Kona Grill - Woodbridge

My family and I tried Kona Grill out in Woodbridge, and we loved it! This restaurant is spacious and open and just lovely. We were seated promptly and our server, Hasan, was incredibly professional, personable and knowledgeable. The service was top tier! The chicken satay was served hot and it was delicious, the calamari was to die-for! Our server, Hasan, was attentive and willing to guide us in our food choices. The music playlist was subtle and current, and the bathrooms are beautiful and nicely kept.
We had fish and chips, ribs, surf &turf and macadamia chicken-all were elegantly served and full of flavor and tastiness! The mashed potatoes were decadent, but could be warmer. The Mac and cheese tasted amazing and homemade, which we prefer, not that stuff in a box. Desserts were phenomenal - the warm vanilla bun was the best, followed by a very close carrot cake. All the while, Hasan, was constantly checking on us and catering to us. He was exceptional at service. I hope that the managers know the gem they have in Hasan. He understands service! It was a great experience for all of us. You should definitely give Kona a try and ask for Hasan, he is the best!

The moment i stepped in to dine with Kona Grill the hostess Kimberly brought us into her warm welcoming atmosphere which was her service. She was full of good vibes and made sure our every need was taken care of with a smile! Kimberly brought nothing but the best to our table and every table she was attending. Management needs to take note of the impressive work she does out there. Food was amazing and speed of service was impeccable, I will be dining again!

I used to come to Kona grill a lot, but it had been a few years. Glad to see the quality is still high.
On todays trip we got the poke bowl, calamari, shrimp tacos, chicken and shrimp lettuce wraps, and edamame.
The poke bowl was delicious and has a good balance of all the ingredients. Definitely get it with the tuna.
The calamari was pretty delicious but by the end it ate a little salty.
Shrimp tacos were good and had lots of filling inside.
The chicken shrimp wraps were super tasty and they give you plenty of lettuce for the large bowl.
The edamame was standard edamame as you’d expect.
Overall the portions were relatively large with is always appreciated. That said the price was a bit high - but I suppose that’s to be expected these days.
Look forward to coming back again.

I love they’re sushi and the drinks are super good! I definitely recommend for any night out or even a birthday dinner.

Literally in awe with the experience of going here, The food was so delicious had me full till next week, the customer service was amazing everyone was so kind I felt like a kid going over to my best friend’s house it was miraculous. Let’s not forget the look and the aesthetic of the restaurant I wanted to fall asleep I felt so cozy and safe in there and honestly I can’t wait to take my friends back this summer so I can make some good and amazing memories with them. I never EVER right reviews but I absolutely had too for this place because they 1000% deserve all the praise.

Went for my wife’s birthday and ended up having one of the best times. Food was amazing and our server Brittany was absolutely flawless. The best service I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time. I’m a huge fan of the potstickers!!! My mouths watering just thinking of them. We will definitely be back and definitely will be asking for Brittany again!!!

Loved everything about this place. Food, service and ambiance was awesome. I sat next to the fire place since we were seated by the windows. Everything was delicious. Best part?...The steak which was cooked to perfection! The compound butter on top took it to another level. The sliders were seasoned just right and didn't even need ketchup. The satay chicken skewers were nice and juicy and flavored very well. Avacado Eggroles were awesome too With the happy hour prices it was a steal. I'll definitely be going back. Waiter Hassan was the best!

Amazing food right next to the Delta hotel....staff is wonderful and a great atmosphere..You can't go wrong with the calamari, shrimp and lobster roll with a side of fried Brussel sprouts!

Went for a late lunch with mom. Staff are nice.we are vegetarian so Nicole the employee there was pretty helpful in choosing what are good options in vegetarian dishes.
The wait time was pretty reasonable and the food portions were good enough. We were not too full.. in a nutshell it was a good experience. Will highly recommend.

I went in today for Valentine’s day, and I received exceptional service from Kim today! She was very attentive, hospitable, made my girlfriend and I feel welcomed and taken care of, which was kind of her to do to go the extra mile. The food was amazing and I would love to come back and recommend to my friends!

I recently had a meal at Kona Grill with some friends, and I have to say the food was good but the server was excellent. Her name is LuzMary her attention to detail, and her friendly service and her constant follow-up to make sure that we didn’t need anything made the night go smoothly. I hope all your servers are this good you will definitely see me again.

This place was so good from beginning to end. We did get seated right under the heater but the server had the heat turned down. For a group of 5 with tax and 20% tip our bill was $355. BUT we did have a lot of food and two rounds of drinks. We had margarita flights, dirty martinis, a kosmo and MY FAVE the “Patio Bubbles”!

As for food, we had calamari (which was okay, it wasn’t breaded right so some pieces didn’t have a crust but the spicy mayo sauce was great!), 4 different sushi’s (including the FLAMING DRAGON ROLL), the chicken flatbread and Brussel sprouts. All the food was GREAT!!

The staff was also great and we had a phenomenal time!

The happy hour menu is my favorite. The atmosphere is always chill. One of our date night favorite spots.

We celebrated one of my friends 31st at this place.We were very happy with the food as well as the service. They didn’t charge us for the soup as it took little longer and they had to give us with our entrees. That shows how good they care for their customers. Mango strawberry Mojito was really good. Rib eye was perfect. They also have a bar area if you wish to sit there. For starters try their Avocado egg rolls. Definitely recommend this place.

My Friend and I had a girls day shopping and decided to eat at Kona Grill today. It was her 2nd time, and it was my first. Our server Andrea was great. She made sure we were good throughout our dinner here. Very attentive and detailed with her service. I was never left thirsty or waiting for her to come around and it was a busy day. you dont get this kind of service everywhere.

The ambiance is inviting, with a chic yet comfortable atmosphere perfect for any occasion. Our experience was elevated by the sweet hospitality of our hostess, Kim, who ensured our visit was memorable from start to finish. Enjoyed a variety of dishes such as sushi and I really enjoyed the ribeye meatballs.

Amazing server! Great Food! The female hostesses were not cordial and spent almost the entire time chatting with each other and barely acknowledging customers. However the other staff made up for their rudeness with their excellent customer service!

Came here for family lunch, there was 11 of us and they accommodated. The food and cocktails were amazing! We each enjoyed our meals, no complaints! The waiter was great even with all of us even though he forgot some things but that’s inevitable handling a big group, so good job! I wish I caught the name but I will be returning very soon and will get it, as well as enjoy some more food!!

I could easily give this place five stars. Good vibes all around, especially from Kimberly. She has the best attitude, greets you with a smile, and is super welcoming. What a great experience!
