Mama's Hot Dogs

Wanted some takeout to eat during my lunch break and randomly discovered this place. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Everything is cooked to order and was fresh and delicious. I got the coney special and it was great, will definitely be back!

I had been meaning to try this out for a while and I am glad I did. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. I ordered a giant coney slaw dog and was not disappointed. My eyes were bigger than my appetite though. Bring your appetite here because they deliver enough to satiate that and then some!

If you enjoy a good hot dog, this is the place to be! I have a thing for good coney sauce, and theirs is outstanding! Their slaw is fantastic too. I can't wait to go back and try everything else. Not super cheap, but then what is these days? A workman is worth his wages, and these folks do a great job. Double thumbs up for a quick lunch to grab on the go, or sit and eat inside.

The giant coney dog was truly giant and tasted great. The spicy cole slaw was really good and would recommend it to anyone who likes spicy food.

Hot dogs were really good!!! So were the fries and potato salad. Cooked fresh and served nice and hot. I'm really mad that I haven't stopped here before. Will be back for sure. One note; toast the buns for the hot dogs. That will make them even better!!!!

New to OH and Googled “chili dogs near me”, and Mama’s was the first result, so I made a visit! So glad I did. The ladies there were very welcoming, and the chili dogs and fries I took to-go were delicious! A little different than I’m used to, but tasty nonetheless. I’ll definitely return, and next time I’ll bring friends!

A mom and pop kind of place. Got 2 coney dogs. The sauce was perfect. Lots of foot traffic. Small dining area. Will be back.

This little Akron ellet hot dog stand is the BEST HOT DOG CHILI DOG I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE!!! For real if you can check it out. Wash it all down with a grape Fanta too!!! They were absolutely amazing. They grill these dogs and the sauce

I came just before they open just a couple minutes I suggest waiting for them to get everything fresh and hot I did not like the chili sauce it has cardamom it if you don't like cardamom you won't like it I could be wrong but that's what I tasted but I like their cheese and their french fries and I love how they have very large beef hot dogs

Drive by all the time and finally gave it an order. Coney dog was pretty good. Fries are good with the seasoning on them and even better dipped in cheese. The steak Philly was delicious and the Mac n cheese reminded me of my mommas. Yum!

My local restaurant, my go too anytime I want a good burger or chilli cheese fries(loaded fries). There coney sauce is absolutely outstanding and they appreciate the heck out of returning customers. Started going to them around when they first opened and found them thru door dash. It’s amazing how fresh the food is and the quality is just as good. I have no complaints about this place at all ! Also the Mac and cheese is BOMB

Heck yes this is the place. Great staff. Small local, delicious. If you like dogs, you stop in. For realzies.

We finally stopped in today and we were not disappointed! I was so happy to learn they had vegan options. I got the vegan dog, my husband got a brat, and my parents got the coney dogs. So yummy! We paired it with delicious French fries and Mac and cheese. We can’t wait to come back!!

Cute little place. Go there - you will Love it! The best Mac-n-cheese I have ever tasted. I had the Coney dog with onions and mustard. Delicious!

This was the second time I have ate here. Absolutely amazing and reminds me of home (CLE native). Fresh to order with fresh ingredients. Both times I ordered a double cheeseburger with Mayo, pickle, onion. The cheese was perfectly melted…the onion and pickle were fresh. I also ordered a side of fries as well (which were absolutely better this time around). The fries are frozen, but were perfectly cooked with seasoning…and that cheese sauce! At heart I’m a FAT kid…I was full…but wanted more purely from taste. I can’t wait to try their dogs. On top of that the customer service was excellent, the guys working were extremely welcoming and friendly. Thank you for making a home sick guy smile!!

Came with my family of six and loved it! Owners were super nice, great smiles and great food. Giant Coney dog, hamburgers, vegan dogs, mac and cheese and awesome fries. Thanks for a great lunch and looking forward to coming back. If you are in the area, you got to stop, totally worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised! My first visit here, just got a cheddar brat and some potato salad, was really good. They have a nice size menu with various things from dogs to patty melts, to Phillys. I'll definitely go back and try other options. Staff is nice, place is really clean and organized also! Great little spot for lunch.

Mama's Hot Dogs is staffed by a group of great individuals who truly want to please the customers. All the sandwiches I have tried have been of great quality, & taste, at very reasonable prices. Their tomato soup is also very good. I can truly recommend this eatery.
