notch sushi in Northern NJ.

I've been trying out the best sushi places in NJ recently and saw this was noted as one of the best, so you know I had to try it! It is rated the best for a reason! And as such, the wait to get seated is proportional to how great it is. They don't take reservations and the wait for us was 45 minutes to an hour. They take your number down and call you when you're ready so you can go do whatever. That being said, WORTH THE WAIT! Their prices are relatively cheap and extremely affordable. The chirashi was amazing and the sushi was equally as great! All the fish is fresh and the taste of everything was absolutely delicious. They have extremely attentive waiters and provided a few things on the house! They know that customer satisfaction matters and boy is it recognized. Absolutely love this place and would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Took my family here and they loved it as well! 11/10 will be coming again!

I’m really really impressed by kenko. It’s hard to come by a restaurant that has quality food, service, and a great atmosphere. A k2 combo is only $11-12 which I think is a great value for two rolls. Great boba drinks, great food, and I love the online ordering system. Fast, easy, and no hassle. I will be coming here more often. I only suggest to pay attention to their hours as they are different for take out and dine in, and they are closed for 3 days of the week.

Wow what can I say?! This place is absolutely amazing. Love the Japanese infusion rolls never had anything like them. Immaculate clean, beautiful presentations and packaging. This is the second time we ordered takeout the first time we forgot to take pics! This is definitely our new go to place!

Amazing sushi- dare I say the best in NJ? Every time is memorable, delicious, and the service is great! Grandma loved her passion tea with lychee jelly!

Kenkos was my favorite sushi spot pre covid and still is after especially after reopening dine in. The wait for seats can be lengthy but worth it. If you are in the area, check it out. If you visited pre covid, note that the ice cream fish dessert have been replaced with shaved ice these days.

Hands down my favorite sushi spot! My favorite roll is the Rock N Roll because of the crunchy salmon skin, it's out of this world crunchy. Even have gotten take out and drove home and it's still good. I love how you have so many choices to choose. They have combos to save some money. Their bubble teas are good, fav is Ube. Still take out only. Don't mind driving 40m to get sushi from here.

My favorite sushi restaurant in all of jersey. Service and food here are both great! Can get busy but you'll definitely see why after your first visit.

Absolutely some of the best sushi in North Jersey! Also the vibe inside is great! Be sure to leave some post-it note art. They gave us a complimentary roll to try and ice cream, both on the house! We'll be back soon!

This place has amazing sushi. It's become one of our favorite spots for takeout and even occasionally eating in. They have great special rolls with a wide variety.

I lived across the street for 2 years and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Amazing sushi, super friendly staff, and great atmosphere. A+ experience. I've had sushi all over the country and Kenko stands up to the best.

We went here for my husband’s birthday. Everything was amazing and presentation was beautiful. Very reasonable price too. We got the combination platters and ended leaving stuffed! I highly recommend this sushi place!

Believe the hype. This place is awesome. Best sushi around hands down. Great service and prices that can't be beat either. Only problem is that now that people know how great it is it's always crowded! I literally have to get here at 345 on a Friday otherwise I'll be waiting 30 minutes! But even at that, it's worth it.

What great bubble tea and sushi is good. Glad they opened up seating but make sure you order ahead as they are always busy.
