Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse

Steve was our cook/performer and he was very entertaining. I took my mom for her 65th birthday and she was elated. She laughed loud, ate well, and had a couple margaritas. She said the food was absolutely delicious and I have to agree. We ordered the Emperor platter (cant remember the exact name of it) but it had everything in it except pork. We went on 1/31/2024 & my mom called me to thank me again today.....will be going back when my aunt come up from Virginia.

Fabian and Sandra were an awesome team! We dropped in for our sons birthday & everything went smooth, what a great time! Fabian had us laughing during the entire habachi cooking session, glad we ended up with him as our chef. Sandra was on point with her attentiveness and our entire order. The drinks were great, I tasted my husbands Zombie drink and I ordered one that came in a cute coconut souvenir cup! So tasty. Thank you for your great service, cleanliness and for making this dinner such a pleasant one! Kudos to this locations team.

I’ve been coming to this place for forever to do hibachi, because where else do you go for someone’s birthday? But I have not been in years, and I forgot how much of a fun time it is!

My friend, and I started out with the crispy rice, with tuna, and the chicken wings, Which were extra crispy and extra saucy , cooked to perfection!

My friend enjoyed her mai tai, which was fruity and strong! I ordered the Asian orchid, which was delicious and I got it inside of a souvenir cup! Then we both picked hibachi, which came with soup, salad, and your choice of rice or noodles and meat. I got the steak and scallops. Everything was so tender and of course I cook put on a real show!

Despite a long wait, (expected for a Sunday night at 7) this feast was not only the most entertaining dinner experience of my life, but also absolutely delicious. Fabian, our chef, could have been a comedian on the side it was so funny! I was in tears laughing nearly the whole time. I would gladly come again for incredible food, and an unforgettable comedy experience that will surely be talked about for a long time in the future. Thank you!!! Props to Fabian!

Let me just say Harry the Hibachi chef was more of an artist than a food maker. I have never been so fed and entertained at the same time since “Medieval Times” His humor was so impeccable, he could make it on wall street. He graciously knighted us with celebrity lookalike titles such as “Jackie Chan,” “Selena Gomez,” “John Mayer,” “Dora,” “Beiber,” and “Eric.” The food was greatly edible. I loved it. So good. Soup = Great. Salad = Vegatble version of soup. Harry had a brash, yet honest perspective on his position at arirang, quite fortuitous; with fidelity and respect for the work. In a catchphrase-like way, he continually repeated the phase “I don’t care” followed by maniacal laughing. Truly hilarious. Tears in my face, in a happy way. I would fine again. But maybe not with the bald man across from our table, who, probably under the influence, proclaimed oddities such as the fact that his elderly mother was the “OG of OGs.” He also spoke street, by the way, and stood up to dance with the birthday music. He then disappeared completely. Best hibachi experience in a long time! Jackie is so friendly and Edwin was very sweet. Josh was hilarious and charismatic, he’s the best hibachi chef I’ve ever had!

The decorations are gorgeous and the fountains give a great atmosphere.

We’ve been here multiple times now and every time it’s a hit. The chefs are super fun, portions are great, and I can’t recommend the friend rice enough.

The wait staff is also really good. Always keep refills coming, very friendly.

It is a popular birthday spot so if you don’t want to hear their birthday tune every 15-20 minutes this may not be your spot.

Steve is the man!!! He is amazing so kind so nice and so precious. Such a hard worker, and personable individual. Oscar was also very helpful, as i had a lot of food to take home and he brought me a big bag to hold it all. Thank you! Will be back only if Steve is the chef and Oscar is there to bring me a bag!

Great place for a group dinner. Food was delicious. Josh, our chef, was entertaining as well as a good cook and also very accommodating with allergies and food preferences. Elisa was a great server who kept our drinks filled and paced our meal perfectly.

The atmosphere was entertaining &welcoming. When you go request Harry as your chef. His laugh 😆 makes you laugh. Arirang service was excellent 🤗

Highly recommend making reservations ahead of time. Having a reservation will make this a more pleasant experience. Great experience all around! The chef was entertaining, service was quick, staff was polite, and the wait was minimal.

The performance from the chef makes this worth a visit. Lots of humor and interactivity throughout!

Highly recommend the fried rice! Top 3 fried rice you'll have. The chicken & shrimp hibachi is a large enough portion so you'll probably have some food to take home.

Prices are surprisingly less than the other similar styled hibachi restaurants. With a drink, you can expect to spend about $30 a person for a plate.

I had an amazing night with Chef Teshima who made my Hibachi experience even more special. He had a great sense of humor and cooked delicious food too. Our server Sandra was attentive as well. I would highly recommend this experience…

We just had the best meal and service experience at Arirang. It seems the food and service gets better every time we go. As parents of two boys 8 & 5, hibachi can be a very drawn out daunting experience. From start to finish everything was perfect. Our server arrived in minutes and was always around us to bring whatever we requested in seconds. Our chef had a great demeanor and routine and it was easily the best quality hibachi food I’ve ever eaten. The dessert and check came quick and we were in and out in 90 minutes on a Saturday. Can’t wait to go back.

Elisa C. was a great server! She was so attentive, took care of what we needed and was very personable. The cook was fun, engaging and one of the best I’ve had. We enjoyed our selves and our 2 small children are so all around win!

First time here with my family, love the atmosphere, the food and excellent service! Our chef was Josh, he was amazing and did a great job with entertaining us, definitely recommend Arirang hibachi in mountainside NJ, we will definitely be returning soon.

We had the BEST and funniest hibachi chef ever, Harry. Harry you were so much fun & made mine and my sisters experience so wonderful and fun. The manager was so sweet and came to our table to check in on us. Our server, Ardy was super attentive and accommodating. We will a million percent be coming back on any day that the two of them at working! Thank you all for making such a memorable and fun experience for us! Literally the best hibachi food and show we’ve ever had!

They have some of the best customer service here and entertainment. They are respectful and always know how to give a great laugh . My mom had a blast here on her birthday, they were kind enough to take pictures for us and I love how they came out to sing to her. Can’t wait to come here again

Harry will have you cracking up from the moment this gentlemen walks to your station. Food made with love is his way. He will have you laughing so much you’ll end up eating all your food without noticing. Each time we come back we will be sitting with Hibachi Harry! The best Chef I ever experienced. 100

I love coming here with my family! The food is amazing and the service is top notch. Hostess Jackie is very nice and the chef Jesse is superb, food is really good and I always have food to take home. I would definitely recommend this place to any and everyone!

The food is decent. (Not much for a vegan, but I've had their vegetable sushi roll). But it's the drinks and atmosphere (upstairs) that make this place. It's my "go to" place with my husband if we feel like getting out and not having a heavy meal.
We always get a great bartender who is attentive.
I love their cold moonstone sake -- absolutely the best!
