Hands down the best Mexican restaurant. We ordered torta bistec was delicious, authentic taste. The pollo tamales was good, I prefer steak tamales. The papaya shake reminds me of mom’s recipe.

The decor is a beautiful inspiration if your an artist admiring fine craftsmanship in the painting and furniture details.

Truly romantic place for a date where you can hear each other speak and glare into each others eyes.

I ordered takeout from here after it was recommended to me for the tacos. When it arrived I was pleased right away because of how careful and neat everything was packed. I had the tacos Al pastor and chile relleno. Both were delicious and by far one of the best I’ve had. Tacos had all of the fixings and chile entree came with rice and beans. It was wrapped up with plastic so it wouldn’t spill and I appreciated that. The pricing is very good for the quality. This is one of my new favorite spots. 10/10

As a native Californian Latin culture and food is as natural to me as breathing. Stumbling into Brenda Lee to find not only favorite dishes from my youth but also a freshness and quality I have not experienced in many years was a complete joy. May your experience be as rewarding.

Everything we tried was delicious! Authentic and flavorful, my new spot in the area. The birria tacos were my fav!

Super chill ambient with lots of space. Great food and customer service. The piercing area in the back was like a Plus.

I like breakfast but the Bar at night is pretty chill for the games and boxing matches

This place is a gem, from the food to the service and atmosphere, if you like authentic Mexican cuisine than I promise this is the spot to try.

I’ve been all over Dover and surrounding area and Brenda Lee is by far the best place to eat authentic Mexican food. This place is very clean, great ambience, super good food and service. I would recommend this to everybody.

Never dined in but I’ve ordered out plenty of times. The tacos are amazing, burritos are beautifully put together and flavorful. Personally 11/10!

Best elote I've ever had!

Seriously the best tacos al pastor I have had in US. High quality meat in them (sometimes you get pork that’s very fatty, but not here). Authentic Mexican food. E.g. the quesadilla is not what you expect

Loved their ambience and food was amazing. They had fresh ingredients and all the dishes were flavorful. The server was comfortable speaking in Spanish; lucky our friend is fluent in Spanish! We had ordered Empanadas, Tacos & Tostas. We were a party of 4 & all of us enjoyed the food. We took left overs home. We gave them over 10% in tip Only to realize that the server had already added 15% gratuity plus close to 2% for using Credit card. Felt kind of cheated but the food was great! Will go again if in town but will be careful to check the itemized receipt 😅

Consistently great authentic Mexican food. Tostadas, flautas (tacos dorados), and tacos are always so good. I've even had some of the entrees and they are always good too. Highly recommended!

Brenda Lee is great tasting Mexican food at a great price. The tacos and fajitas can't be missed! Service is quick and there's never a rush to leave. Parking is sometimes scarce around dinner time.

Very fresh. Great prices. Atmosphere is very nice and not too much (though maybe a bit much). Overall the food compensates for any inadequacy. Authentic Mexican.

The food was delicious and very generous portion. Lea our waitress, was friendly, always smiling and making us feel very welcome.

Great food, only complaint I could think of is they (like so many others) don't put salt on their french fries. If that's the only thing to complain about is it really complaining?
