This place is incredible! Homemade Italian goods everything from salads to the famous fresh baked bread. I’ve eaten that at so many bakeries in New Jersey and this one is my absolute favorite.

A true family business that does not rip you off, I got three loaves of bread and a bread bowl for about six dollars! What a steal! Every other place has been totally ripping me off and I had no clue! I literally come here for any and all of my bread needs, if I need something sliced for sandwhices or if I’m doing a dinner party for friends this bread is the absolute best!

Visiting from Chicago and I have to say this was the best Italian sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the chicken milanese which was perfect because I love fried cutlets. It had the perfect balance of flavors with the roasted red peppers and other toppings. It was a big enough portion to satiate my appetite and gave me energy for the rest of the day. I’m sure any of the other sandwiches are also the best in their category. And you can see behind the retail front where they make everything in house. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.

The staff are so nice and make you feel welcome, Everything is super fresh, it’s a huge operation ensuring everyday you get the best fresh bread, ciabatta rolls French baguettes, long rolls round rolls . Great selection of pastas and olive oil, love the panettone, top of the line cold cuts, you don’t have to worry about where to there is plenty parking spaces

Joe at the register was very helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely kind and politely interactive. I've heard great things about the food but had to leave a review already for a really kind human experience

Stopped in for the first time. Got a chicken sandwich and focaccia.
Both were very good. Friendly staff and great selection of food.
I've had cookies and octopus from here that friends have shared with me.
Looking forward to stopping in for more food to go. Easy off and on from I-80.

They catered our affair and they were spectacular in every way! The food was fresh, tasty, beautiful presentation, and our guests raved about it. We’re booking them again for our next event. They are the best!

Excellent bakery and deli with great sandwiches, especially the eggplant cutlets, fresh mozzarella, and the fried artichoke hearts. Worth a stop just for bread, but you'll want a sandwich to go.

Better than expected! Raves about the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich and the Turkey on ciabatta! Good selection of Italian pasta. Best Coffee Cake, sweet and moist. The selection of Tuscan vases and bowls are beautiful!

This is a great restaurant. The quality of the food far exceeds a lot of Italian restaurants in the area but I wanted to single out the customer service. I ordered a sandwich to the Succasunna location and it accidentally went to Denville. They very graciously sent the order to the Succasunna location (which is also fantastic)- no questions asked. Wonderful people who value their customers. Thanks so much, guys!

The Bread is awesome! They do have a full deli counter that was mobbed with customers, meaning it must be good. I will try a deli sandwich on my next trip.

Solid sandwiches and really friendly staff. Stopped here on our way back to NYC and we felt lucky to enjoy such a great lunch!

I recently went to a food bank; (Denver) and I grabbed a loaf of the Avocado bread. BEST DAMN BREAD I HAVE EVER HAD.
I am 61yrs old, and I have eaten my fair share of bread. Hard times dont always last...but good customers do. I will be a customer for LIFE. Thanks!!!

The sandwiches here are incredibly delicious, consistently prepared well, and of a generous portion size. The food is fresh and delicious, 100% of the time.

What an absolute gem! Their bread is amazing, the market carries a nice selection of food products from Italy, and their deli is delightful! We go there regularly to buy bread and leave with a bag full of goodies! Recommend!

Every time I’ve had Anthony & Sons, I have never been disappointed. The deli sandwiches are all delicious and my go-to is the cranberry chicken salad sandwich aka the #16. The 7 grain roll is always fresh and the glazed walnuts add nice texture to every bite. If you’re passing by and hungry, stop by and grab the #16 and leave satisfied.

I only go to the Italian market there. Their pre-made food is fantastic! I know they make everything in the freezers, right there on the premises. Their rice balls are amazing!!

Food is always amazing. They have not lowered their quality at all, post pandemic. I am always satisfied when I order here. Excellent, great quality food with reasonable prices. The food definitely is memorial. I love ordering here.

What I came in for wasn't available in the case, so the young girl went back into the factory twice to get the 2 items i was shopping for. With a smile, mind you. Baked goods amd all the prepared foods are always top-notch here. Its great having them so close by- usually my luck is the great places are always 2 hours away. Five minutes tops to Anthony's! Highly recommended!

Absolutely fabulous sandwiches, pastries and avocado bread!!!!! Stopped in on our way from Massachusetts to North Carolina. Worth going out of your way for this gem! D
