Canal View Family Restaurant

Very nice place. My wife got the fried shrimp - I haven’t seen this many shrimp on a plate since the last time we went to Miller’s Ale House. I got the buffalo chicken wrap and fries - good spice with the sauce, good fries. The restaurant looks brand new inside and the bathrooms are immaculate. Service was wonderful. We will be back next time we’re in the area.

My son had the fish fry and I had the chicken parmesan, which includes one trip to the salad bar. It was excellent food and a great value for your money. Would definitely go back again

Wanted a relaxing and casual dinner with family. The perfect spot to get a sandwich and fries are great. Chicken fingers were delicious and warm too.

This restaurant is wonderful! The place is clean and the staff is very personable. The food is always exactly as ordered, comes nice and hot, and always tastes great! Definitely would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a bite to eat!!!

I had the best omelet I have ever had! It was amazing! The service was excellent and prices are very reasonable. Tge restaurant was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend!

I heard there is new ownership, not sure if that's true, but this is my new favorite restaurant! The staff is amazing and the food is great! I love their fish fries (which they have every.single.day!) and their creamy Italian salad dressing. Whenever I order takeout, it has never taken longer than 15 minutes. This is a perfect "hometown diner" but better!

Canal View is one of those little secrets that you just have to try. All of their food is amazing. The servers and hostesses are some of the nicest and sweetest people you'll ever meet and, after even a few visits, they already remember my name and most of my order. Top notch food and service across the board!!

Omg the food is so good! Got the chicken parm sandwich with garlic fries and mozzarella sticks. And the husband got the BLT club. He loved his food too.

So, I am highly critical when is comes to restaurants, especially local ones. Last time I was here I had a huge breakfast and was very happy. It’s diner food at its finest. Came in today with the wife and baby. I got a perfectly cooked and well seasoned burger and the soup of the day. It was a beef noodle soup that very well may be the best bowl of soup I’ve ever had. Dammed impressed. Well done folks!!!

Friendly staff! Environment was clean and inviting. Got seated quickly. First booth that was offered the staff noticed that the table was quite a ways away from the seats. We had two small children with us she recognized that it maybe difficult for them to reach the table. I commented on how cold I was, I believe that AC was turned down because after a bit I felt quite comfortable. Food came out quickly and was very good diner food. Well done everyone! My husband and I have decided we would come again.
