Tokarz Family Diner

This is my first visit. I had a breakfast sandwich and hash browns. Delicious. Oh and the coffee was delicious too. Nice clean restaurant and the waitress was friendly. I loved my visit and look forward to going again.

Beautiful diner near downtown Lyons. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly, homemade sausage, and the flavor of the hash browns was fantastic. Great experience.

We will be back for the Sunday buffet!

Tokarz Diner is just like being home. You can grab a coffee, get some food and have some of the best conversations with Amy, Todd, Lisa and Tina! It has that country home kitchen feel and the food is from the heart! If you catch Todd talking about his creations, he just LIGHTS up! Everyone treats you like family here too. I bump into other entrepreneurs and neighbors here too which always makes my day and it is great to have a place to meet up with my women's group. I frequently come by just to say hello, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy their company!

We saw this little place and decided we would give it a try! So glad we did!!! Very clean, so homey and welcoming. The food and service was great. So a cute little diner! We will definitely drive from Canandaigua to eat there again!!

We were in town to shop at a particular store. We went there on a suggestion of one of the associates.
We were not disappointed. We both ordered the cheeseburgers and fries. It was delicious!! The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back again.

Our first time there was last Friday (9/29/2023) we had the Trolley Special which I quickly loved because typically homefries come with just onions. Here you get onions AND peppers! Yum. Everything right down to the coffee was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was a sweetheart. We will definitely be back at some point.

Pulled in right as they were opening. I enjoy being the first customer and having all the attention. The service was outstanding, and I wish I was hungry enough for the buffet. Definitely a little gem in a small town. I will definitely be back.

Super nice service. Good home-cooked food, and they try to stay local with their ingredients, which I really appreciate. Very friendly, excellent dinner specials on Friday nights, it's like a family dinner (meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy!). I have had a bunch of breakfasts there: the potatoes are great, cheese omelets excellent - they get their eggs nice and fluffy. Sometimes they have homemade sausage and gravy, can't wait to try. I think they do a good takeout business too.

Absolutely love the atmosphere there it is extremely child friendly! Ordered a hotdog order of fries an order of Mac salad for my two children to split it was more than enough to fill both of them with leftovers at the extraordinarily reasonable price of $10

Warm friendly staff and owners. All food is freshly made. And best of all, prices are extremely reasonable. This is a small place, so make sure you call ahead for reservations. Breakfast is wonderful - daily specials, homemade sausage, great eggs, pancakes, french toast, hashbrowns as you like them, plain, with onions, or peppers, and from fresh potatoes. Dinner every Friday night - roast chicken, roast pork, pasta, homemade sides. Street parking is convenient.

Food was excellent, owner took the time to explain some of the history of the building (awesome!), and everyone was friendly and courteous.

Tokarz is a "winner winner Chicken dinner". Don't expect glamour or intimate dining. Do expect friendly service and great food. This is a family diner, with the whole family involved. A recent meal of pork loin was fantastic, moist tender, nicely flavored, with side choices of green beans, mac and cheese, sausage cornbread stuffing, and roasted potatoes. And enough room left over for homemade desserts. Hope they have the chocolate cream pie one night you are there. My husband beat me to the last bite. The crust was brownie-like dark chocolate, just to add another boost to the already chocolicious filling. Their entrees and desserts are all made on site. Our party of 8 took home as many extra sides as we ordered. They even prepared a vegetarian entree when they knew one of our party did not eat meat. They serve dinner on Friday nights starting at 4 PM, perfect for dinner and then a movie at the Ohmann theater. Breakfast is next for me. I know I'm in for a treat.

Update March 2023: The same good food in a wonderful new setting. Great to have Tokarz Diner and Deana's Delights in the same space. Can't help getting a sweet for home after a great meal.

Had the pork plate. Pork on texas toast with honey bourbon bbq sauce with fries. It was delicious. Owners are extremely accommodating. Meal was so good, didn't get a chance to take a photo of it. 😊

Amazing food and people. I don't think I've ever had eggs as good as they were from here! Family owned and operated. Was nice to see a real family Diner.

We made a day trip to Lyons and we’re so glad we found this restaurant. The food was delicious and the people all so friendly!!!
