Bill Hwang Restaurant

I been there many time and ever time I visit the Akron Ohio.since some of the coustomer write very bad way about this business.
I never have a problem with them, if I don’t like something I always let them know they are very happy to make it right.front person or back in kitchen person.
Look like they just take over the business from previous owner so please help the new guy out.he is do his best and try to grow business and community up.

They are back open y'all the pandemic could not hold them close open better than ever the egg rolls are still to die for everything is made to order dine-in or carry-out

I’m so happy that Bill Hwangs is open for business again. I am very picky about my Chinese food and have not been able to find a restaurant that makes it the right way. Every other restaurant that I have been to has very soggy chicken. Not Bill Hwangs- theirs is fried and sauce put freshly on top so you still get the crispyness of the chicken. I asked for vegetable fried rice, and I actually got plenty of vegetables! Most other places will charge you extra and only give you two pieces of broccoli and no other vegetables at all! The only downside is that I have never been able to find anywhere that makes crab meat and cream cheese like Bill Hwangs used to do before they closed. And unfortunately, they’re not the same as they used to be. Hope they go back to the old recipe. But still, all in all, a fantastic meal.

I absolutely love it here, the food is amazing, the staff are just the most living of any restaurant I have ever been to, they have a buffet,all you can eat....it looks like a little hole in the wall but brave the waters cause it's so worth it, and the great thing is you get a card, get it punched every time you go and the tenth meal is free, always delicious and very affordable, love love love this place

First time there since they did away with the buffet. Everything was delicious and the service was great. My mom enjoyed it as well. We will be back.

Excellent meal ... and daily dine-in deal was a pleasant bonus!!! (Buy a combo, get 2nd one 1/2 price.) Nice to get to talk with owner - great guy!!! We WILL be back SOON!!!

Have gone here since I was 12yrs old, I'm now 50yrs so that should tell ya how I feel about this place. I've eaten at every Chinese joint around...Bill Hwangs is definitely #1! Their crab meat with cheese, steamed dumplings & sauce, egg rolls, rice, hot & sour soup, & chicken wings are off the chain!!!! No joke, you won't regret ordering from here!!!

I have ordered from just about every Chinese place in a 20 mile radius and this place has the BEST sweet and sour chicken. All the other restaurants just give you chicken and you have to dip it into the sauce. Bill Hwang not only has it smothered in sauce but it is loaded with green peppers, onions, and pineapple. I will never order from another Chinese restaurant again.

Bill Hwang has always had the absolute best chicken fried rice! Huge pieces of chicken! We've had others but they barely have meat and if they did, they were tiny cubed pieces. You have to try them!! Plus, I'm 45 and I've Always gone there since I was a kid. And every time we did try another place, we always regret it! The egg rolls are also great!

The foods not spectacular. The service is pretty good. But the food has always made me happy. Everytime I ever go in I'm always so much happier than when I walked in. It's a corner stone of my community and I love my billhawgs

These folks are going out of their way to provide outstanding food through the current pandemic. Quantities are generous, to say the least. Food is very tasty!!! Let's help keep our local businesses alive!

Small mom and pop place we've been going to for several years usually on Saturday evening when we're in town. Good food at a great price. The waitress remembers what we typically all order.

Growing up, this place was my sibling and I's favorite go to for Chinese food. We love their sweet and sour chicken! their egg rolls taste amazing. The general tso's is fantastic.

My Aunt and Uncle came to Bill Hwang's for many, many years. After my Aunt passed away, my Uncle continued to eat there regularly. In recent years our family would bring my Uncle to his favorite restaurant because he no longer drove. They knew exactly how he liked his tea. He recently passed away after 97 years on this earth and reunited with the love of his life and wife of 56 years but oh I know how he will miss their egg drop soup. Thank you to the staff for being so kind to my Uncle. Next time we come in to eat we will be getting a bowl of the egg drop soup in honor of my Uncle :)

Always friendly staff. Clean atmosphere. Tasty buffet. Everything was fresh and hot. Egg rolls are my favorite. So tasty. Reasonably priced.

At first I walked in and wasn't impressed visually but when we ordered and got our meals WOW. Beautiful platting and they give plenty of food. I'll definitely be here again with the whole family. Thanks

The absolute best Chinese food around! I have been eating here since a child and it is my first go to. They have the best sweet and sour chicken. Also their crab meat cheese are my favorite around.

General chows chicken, with lo mein 10/10

Great food under new management and the owner goes above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Definitely going back
