Hillcrest Family Restaurant

My favorite place to get breakfast in Kenosha. It's a true greasy spoon diner spot. It's nothing fancy but hits the spot like perfect comfort breakfast food.

Always a great breakfast experience food always cooked perfect , service is always five stars... actually better than that! Menu choices are great, breakfast and lunch. Always say I'm going to try lunch here but the breakfast is so good I never have yet. Never had a bad meal here or bad service you can't go wrong with Hillcrest! My daughter's even go here cuz I know it's going to be great.
Well went here later today and even though all the lunch specials looked great...I still got breakfast... Which service was great again everything was cooked perfectly can't say enough about this place except the parking lots a little iffy

It was a great experience! The 1/2 pound burger, fries and Pepsi were all excellent. Our server went above and beyond to give us great service at the table. Food and service like that will definitely make me a regular customer.

I took my grandchildren for breakfast and they had a ball. The staff were very attentive and treated them like royalty. I love it. And they make a mean steak!!

Restaurant was great everyone was super friendly..I didn't catch the young ladies names up front but they was so sweet friendly and very attentive Had the 1/2 burger it was made correctly to what I order and it was delicious

Parking lot looked full. Was seated right away. If food was delicious. Girl cleaning tables after customers left was very thorough.

Great food! The Cowboy burger was HUGE and quite tasty while the Monte Cristo was equally so. Definitely returning to try something else!

Been going here for years, honest pricing, great service, really good food. I’d go here over a few overrated places downtown any day. Plus, you leave not smelling like a grease trap which is a bonus in and of itself!

See my UPDATE below. Hillcrest seemed to be on its way down. They cut their hours (now only breakfast and lunch) and discontinued their Senior Menu as well as their loyalty program.

Still, they have great food at reasonable prices.

UPDATE: Hillcrest seems to have survived what I thought was a bad business decision. Seems to be going strong. Try the (huge) Hillcrest omelette - maybe split it with a companion. Or try their delicious fruit crepes. My favorites are blueberry and strawberry. (HINT: ask 'em to warm the fruit.)
BONUS: (for me at least) I like my bacon crisp and the Hillcrest cooks truly know how to prepare bacon that way! 🥓🥓

Some of the best food around, staff is super friendly and always makes sure food is delivered correctly. And very military friendly as they do offer a veterans and active duty discount.

Fast, efficient. Hashbrowns were crispy. Eggs were right. Pancakes were good.

One of the 1st places I had a chance to eat at on Mother's day 2013. Great place to get Biscuits and gravy!
