Although it may look rundown on the outside. Inside is quite clean and orderly. The cashiers are personable and this store has a very good selection of reasonably priced, good quality meats which sell out quickly. I have been shopping there for several years, since the new owners took over.

So nice to have a local grocery store with reasonable prices and well stocked shelves! Much more affordable than all the other high-end niche health foods stores in the area and surprisingly wide variety of ingredients available!

Best grocery in UES : not fancy, small and busy, but here you'll find all you need for half the price of a whole food or fair way, same price than a trader joe. Great asian product, good produce in general. Very nice employee

It is my market. Here I find everything I need . Fresh food, clean stores and nice staff makes me feel very comfortable and shop here mostly . This store one of the best in Manhatan.

This was my first time shopping at Food Universe Marketplace, I was most pleased with the items I bought.
I went in to buy 2 things, but they had a few sales item, that I wound up shopping for more than I anticipated.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s a great supermarket. Decent prices on most items and nice on sale also. Staff is mostly nice. No issues at this supermarket.

Store very clean and well organized. The employee's are polite and helpful. I will shop there more often and I will tell others glad that they are in my neighborhood

i honestly love this place, the staffs and workers here are really nice and respectful unlike some places, they treat me with respect and their bagels are really good and fresh which is like yay, u know. the prices are reasonable too!

Great finds if you look for it. One of the “go to” supermarkets in the neighborhood for food basics in a great price. Little small, but easy to navigate.Nice people too!

I was in the area and I had shop there several times before even though it's out of my way. It's convenient when I go to Metropolitan hospital, and they have a nice variety of food products.

I always go to this market that have all everything. also clean and tidy market and price is pretty cheap.
