Mr Crabby's Seafood House & Sports Bar (NJ)

A seafood sports bar with an open late kitchen? Count me in! Me and my friends stumbled upon here by accident and ended up having an amazing dinning experience. Our waitor Brian sealed that deal for us. All of his recommendations, attentiveness, honesty and outgoing personality was 10/10 all around.
For food we started with the crab and lobster wontons that were so creamy on the inside with a perfect crunch coating on the outside. The lobster roll was greatly stuffed with fresh chunks of lobster and a buttery toasted roll. For raw bar, we got the battleship which was huge and totally worth the money! As for the seafood boil, all the seafood was fresh but they forgot the sauce for it so I feel like i missed the opportunity to taste their boil to the full extend. My friend got the cowboy steak which I loved! The steak melts in your mouth and the spinach was cooked perfectly. Our waitor brian was so nice and upset i didnt tell him sooner about the boil sauce so he gave us a free dessert which was the key lime pie. First of all, I never was into key lime pie but wow! After tasting this one my whole opinion changed. I loved that the pie wasnt the color green (as silly as that sounds), and it wasn't an over powering lime taste.
Brian introduced us to the owner and his son and they were extremely nice and informing us on where they get their seafood from which was enjoyable to see the passion they have and also telling us about all the events they do- especially line dancing, how cool and different is that?! I highly recommend checking this place out.

Most people don’t know but Mr Crabbys was taken over by new owners about 2 years ago and the transformation of food, atmosphere and hospitality from the Muccia family has been incredible.
I have gone for dinner, my birthday, a mom’s night out and just had my mom’s 65th birthday party there.
Every time I go, Nico, his parents and his whole staff are amazing! They are attentive, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure your night is a perfect one. They literally don’t skip a beat!

One of my favorite meals is the warm lobster roll but there are so many delicious meals to try.

I just can’t thank them all enough for making my mom’s surprise birthday party the most amazing day for her!

You guys are seriously the best!

I came today and Brian is an amazing server. Really attentive and knew all the knowledge for the menu. The drinks were really good as well. Thanks Chris! Overall I enjoyed my stay here. I will recommend and I will be back.

Excellent!!! Great vibe, food was spectacular and great service. The new ownership definitely knows what they're doing!!! great spot for seafood. We sat out the patio and it added so much atmosphere to our meal. There was a DJ and some sort of “guess the song” bingo happening which was fun. They seem to have a lot of planned events coming up definitely worth checking out!

Stopped here for some apps and oysters. The food was amazing. Best oysters I’ve had in the area! We also did the calamari and coconut shrimp apps which were both equally delicious. We had the best waitress, Victoria and while we didn’t get the bartenders name he was also amazing! He made up an awesome mocktail…just going off me asking for something spicy with no alcohol and even came to check to see how I liked it. Very friendly atmosphere can’t wait to go back! Oh and the key lime pie with Victoria’s decorative raspberry glaze was AMAZING!

So happy we decided to try this place out! We absolutely loved the vibe and the menu had just enough for everyone especially if you aren't into seafood. We tried the mozzerlla Luna, boneless wings, and Philly cheeseteaks and we were not disappointed! Can't wait to come back with a large group to try the snow crab pot. Whether you are here to watch a game at the bar, here for a date night or out with friends, this place is a must try!

Driven past it since it opened few years ago and never stop to try it - until I saw all the great reviews. So finally we decided to drop in last night and I was extremely surprised because it exceeded my expectations. It was family friendly, had indoor and outdoor seating, food was excellent, and to top it off the staff were amazing. That to me is a 5 star rating and please keep up the great work! Only thing I was not too happy about was the diet coke (ended up going with iced tea)....please check the line or taste it. Other than that......excellent choice and glad we finally made the stop to try it. We will be back for sure. Enjoy the photos and try not to get hungry looking at them =)

The tortillas from the tacos aren't delicious but in general good, mac and cheese super delicious and also the broccoli side.
Its more like a seafood place, but we tried different things.
Drinks: delicious!!
The place its clean and nice, and good for watching sports while drinking.
The gator bites and French fries (fried stuff) had a funny taste i guess the oil was not fresh at all but good in general.

We had my daughters baby shower at Mr. Crabby’s yesterday and everything was perfect! The staff did an outstanding job making sure everyone was taken care of from the setup to cleanup. Food was delicious and the room was organized perfectly. Highly recommend having an event there! Special shout out to David who was our primary server for the day!

