Delicious cake and pops! Our theme was “ONE in a melon” for our daughters birthday party! Cake and smash cake came out beautiful and full of flavor (almond)! The cake pops were a hit as well and perfect for little ones! Family owned business we love supporting!

We've been customers for nearly fifty years! Birthday cakes, donuts, balish, cinnamon rolls and breads are all WONDERFUL! This Christmas check out their beautiful window displays. They have been in business since 1898!

This is a little hidden treasure in downtown Painesville off the square. It is very reminiscent of old time bakeries. I ordered and purchased a birthday cake and everyone enjoyed it. They are very accommodating to your requests here. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Hard to leave there without purchasing a treat to eat on the way home .Highly recommend.

We had a Christmas in July party and ordered from another bakery a week in advance. They called us the day before to let us know they could not do the cookies. I called Gartman's and spoke with Brittany to ask if there was any chance they would be able to do 60 Christmas cookies in such a short notice. Without hesitation she took care of us! The cookies were delicious and the staff amazing, from ordering to pick-up! I highly recommend Gartman's as they are my families go-to place for cakes and now cookies too!! Thank you all for your exceptional customer service and delicious treats!

Hands down, this bakery has the best Balish in town (otherwise known as Kolaczki) call at least 24 hours in advance to order your favorite flavors or buy a mixture by the dozen when you walk into the store. Delicious!!

Last week was disappointed with the Pazcki from "that bakery in Eastlake"... came to Gartmans Yesterday for Pazcki and omg!!! The pazcki was packed with filling, tasted fantastic! Dough was moist on the inside slightly crispy on the outside, perfection.. I also want to mention everyone was super nice! I love this little hometown bakery!

Called yesterday to see if they made poppyseed and nut roll they have them both ; I picked up four the price was responsible and the service was great I will be definitely be using them again thank you Gartman's Bakery for a great experience !

Wonderful family owned bakery! They gave been in business for many years! Everything they make is first class! Been a customer for many years. Their cakes, pies and donuts are the best in our area in my opinion.

Gartman's Bakery always has a delectable selection of donuts, cakes, cookies, and pies. They have wonderful costumers service as well. You can call ahead your order and it will be ready on time for you to pick it up. I would suggest getting there early (before 1pm) as they sell out quickly of the days offerings.

Have been frequenting Gartman's for what seems like eons! They have supplied vast dozens of donuts for meetings and crew at various jobs and cakes for special events. By far their best donuts are the Bacon Maple ones topped with a full crisp slice of bacon! Also if you like to dunk a treat in that morning coffee - try the crispy cinnamon toast - so sweet! It will make your morning.

Great cakes and cookies. Bought our Wedding cake from them in 1999. Been buying our Anniversary cakes from them over the years. Personal and professional.

My mother went here as a child. Our choices for treats were delicious. Also, ordered cupcakes for my daughters' wedding shower.
