Tenuta's Italian Restaurant

We ordered takeout for a sit-down dinner at home with some old friends. The order was ready on time and the food was fantastic. We had the lasagna, and it did not disappoint. We also had the brushetta and a side order of meatballs. Everything was really great. I can't wait to come back. We also love the grocery store.

Best Italian beef I've ever had. In fact, this is one of the only two restaurants that I've had since moving here a year ago that have been PHENOMENAL!
The thin crust pizza is amazing, it hits your soul every time! The delivery driver is fast and courteous, and the staff are all so passionate!

we most often do carry out here. excellent place for local recipe delicious pizza. in our case today it was ordering far advance and using pizzas in later day hours after early restaurant close to feed many on Christmas Eve. They will easily cook pizzas either no-cut half done (for later oven finishing at home) as well as "well done" so cheese is nicely browned and crust (many options but we like thin cracker crust best) is amazingly crispy finish. Their fresh cheeses used as topping is part we always enjoy. Service window is always as fast as they can be as it is often backed up with those of us picking up orders.
We've had other menu including lasagna (excellent compared to other local), fish and pastas during prior dining room visits. Have nice dining room drink specials at certain afternoon times. Food is tasty & well done. There is often some left to take home.

Really a surprising gem in an unassuming area. A nugget, or a diamond in the rough. And speaking of diamond, Selena who usually mixes the drinks, it was her last day today ☹

Very astute young lady and a great conversationalist besides being a skilled Mixologist. My Wife really enjoyed her creations. That being said, my Chicken Parmesan was wonderful, the Calamari was delicious and not overly breaded or greasy. The Marinara sauce along with the tartar sauce was fantastic. My wife's Shrimp Scampi was very good, it's a different take on the Scampi, not full of bread crumbs and greasy butter. Much healthier and delicious. The Hard Lemonade that Selena made my wife, was really one of the better drinks she said that she's had. I would recommend anyone stopping for lunch or dinner, and the prices were more than competitive.

Also, the bathrooms were spotless, and that always relates to the rest of the facility.

Incredible food and service, will be back! Bread and salad came with our pasta dishes. Delicious food, large portions, and great deals. Waitress was amazing as well!

My friend and I had lunch today at the restaurant and we both agreed the meal was Excellent! The tomato sauce over the ravioli was wonderful!👌🥰

We always get seats at the bar for quicker service. I love their Pino Grigio- WOODMAN'S carries it, too ♥

I grew up in Chicago and I'm so glad I moved to Kenosha. This place is awesome! Tenutas knows pizza. Fantastic service . Great authentic pizza. Great delivery. Just great!

Hands down the best Calzone I've ever had, and I grew up in Chicago! Flakey crust, like a puffed pastry instead of a pizza folded in half. Made me forget how much I loved their bread too! Our server, Lisa, obviously loves working here. I thought she was an owner or family! Do glad I found this place!

Enjoyed this little restaurant so much. Of our party of five, three had the Friday fish special, one had cheese ravioli and one had a calzone. We all enjoyed our meals so much! The fish, fried cod, was very lightly breaded and tasted fresh and wonderful! The ravioli and calzone were very large portions and deliciously homemade. The homemade Italian loaf was hot, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Kenosha.

Ordered delivery, a half hour later the pizza was delivered, very hot and great taste. The Italian potatoes could use a bit more seasoning but still very good. Great service, great food. Will definitely order from them again.

Great food at a very fair price! Service was excellent, and proportions of food will fill you up, and you may have some to take home and enjoy! Kind of hidden in a strip mall, this restaurant is worth finding, as it is a precious gem.

Met friends for dinner. We had wonderful food, with the best waitress, Lisa. She was knowledgeable about menu and was able to answer questions, very attentive, with a great sense of humor. Four of us for dinner -- one fish fry, one lasagne, one meatball sandwich, one steak sandwich, cheesecake and cannoli for dessert. Every entree was delicious. Great minestrone soup.
Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely delicious! I stopped going to "OG" because the food had lost its taste and portions had downsized a lot. Decided to try Tenuta's and glad I did! Sauce was superb! Delicious!! Tried the combo dinner for 2 and have enough for 2 more meals! I live on the North side and delivery was quick and food was hot when arrived. Highly recommend!

Our waitress was super nice though and attended us well. The food was also really good. The pizza, the cod, the hot wings, everything! Pretty big portions for a decent amount of money. There are definitely cheaper places but it wasn't super expensive or anything. I recommend this place, just be patient.

I guess their food isn't photogenic or else the other reviewers are terrible at food pictures because I almost didn't go because the food in some of the review pictures makes their food look boring and old fashioned. Well THE PHOTOS ARE WRONG! Food was delicious, creative, high quality, and was priced in such a way that makes me think that they somehow dodged inflation. Maybe they have a pre-inflation stockpile of tomatoes, semolina, and house chianti??? Seriously though, this place is really good. Cheers!

Great food and service! We've ordered delivery a bunch of times. All their Italian dishes are delicious and pizza is great too. They catered for my son's 1st birthday party -they delivered and set up everything. Food was perfect! All my guests loved the food too!