Went here last night for the first time in a few years based off a recommendation from a coworker who said its under new ownership. Our server Haley was so attentive and she made us feel like we were her only table even though we could see her running around to her other tables! Just from looking around the restaurant seemed a little understaffed but our food was delicious and the drinks were great too. We ordered the crabby dip, shrimp tacos and fish and chips. The trivia was a plus. We will definitely be back to see some of the other events and will hopefully see Haley again!

Love the service and atmosphere! I love sitting outside in the summer with the exception of it having a negative smell while sitting outside. Maybe from the garbage, maybe change the location of your garbage cans. The server, I can’t recall his name is very attentive and remembered us from our previous time we went there. The food is good little room for improvement but definitely worth the trip. I always have the oysters and they are fresh, the lobster tail was cooked perfectly broiled, as our waiter did tell them not to over cook. (Attention to detail) definitely worth the trip to Mr Crabby’s

A long time high school friend recommended Mr. Crabby’s. It was over 20 years since we ate at that location and it was called something else and the food was so so..
My wife and I walked in and were immediately impressed from the parking lot to the way the building is laid out and refurbished. Everything is newly replaced and refurbished.
Since the new owners took over almost a year ago, Mr. Crabby’s has become the go to place for seafood. I had the crab cakes and my wife had a chicken salad.
I can honestly say they were probably the best crab cakes I’ve ever had and yes they were really that good!
We were at that restaurant probably 20 years ago when it was under a different name with only so-so results. It was just OK.
The new owners, as of roughly 8 months ago, have invested heavily from top to bottom, front and back. I think their biggest investment is in the people that work there. Both through training and choosing the right people for the job.
The food was on time and presented beautifully. I wish I had taken a photo before I started eating.
It’s been a long time since we’ve been there, but I have a feeling that we will be there on a regular basis from now on, the servers were excellent. I don’t even know where you find help like that anymore. They were courteous, fast and very attentive. The restaurant was super clean and attractive The restaurant was also well laid out and for those who enjoy going to a bar and watching sports you will see a huge monitor that from any seat in the bar you’ll never miss a play!
My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Crabby’s on Route 10 E. in Randolph .

Very good place. Good environment. Clean restrooms. Outdoor sink near the restrooms for washing off after having crabs. Indoor and outdoor seating. Hightops by the bar. We ordered raw oysters, which were really good. Lobster and crab wontons were good as well; just be careful, they are a lot hotter inside than they feel, LOL. We got the double lobster roll so we can each have 1, and they were really good. My recommendation for this is to chop the lobster more as I had to do some finger pulling after a bite because some of the pieces were large. The lobster bisque was really good, great flavor. We got parm truffle fries to share..these for my taste, were a bit too strong in truffle flavor. Our waitress was pleasant and quick with service.

Mr Crabby's does it right. Food, drinks, & service are all top shelf. Giant TVs everywhere, like a sports bar should. Lots of parking too. Mahi Mahi Tacos !

I went to lunch with my mother the other day and our waitress, Juliana, was very kind and helpful when explaining the menu to us. We both ordered salmon dishes, which were really delicious. I will definitely go back to try the other dishes on the menu.

Great food. Amazing service. It’s like dining at the Jersey shore, the atmosphere and especially and most importantly the food.

Had a perfect date night over the weekend. Nothing like starting with some Blue Moons. Didn't get a pic, but had a Shrimp Cocktail and the Lobster & Crab Wontons. They were delicious! Our entrees, the Crabby Chefs Paella and the New England Style Lobster Rolls, were great servings, and very tasty. And our waitress was attentive and provided great service.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Came here once 3 years ago only gave em 3 stars but ,,, I will retract that lol . The service from Eddie was amazing . Milan I think her name is, is also amazing . On point, knew how to answer all my detailed questions. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. I will come back .. oh and live bands and line dancing.... can't ask for anything more. The website has the schedule for all that. Amazing place. Thanks guys

I wish I could give more stars! We went last night for our first time after we passed it a couple weeks back. I love seafood, so I was excited to try it. The atmosphere was great! The service was amazing! Nico introduced himself graciously along with our wonderful waitress Tracy. Finally, the FOOD WAS AMAZING! I had the best Mahi Mahi I think I have ever tasted. My husband went for steak instead, he is a big foodie. He said it was one of the best steaks he had ever had and that it was cooked perfectly! I am so excited to find our new go to place! OH and try the Crabby's Crab Dip, you will not be disappointed.

The service is outstanding! Liv our server was so sweet and attentive. The food was amazing. Fried calamari was tender and tasty, fish and chips was spot on and zuppa di pesce had so much shellfish we had to take the rest in a doggy bag. Will definitely visit again.
