Great date night spot and drinks. Wide negroni selection. Kitchen was busy but food came out fast. Nice intimate and jazzy music atmosphere. The food was amazing and octopus app blew me away. Definitely returning.

I am on vacation from California and came here tonight for the very first time and I was beyond impressed! The food here was EXCELLENT!! As someone who is Italian and travels regularly to Italy every year, the food here made me feel like I was over there in Italy. The food at Montesacro is 100% AUTHENTIC. The service here was also EXCELLENT! The staff were very friendly and helpful and I also liked the restaurant itself as well. It is very clean and inviting. I liked the decor. Was very elegant and felt warm which I liked. You can tell the owner has a lot of pride in their food and restaurant. It really shows. This place has to be one of the BEST Italian restaurants I have ever been to!! It really is that good and if you are in New York and want true, genuine Italian food with a fine dining experience that is reasonable. This is DEFINITELY the place!!

Montesacro is a gem that consistently delivers top-tier experiences. The food is exquisite, the service impeccable, and the ambience sets the perfect tone. My best friend even chose it for her wedding—a testament to our deep love for this establishment. The staff's warm greetings and attentive care make every visit memorable, they have become like a second family almost! I will never get enough of this place 🤤

One of the best Italian restaurants i’ve ever been to. Food and service were top notch. We had a ton of food between 6 people for a birthday and the bill came out to ~$118 per person including paying for the birthday girl. Highlights: the ribeye and my strip steak, the duck ravioli pasta, the affogato dessert

Had a 10/10 meal here! Everything we ordered was delicious; started with the beef tartar and baby artichoke appetizers, and shared the bufalotta pinsa and angolotti. The enclosed garden in the back was cutely decorated and bright from the natural light coming in from the glass ceiling, and was the perfect balance of cozy and spacious. Highly recommend!

Wonderful restaurant! The food is great, everything we ordered was delicious. Our waiter was super sweet and helpful with the menu item choices. Lucky discovery - yummy food, cozy atmosphere. Definitely our new favorite.

came here for a mon dinner, the interior was very nice, especially at night - nice ambience! the service was kind and quick too. we ordered 4 items, which were all delicious! highly recommend their margarita and casal bertone pizza :).

We got place to sit here even when I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant has two sections. The semi outdoorsy green section is where we got the place. Love the ambience - plants, lights, and sunlight 🥹.
We ordered aperol and elektra for drinks which were good. Cacio de pepe was good and so was the pizza that we ordered. I have eaten better pasta but surely not a disappointment.

Beautiful place with excellent food and service. Would love to take guests here again or enjoy a dinner solo. We say at the bar on a busy night and were able to get seating right away. But the back has a gorgeous atrium that I’d love to dine at as well. The bartender was fantastic with recommendations and escorted us through our whole dining experience there

Very understated decor. We sat in the garden. It had a lovely opening roof and it was a pleasant spring day. So perfect atmosphere from that respect, just not fancy.
We started with carciofi, which was really well done and exquisite. A very tasty, fresh basil sauce with the artichoke. Amazing.
We had the fava bean appetizer with fresh ricotta and fennel. Delicate flavors and a very light dish.
The "Suppli" was a delicate but deep fried rice croquette that just melted in your mouth.
The pizzas (Pinsas) were special in their own way, made with the local specialty crust made by this restaurant. It's a delicious but unusual texture that has quite a bit of body and flavor.
We finished with panna cotta which was so delicately light and melted in your mouth. You felt like you didn't eat anything except for the delicious flavor remnant.
Would definitely go back and sample other pizzas, excuse me, Pinsas!

Incredible, can't say enough about the pinsa. Crust uses a unique blend of flour that allowed me to eat a ton of food without feeling overly full. Pasta and appetizers were also delicious, and the back garden was a beautiful eating spot. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the food, and our waitress was very kind.

My girlfriend, Daughter, & I were in for our New Years Eve Dinner at 730p. We were sat pretty quickly and absolutely loved the atmosphere both in the bar area and the back dining room.

We enjoyed every aspect of our experience! Service was top notch and food was excellent. We had the focaccia as well as prosciutto e burrata to start. All delicious. Then the girls got the margherita and portonaccio pinsas which they couldn’t stop raving about. I had the bistecca which was in the top 3 steak entrees I’ve ever had. Cooked a perfect medium rare, paired with an amazing potato gallette and topped with an out of this world salmoriglio, that put to shame any “chimichurri” I’ve tasted.

Dessert was delicious- we shared the affogato which was utterly wonderful!!

I had the black Negroni and the girls enjoyed a couple glasses of wine that they really liked.

Again, we had a great experience and highly recommend MONTESACRO!! We will be back..a two hour drive will not keep us away from returning this spring.

Delicious!! Great for a special occasion dinner. Had the paloma negroni, grilled octopus, lamb pasta, squid ink pasta, chicken (so crispy and flavorful!), the fish, and panna cotta (so smooth). Garden area is lovely!

Delicious Roman style food !
Great service and atmosphere. We didn’t have reservations and our server got us a spot in the backyard garden (which is great) but it was a weekday night (still plenty of costumers). Usually is packed during the weekends.
We started with Zucca fritta, pretty good squash tempura style. Crispy and freshly made.
Pasta and Pinsa:
Paccheri alla vaccinara, oxtail short rib ragu with a burnt wheat pasta, this was delicious.
My partner and his sister had them cacio e pepe, pretty good. Keep in min that the portions are not that big for sharing so we ordered to pinsas. I added the pictures, both were so good !

I had an amazing experience at Montesacro Brooklyn! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with cozy seating and beautiful decor. Found this restaurant last minute because our first option was closed, and so happy I did! There was a burrata and corn ravioli special with the most beautiful rainbow gradient of tomatoes that was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend had the lamb rigatoni and the lamb was cooked to PERFECTION. Perfect score for both meals. To top it off, the front of the location is very small and unassuming, a cute little bar on the wall, but the waiter will lead you to the most beautiful back garden/greenhouse area with ambient lighting and a warm atmosphere. Overall, a great experience and would recommend to everyone.

This place is a secret gem. The food is incredible. Get the focaccia bread!!! Our waitress Suzanna was sooooooo sweet and very thorough, even repeated back our orders to make sure no mistakes would occur. We loved our food. We sat in the garden which has a pretty cool roof which opens and closes. We know this because it began to rain while we were there so they closed it. The atmosphere is cozy and inspiring for conversations. "Definitely our new favorite place" said our visiting in laws.
