Foodtown of East Harlem

The prices are good at this small and cozy market. The staff is attentive and helpful. I only came here for some canned goods today and have not tried the seafood area that looks good. The bus stop right in front of the store, on third avenue, is convenient. I was a little confused if at checkout there is one line or multiple, but maybe next time I'll figure that out.

Best prices and customer service in East Harlem. As soon as you walk in, you know your in a family business with people that actually care.

This is the best supermarket on Manhattan! Super clean inside, affordable prices, nice and kind staff. All recommendations.

Foodtown is actually family they are the only supermarket in east harlem that treats the customers as family they solves the problem they speak to you respectful,there prices are descent and management is awesome they fish and meat market is ok as well

Great place to shop. Very welcoming, Great customer service. They always have great sales and reasonable prices compared to near by supermarket. Wheel chair friendly.

We were visiting some friends in the area and needed to pick up something to bring with us. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the store and great options for a few wonderful platters they quickly helped us put together. Everything was so fresh and amazing! Highly recommend for a party platter or doing your every day shopping. Very nice store! Kudos!

Terrific grocery store, all the staff are friendly and professional, and it has a wide variety (and wide price points). I particularly love the fish department - the couple who run it are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and make amazing fish rubs. They also give excellent advice on how to cook different fishes, and with what. The neighborhood was really lacking a good fish department before them, so I'm super happy that they're there

Great super market. Thus far they've had everything we've needed, and their weekly deals are worth it. Amazingly friendly - they greet you individually when you walk in and are always willing to help if you're looking for something. I used to shop at city fresh, but after the the option of a rewards card, I've switched over. Happy to have this added to the neighborhood.

Amazing new supermarket. Great prices and they carry this amazing Mediterranean garlic sauce. Wow the best thing I've had in a while. It's called Tachbisha if you go there you have to get it. They have an condiment, marinate a dressing and a spread

This store is sooo clean and the products are displayed in an orderly manner. A little pricey but the friendly staff makes you want to buy anyway.

The customers do rush you. I just stopped shopping. The workers were so nice and helpful. I didn't want to jump into a line of they didn't finsh the transaction. I will be back and they are a little pricey but they had some good deals with the card. Shop here it's clean and afordable.

I love the workers at this place. Usually smiling, always helpful. The coffee Blanca makes is AMAZINGGGGGGG.

The prices though, the prices can be better. Some items can be expensive compared to other places in Harlem. However items are fresh !
