Ethereal Day Spa & Salon

This was my third time, visiting ethereal salon, and spa, and I have had an excellent experience every time. The manager, Pauloa, is very hands-on and chooses excellent staff. My manicure/pedicure tech, Alex, took her time and is very professional. Does not feel like a run of the milk chop shop, which I really appreciate m. Fabulous work!

Today Paula treated me to a fantastic haircut and style. I felt that she did a better job than the picture I showed her to inspire my new look! I am elated following today’s appointment. I have been to this establishment multiple times and have had a wonderful experience each and every time. The spa & salon is very clean and provides high quality service to their clients.

Paola created such a calm welcoming spa environment in the middle of Parsippany you feel like you are on a spa getaway. She is also knowledgeable and talented colorist and stylist. After years of coloring dried out my hair the Alfaparf products she uses actually make my hair feel healthier with every coloring. She's awesome!

I have been going to Ethereal Day Spa & Salon since Paola opened. It’s where I met Marifrances who does my facials, manicures and pedicures.
When entering the salon you know you are somewhere special- the warm welcome, the attention to detail, the cleanliness, the special treats that await you as a client are superb. All of this at very reasonable and competitive prices.
As a former business owner I totally understand the importance of getting it right and being consistent to keep your clients coming back. Ethereal does this and more.
Paola has created an oasis for her clients. Paola’s massages and facials are legendary. If you’re on the fence I suggest you give this outstanding piece of heaven a try. You’ll be happy you did!

I have been coming here for years for all services (hair, nails, facials, and massages). I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees or service. I have had Paolo do my hair and nails. Marifran has done my nails and spa treatments. I've been to Katie as well for a gel manicure and pedicure. It is always a relaxing experience. Paola and company go out of their way to ensure that you as the customer are comfortable and are enjoying your service. I have recommended and brought friends and family to Ethereal.

This is probably the nicest salon and spa I’ve been to. I felt very relaxed and pampered. The whole visit was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. Customer service/ receptionist is outstanding. Paola was great. I went for a single process and haircut. I even got a head massage at the wash station! So serene. I’ll definitely be back to try more services they offer.

My experience at Ethereal was such an enjoyable one. Not only was the entire staff friendly and welcoming, but the atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. My hair dresser, Ingrid, did a fantastic job on my hair. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about all hair types, but she is also professional, kind, and gentle. She gave me wonderful advice for my style’s upkeep as well as other service recommendations. Thank you, Ingrid! I am already looking forward to my next appointment.

I took my sister here for a massage and facial. I had the deep tissue with a facial and my sister had the Fusion massage with a facial. I fell asleep because the massage was that good and there’s a nice area with a fire and waterfall where we could hang out and relax even more with a freshly made cappuccino after our massage.

Went in for a facial, Paula( hope I got the name correct) was too good half of the procedure I was fast asleep and snoring 😜... one of the bestest pedicure I got from Luisa. She was very thorough in cleaning and her massage was the greatest feeling... would highly recommend Luisa If anyone is looking for a relaxing pedicure experience.

Love this spa! I’ve been here in the past but really started coming here more often this year for prenatal massages. To start, I feel very comfortable here with everything covid going on. Second, Gloria has been amazing with my prenatal massages. Highly recommend!

It was another great experience at Ethereal Spa. The staff is always professional and friendly. I adore my hair stylist, Elena. She always take care of me. She pays attention and the hair cut and color is perfect each time.

Love the atmosphere at Ethereal. All of staff is always pleasant and attentive regardless of whether you are their client or not. I have been going to Elena for over 13 years and no one can do a highlight like Elena! Her work is beautiful and she treats her clients like family.

Today was my first visit to Ethereal. I’ve been searching for a 5 star spa since moving to the area years ago. I opted for the Signature Facial with Paola. This was, by far, the best facial I have ever had. Period. My skin is GLOWING! Paola was able to lighten my stubborn sunspots more effectively then my IPL treatments! Now, I’m sure the IPL did it’s job, but this facial took it to another level! I’m planning on purchasing a series to pamper my skin through the winter. I’m really looking forward to trying their body treatments and massages! Don’t walk, RUN to this spa! You can thank me later… ☺

I came to Ethereal today for balayage and Haircut. Elena took care of me. She was amazing and very knowledgeable. She explain me the whole process and didn't rush it. She provide me with tips for my hair. She's very humble, kind, friendly the best thing about her is she communicates.
I highly recommend her!!.

Where to even begin? This place is a treasure in Northern NJ that everyone who loves spa and beauty services needs to discover, if they haven’t already. It offers a beautiful atmosphere and treatments that actually show results you can see Immediately in the mirror and it’s run by a staff that treats every client who walks through the door with warmth and like an old friend.

I have now been there twice and can’t wait to make my next apportionment. For me, the best part hasn’t just been the ambiance (which completely lives up to its name) but the quality of treatments. Their “Signature Facial” is the best facial treatment I have ever gotten anywhere (and I am a skincare products addict so I feel qualified to say this! )

The reason is that unlike other spas I have been to, this service not only incorporates a little bit of everything (including micro-dermabrasion which most spas only feature as a stand-alone treatment that must be booked as part of a series) but it is also truly tailored to the skin concerns of the client.

Case in point - my friend and I each booked this facial and because her concern is anti-aging, her facial included micro-current therapy while mine included LED lighting to conquer texture issues. End result? We both walked out glowing with noticeably improved skin.

And.... I had opted to add on lymphatic facial massage to reduce puffiness/water retention. That also yielded a noticeable result (bye-bye, puffiness) AND - unexpected bonus- the next day my sinuses drained and (as a chronic allergy sufferer) I could breathe more freely than I had in months. Amazing!

This was my first experience coming to Ethereal and it was better then I expected! I had Elena do my hair, who has over 40+ years experience with color correction and hair in general. I went in there a complete mess and came out looking like a beauty queen! I wanted to be very blonde and she made me VERY BLONDE In one shot which is usually more of a process. This was the greatest hair service I ever received! Ethereal Staff was very warm and welcoming and everyone had a great personality. Especially Elena - i HIGHLY recommend Elena and ethereal OVERALL!

O.M.G. This was my 1st experience here @ Ethereal and it won't be my last! The service was top notch from the time I entered the place. Barbara @ the front desk was super nice. The skincare specialist who did my treatments was Marifrances and she was beyond wonderful! She was very accommodating throughout. She even offered me cappuccino afterwards! I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon of pampering!

I came to Ethereal last weekend for a haircut. Gabrielle washed, cut and straightened my hair. She was terrific! She explained everything she was doing, she provided me with tips for my hair and was just a really friendly and kind person. I will definitely be coming back to Ethereal!
