Cute place with a great brunch menu! Stumbled upon this place and loved that they had outdoor tables, cozy indoor tables and a charming back garden room. The baked goods looked amazing but I had self control after I was stuffed from my huevos ranchero so I had self control but was tempted by the really yummy looking baked goods. My sister had the corn flake chicken and waffles and really enjoyed it with plenty leftover for another lunch. I would definetely go back next time I’m in the area.

It's a true crime that I have taken this long to post a review when I held my sister's bridal shower here and requested to have my own here lol the moment I found Le Petit Cafe I knew I would always recommend it. The entire venue is breathtaking, I found out it's a family business and the owner designed it himself. I can rant about it all day so let me give some key points:

-There is a room separate from the restaurant that you can hold smaller events (showers, book clubs, etc.)
-The main restaurant is whimsical and gorgeous, you can also hold small weddings and parties in that area.
-The food is amazing.
-The staff is so kind and welcoming, the waiter at my bridal shower was laughing along with us and felt like part of our tribe that day (and yes they do assign a waiter just for that room, so no need to worry about your waiter being preoccupied with the restaurant).
-You do not have to spend to decorate. Unless you want balloons, the space is already designed so well that adding too much would overwhelm it.
-For my bridal shower, the owner included fresh flowers for each table, I believe he does this just because he loves to. A staff member told me they always have flowers arranged at the restaurant tables as well.
-Outside cakes are welcome however, the owners family member(I think his niece) makes cakes and desserts for an additional cost so no need to find another vendor or worry about desserts being delivered or put on display. She sets up the dessert display herself.
-DJ's are allowed, however, we just plugged our phone into the system and played music that way.
-Bonus: There is a TV in the small event room where you can hook up videos to play (for my shower they played a video from my mother in law who lives out of the country, for my sisters shower I played a slideshow of her pictures).

I attached any videos and photos I had from both events we held at the space, if you're thinking about this for an event especially a bridal shower you will not be disappointed. Take a visit, have some brunch and speak to the owner or his niece, you won't regret booking this place.

We had a family celebration in a private dining room they recently opened next to their main dining area. Beautifully decorated and quietly separated from their main areas. The food us superb. The pene a la vodka was a real treat. My wife and I had hanger steak with mashed potatoes and just a hint if onions. The steak was exceptionally flavorful and the greenbeans were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of snap. The mashed potatoes weren't overly fancy, just a good consistency and flavor that could be eaten without adding anything else to them. The salad was also excellent with a terrific balsamic dressing. The staph was very attentive and friendly. You got the impression they really cared about the food and your enjoyment of the entire experience. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful gem! I took the family for brunch on a Tuesday. Everything was exceptional from the cappuccinos to service and meals. The atmosphere was equally beautiful.

Had a rather inattentive server but the food was great, and the atmosphere is really cool. A hidden gem.

The most beautiful cafe and garden restaurant. Although we didn’t get to dine since we were on a time crunch and they were preparing for dinner, we had a delightful interaction with the owner and bought the most amazing chocolate croissants and blueberry muffins. Spent a short while in the cafe and we absolutely loved it. Will definitely be going again.

Amazing hidden gem!! I never expected to walk to the back of such a cute cafe and see such a beautiful scene.
Along with the beautiful decor, the service and food were good, passion fruit mimosas were excellent and my overall brunch experience was super enjoyable. I'll be going back when in NY again.

Beautiful whimsical spot that makes you forget you are in the city. The decor has gorgeous and has little eye catching owls everywhere. This is a cute date spot to get the conversation going with good food! I highly recommend there steak and eggs, steak over enchiladas and salmon Benedict! If you have room, definitely get the crème brûlée or lava cake! They were light, melt in your mouth desserts that just hit the spot!

Love this place. Feels like a sanctuary. Everything is crisp and pristine. The environment and ambiance engulfing and tantalizing. The food is superb and the service is paramount. Tommy the owner is family so I always manage to drop in when I visit from Orlando. It’s the most beautiful restaurant ever. If you ever have time in Brooklyn- drop in. You’re going to LOVE it

This was my first corn flake crusted chicken and waffles and wont be my last. Crazy flavorful. Atmosphere was so calming felt like I was eating brunch in a botanical garden. The cream of broccoli soup warmed my soul. Service was really friendly and food came out fast.

As an eggs Florentine connoisseur i am writing this review to say I’ve just had the best one of my life! I’ve had them all over the world, many in this neighborhood and many times here before. And I’ve never been disappointed here but for some reason this one was firing on all cylinders. Every single element was cooked to perfection rendering every bite a perfect taste and texture explosion down to the last drop! I did add salt and freshly squeezed lemon juice but it was cooked perfectly!

The place is simply amazing! Tree's branches with birds inside the cafe, flowers, Buddha, and little waterfall. Candles on tables in birchwood holders. Food is great, and staff is lovable. Definitely recommended. Just keep cash ready, they don't accept credit cards. Also they closed from 4 to 5 pm

We were down the block awaiting seating at another establishment with similar ratings to Le Petit Cafe when I decided that 45 minutes was gonna be too long. So I searched on G.maps again and noticed this was just up the block. I have to say they had me at hello.

The views from the display cases in the front to the beautifully appointed rustic patio in the back of the house made the experience a lot more than just about the food.

Our server Jerry was Johnny-on-the-spot, or in his case Jerry-on-the-spot, and never skipped a beat on any of the tables he served.

The food was served hot, fresh and to order. My Amaretto French Toast was delicious, to say the least, and when I asked for maple syrup it was delivered warm and in a small single serve carafe.

There was a steady stream of patrons, from all walks of life, that gave the place a wonderfully diverse & energetic buzz. This is on the list for top places for breakfast & brunch, and I will return to try their lunch & dinner offerings. #LetsGuide #Reco100 #RecoveringKnowItAll

Really great place, I first came here over three years ago and decided to see if it was still around. I was happy to find it here still and still love it. There was a small wait for a seat because we came during lunch hour. The tables have a comfortable space between them and it didn't feel crowded. We ordered the french toast and eggs Benedict.

Wait staff was friendly and nice, but they could use an extra person around brunch, lunch time. Takes some time to get hold of someone to request silverware or refill on coffee, etc. Chicken and waffles was delicious!
