Joughin Hardware

Well the 1st time I went there in was kinda lost because the store has so many different areas but the people that work there took me on a little tour of the store and I was able to get what I wanted and at a fair price unlike some of the other hardware stores that I have been in. And now when I go there they greet me by my name and I have no problem finding what I am looking for plus I must say that this hardware store has some really cool old and I mean old school tools and other stuff as well. I love the store and the people are awesome.

I wish I could give more stars as this is a honest too goodness fantastic old fashion friendly hardware store. The staff is friendly and helpful owner works in the store, all have a great knowledge of how to fix most of your household problems. They have paint and stains ,plumbing and hardware,tools and equipment too make sure you do a good job. Air filters to face masks . Up on the second floor work boots and shoes plus Carhart and Walls ,clothing good stuff that last and works as hard as you do

The best hardware store I have ever been to. Modern tools and goods, with a historic feel to the building. That was before I knew that there were multiple floors with merchandise. Great group of employees, they always have a smile for the guests.

If you need it, they have it. Friendly staff and an easy place to get stuff. Reminds me of what a hardware store is supposed to be.

This place is like stepping back I'm time. Super friendly and helpful staff and I haven't gone in there and them not have what I need. If you're looking for 1 or 2 bolts and nuts with washers support this local business.

Needed to fix a leaky faucet, no problem they had just what I needed. And the help is very good.

Deceptively large interior with virtually EVERYTHING you need for your hardware needs. Three floors! Staff is extremely helpful and will point you in right direction even if it doesn’t mean an extra sale. They put customers first!

After going around to six or seven stores a Plumbing person working at Loew's told me about this place and it was my last place to go. If they didn't have it I was going to give up and leave my water ionizer in the basement instead of moving it to the kitchen. They had the right part. I am so grateful to Joughin Hardware. 20 miles away but would return in a second because I am sure they will be able to help with any of my plumbing projects

Had to stop in there for some screws for a project as referred from a friend of mine. Place was amazing for never being there I was dumbfounded with how you just step back in time. Highly recommend it to anybody I was only there for a brief period and due to needing to get back to a project I rushed out of there, had I not pushed myself I may have spent an entire day there. The employees are all very friendly and it's almost like a family atmosphere with the old timers cracking jokes, the cashier cracking them right back, and the guy that helped me find what I was looking for. I will definitely be back and give you guys five stars! Thanks for taking me back in time...

Best hardware store I've ever been to. You never know what you might find in this place. Excellent customer service. Huge selection of Carhartt clothing, work boots, gloves and winter hats.

This is one of the largest hardware stores in the area. While they are an ACE franchise (with the typical Ace Hardware stock) they do carry a lot of older "non-Ace" inventory, so if you have a house with older windows and plumbing you can still get what you need here. Friendly, fairly knowledgeable staff.... again, better than you would expect from an Ace franchise.

Experienced staff helped me with a variety of questions from gardening to bathroom repairs. Highly recommended and will go here over the big superstores

Great local hardware store.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! They had exactly the hardware that I was looking for. Every time I go it has never been disappointing. So much better service than from the big box stores. With the loss of Ace Hardware, it's nice to know that Joughin's is still in business. Please support our local hardware stores as much as we can!

I like this place they have just about anything you can think of in hardware but it's not cheap

Such a cool place to visit! Took the kids, and was given popcorn while we explored. Husband found the hardware he needed, and we had a blast checking out all four floors. The place is not only interesting and has historical coolness, but they seem to have everything. Employees were kind and helpful, and readily available to help us find things. Great experience all around!

Thus place is so cool! Old school, 100+ years old, hardware store with modern equipment. Basement area shows what real construction is. Upstairs there is a small "museum" that houses a variety of items from the old days. Several cool antiques and vintage items to see. Support local, small businessea.

One of my favorite places to shop.
About two years ago my wife and I reevaluated where we spend our money, and decided to do a few things. First cut out Amazon. Second kill off Walmart, Third buy local whenever possible.
I now shop exclusively at Joughin Hardware unless they don't have what I need when I need it - this is rarely the case. I also find that their prices are not much more than Lowe's or Home Depot and are often lower. Customer service is way better as the people working here actually know something about the products they sell and what the products are used for.
