Famous Kabab Cuisine

We were in the area and decided to check out this place bc of all the great reviews and I’m so glad we did. This place is amazing and the food is so so good!! We ordered the hummus, chicken chapli and beef chapli with qabuli palow (traditional rice with carrots and raisins). It’s so favorable and so fresh. They bring out the largest piece of naan bread ever with your order or hummus and food btw which I totally forgot to take a picture of 🤦🏻‍♀ oh and the people who work here are so lovely!

You know a place is going to be good when they greet food delivery people coming in to pickup food with kindness and a smile just like they do with their customers. We went there with the kids and had a great time interacting with their little one and enjoying delicious food. They were so gracious that it felt like we were dining in their home. The naan was outstanding and so soft. We’ll be back soon!

Went with the mix combo (chicken, lamb, kufta) with afghan rice and it was great. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the bread but that was my favorite part. Highly recommended if you haven't tried it, will be back soon.

Taste as delicious as home cooked. I think the place runs by the owners (family). I ordered the lamb shank, bazenjan, kofta, and lemon Mint. The food was great and priced well. It was served with the love, smiles, and warmth of a family. Parking is available.

Wow! What bad thing could I say about this restaurant, not one word. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious and more. I had come to this restaurant for the first time with a fellow afghan, who stated it tastes and feels like home. I ordered the Mantoo, beef steamed dumplings. They were packed with flavor and topped with an amazing chikpea and yogurt sauce that punched my tongue with spices. As a main meal I ordered the Lamb Tikka Kabab and Zamarud Palow (spinach rice). As a drink I recommend the lemon juice with mint, refreshing! My goodness, the rice alone was delicious, it had so much flavor and had a yummy buttery taste. The lamb was tender and juicy, perfectly cooked. What followed was the Afghani tea (black tea with cardamom). This tea was the perfect way to end a fulfilling meal, clean and soothing on the stomach. The service was prompt and personable, it felt like being in an afghan household where the hospitality is memorable and puts some restaurants to shame. I will definitely be coming back!

One of the best kabob I’ve ever had!!! I was driving by and I spotted this store and got hungry! I had the chicken kabob with the brown rice, salad and bread! I definitely recommend you try their restaurant!

Best pitta bread I've ever had! Family-owned restaurant with great food, great atmosphere, and fair prices. Get the medley appetizer. You won't regret!

Hidden gem. Best Afghan cuisine in NJ. Reasonable prices, cozy ambience, best qabuli pulao and chicken tikka 🍗🍗🍗🍗 and lentil soup is amazing as well 👌👌👌👌🤟🤟🤟🤟 owners are very nice. Our favorite place to eat 👍

Hidden gem! I’d never had Afghan food before and this small business did not disappoint! So much flavor and freshly made, I could tell. Chicken over white rice and chicken tikka kebab were to die for. Definitely coming back for more soon!

The food is great! Especially they’re eggplant dish!! I’ve eaten at multiple Afghan restaurants, and this place has the best eggplant. The service was quick and the staff was super friendly! Will definitely be ordering from here again.

The food is good and the service is honest and pleasant. Don’t go there if you’re in a rush and expect professional wait staff. Go if you’re in a mood for some good quality kebabs, cooked fresh. We had the chicken shawarma which was nice and the chicken Chaplin kebabs which was good for two. They also give sauces on the side so you can make them as spicy as you want. This area needed a kebab place, hope they stay!

Most authentic Afghan Food you can ever find in Jersey. Must try! The Chicken Tikka with Kabuli was Kisht!

AMAZING FOOD for this first timer!! The customer service is second to none. Ahmed was incredibly gracious and he promised we would love the food and he was right!! The food here is delicious. I had the mantoo and lamb tikka and both were fantastic dishes. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I'll be back to this restaurant!

We drove here from Jersey City and Really enjoyed the food here. Very authentic Afghan cuisine. Ahmad and his family are great hosts . If you are vegetarian then you have veg options too . We are definitely coming back .
