Taco Express Food Store

Drove here about 30 minutes after seeing their reels on Instagram. Food was amazing & so authentic. Horchata & their fresh homemade hotsauce were my favorites to accompany the dishes. We had birria tacos, tacos al pastor, rice & black beans. The kids had flautas and they put the toppings on the side as requested so they could add what they wanted. They also shared some fries. The homemade corn tortillas are delicious! I also ordered a tamale dulce to go which I haven't tried yet but it looks amazing. There was a great selection of drinks and they also had so many Mexican candies & treats like chicharones de harina. We will definitely be back.

It was a really nice experience. The lady up front and the cooks were super nice. The store is clean, well organized and the food is really good. They have piñatas 🪅 a lot of drinks and many treats and desserts that you would topically find in a Mexican deli or even Mexico itself (I’m saying it from experience). I ordered 3 tacos de carne asada and an horchata. The tacos were good and the horchata was suuuuuupeer smooth!

Best tacos in Jersey!!!!

Found this place randomly and took a stab - glad I did. The al pastor torta was just amazing, with a bit of spicy kick and a crunchy bread. My son had the carnitas burrito and said it was better than chipotle. We also tried the flan, which was ok.

Fast service, molcajete was missing something, the sopes were on point. We are coming all the way from PA, definitely take the drive again.

Had a great experience last night eating at Taco Express. Food was delicious and staff were very attentive even tho we were a large party. Would recommend and hope to go back soon.

I love this place! The food is delicious, fresh and is prepared quickly right in front of you. They also have many authentic Mexican drinks & candies.
The menu is in both Spanish and English so it’s definitely a plus for those who don’t speak speak Spanish. The servers are all very friendly and can explain what comes with every dish in case you’re not sure what to pick.

A must try if you like Mexican food.

We passed this place on the way to watch a swim meet at the Y down the street. Halfway through we got hungry and stopped in. The food was fresh and prepared for us right then, not sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. We had the Fajita Mixta, Fajita Pollo, some everything Chorizo Tacos, and Arroz y Frijoles on the side. They're generous with the portions, everything was delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely stop in again. It's worth a visit. P.S. Our server, Jessica, was super.

An amazing service I received today when I purchased my 2 Chicken Tostadas. A girl took my order but I never asked her name cuz I didn't want to sound or seem awkward towards her lol but what a great service she's providing me on my last two visits. I usually go to Taco Express location due to the fact that is only steps away from Home and because her friendly and warmly personality. Recomend this location. Amazing service. Best Chicken Tostadas in town period. Gracias chica!! 5Stars!

It was my first time eating there and I love it.

Five stars for the taste of the food. But customer service isn’t the best. Also every other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to give out chips and salsa before the food like a free appetizer before the food ALWAYS. But not this one!

One of the best hole-in-the-wall taco places in the area. Totally would recommend their lengua. Their selection is pretty good and prices are fair. Definitely coming back for more.
