First time visit as we were passing through and were in the mood for club sandwiches. Both the turkey and ham variants were very good as were the double-fried French fries. It wasn't busy so our service was great from the lone waitress, Barb. Yes, they do have a robot named Suzie.

Great diner! Very extensive menu and you can get breakfast all day! Would recommend Cross Park to anyone looking for a great restaurant!

Server was great. Dine In. Meal portions are reasonable, which makes their prices really good. Entire family finished their meals and felt full but not overly stuffed. Food taste was great even for a dinner style restaurant. We will definitely go here more often.

Server was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the prime rib, and it was cooked perfectly. The server checked on me multiple times, and the to-go cheese steak sandwich I also ordered was brought out at an appropriate time, and was completely delicious when I warmed it up the following day.
Desserts looked amazing, but the dinner completely filled me up and then some.
Bathroom was clean and fresh smelling, as well as having a wheelchair accessible stall.

Small town feel but huge value. This place has incredible food for dine in and take out. The fish fry is a must and dont skip the desserts, they are amazing. Quick and friendly service... we did take out but ordered and walked out with food in only about 15 minutes... fresh and hot with hearty portions. Will be back soon!

My husband and I ventured to Newark from Waterloo and the trip was well worth it! Best Prime Rib and Veal around! The staff was attentive, pleasant, and quick. Our meals came fast and were very generous portions! Compliments to the Chef! Our waitress Elizabeth was pretty awesome too! The Lyons Family has found our new favorite Restaurant!

We had the best waitress ever. She understood the challenges of dining with young children and was very gracious. The food was delicious, as usual. They have a wide variety of choices on their menu, and I have never been disappointed in my several visits there. We had fish fry, chicken alfredo, pancakes, hot dog, and chicken gyros. The kids dinners came with ice cream!

Service is good. It doesn't require a reservation like some restaurants, and the wait is short. I got the fish haddock and loaded baked potatoes, and by the end, I still had enough for tomorrow. Great quality, and I hope you check it out.

Food was excellent. It usually is. The order was messed up, but they "made it right". Everything else was good.

Took my mom here for Easter. She enjoyed her London Broil meal in the pleasant atmosphere of this family restaurant. Service was prompt and our waitress was attentive throughout our meal. Wish we'd saved room for one of the luscious looking desserts. Maybe next time, I'm sure we will return again soon.

Always one of our favorite "go-to" restaurants! Super friendly service and food is delicious no matter what you order! Very reasonable prices. We've been customers for over 20 years and really missed them while closed for Covid. They have the best most tasty fish fry around!

Go here often. Great service, good food and good prices. Portions are huge! Eggs Benedict with hash browns and onions are to die for. Several choices but I always get the one with the olives...can't remember the specific name.
