The Second Half On Main exceeded my expectations in every way. From the delicious food to the incredibly friendly staff, every aspect of my experience was delightful. The portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly affordable considering the quality of the food. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying meal in a welcoming atmosphere.

Our go to in denville always! Love coming here on the weekends for bloodys & apps. Their staff is awesome, everyone makes you feel at home. Cody the bartender is great! Definitely recommend Second Half- never ever a bad experience. My family & I absolutely love it here!!

Sat outdoors with our 3 dogs and had a wonderful meal with great service. Easy to find parking nearby

The second half is one of my fav places in denville! The food and drinks are great, the staff always goes above and beyond! I cannot say enough great things about the bartenders, waitresses and waiters and the owners! Great business for our little town!

Best Irish pub in the area. Feels like a modern Cheers with more classic a d better food.

I have not been to the Second Half on Main since the fire 11 years ago. I used to go all of the time in the other location which had so much character. Not for any specific reason in particular, just was always really convenient and you could not miss the building. Loved the photo of the old building in the menu. I am glad we stopped. The food and service was awesome. Burger was amazing. Cooked perfect and the onion rings are off the charts. I will be going back again and I can promise it wont be 11 years, more like next month. Was visiting my friend from NY and every time I come, she takes me to Danville, which is the cutest town! We came here for lunch and although the menu isn't super big, the choices were appealing and interesting. Im glad we decided to try the avocado rice balls because they were so delicious!! I always order a French onion soup wherever I'm at and theirs didn't disappoint. I was trying to pick a healthier option and got the chicken avocado salad and it was so delicious!! The half an avocado and put a scoop of chicken salad in each half! It was over a bed of greens with a delicious cilantro dressing! They had children's options and my goddaughter got the Mac and cheese and side order of fries. Everything was delicious, service was great. It was a beautiful day and although the bees were a little pesky, we had a really nice experience!

Stopped in for drinks! Love the atmosphere with the high ceilings, has a nice colonial feel to it. drinks were very good. will be back for more

Patty Melt was phenomenal...and the French,onion soup was awesome. Friendly staff, marginal prices, and great atmosphere!

We LOVE that this place has outdoor seating. Cody was an outstanding sever and guided us to great burger choices. The sweet potato fries were great. All around 5 stars. It was our first time and we will be back! Keep the outdoor seating please!

Was next store for a birthday party. Was at the party location 1/2 hour early. While standing outside, Mike from this bar came out and invited us inside after asking us of we needed help. Mike stated they weren’t open yet, but we could have a beer while they set up and opened. What a class act!! Most places don’t open until the exact moment, however Mike cared and was inviting. Stayed until party then returned.
Adam the bartender made a great drink and the food was fresh. Really great staff. Felt like a regular. Kudos to Mike, Adam, and entire staff.

First time eating here, but definitely not my last. Service was great and the food was incredible! I ordered the Chipotle burger and the Texas burger for lunch, they came with pickles, coleslaw, and your choice of fries. These burgers were delicious and so tasty, best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend this place!

We’ve visited Second Half on Main several times over the past couple of years, and it’s consistently great! The food and service are both top-notch. They have a nice outdoor seating area out front of the restaurant, and indoors, they have a nice bar area and dining room. Their menu has a good variety of pub food, and the waitstaff is always friendly and efficient. It’s one of our go-to places in Denville!

Came for lunch, I had the steamers and fish and chips. Both were fantastic. Large, fresh tasting clams, good portion. Fish and chips were breaded and fried perfectly.

Great food. Great service and atmosphere. Janet is awesome and so is the staff.
