Lovely bakery with great tasting pastries. Would recommend the pistachio chocolate croissant - it was delicious! The other croissants were really good as well. Will come back and sit down and have brunch next time as lots more to try out! Overall tastes great.

Super aesthetic cafe with good food and treats. My friend also hosted a brunch at another location once and it was great as well. Had a really nice back garden area.

Beautiful aesthetic makes this bakery/cafe a gem. My friend and I had coffees and shared the handmade “Oreo” cookie. Simply delicious. Great place to enjoy the ambience and chat with a friend.

Got the pastries and the waffle hashbrowns with smoked salmon, which were good. Coffee's from Toby's. Pretty fast servife, friendly staff.

One of my favorite bakeries I've experienced. There is no wifi. The pastries are well executed, especially the pan au chocolat. The inside is cute and inviting. I really appreciate the patio. This is a great spot for just a few friends or to have a casual day date. The surrounding area is nice to walk around so great to put on a walking itinerary.

A beautiful little cafe. I felt like I was transported straight to Paris. Quiet, warm and cozy atmosphere. Super friendly staff. I would definitely come back here!

I am in love with all the Maman out there and the Greenpoint one is very cool.
The second floor has huge tables where you can also go work at your laptop, wifi is free.

The entrance is amazing, the handles of the door are a spoon and a fork.

The vibe is nice and their style is different.

New favorite pit stop when I'm Greenpoint! Rustic , industrial polish garage conversion coffeeshop popup , the decor illuminates the inside . Oat late virtuously done like at no other place and avocado smash to satisfy your cravings ! Oh, this doughnuts with chocolate inside , the most delicious pancreas work out you can get here! Worth the extra calories! Don't get two in a row please , you might cause yourself glucose-coma!

I got a lavender honey iced latte and usually steer clear of flavored coffee since they are usually so sweet, but this latte was amazing! The lavender really came through without turning into that soapy taste it sometimes can when it's too intense, and it wasn't sweet at all, I loved it! I also got a smore cookie and omg it was amazing! Definitely have to come back again.

I had their Quiche Lorraine. It was served hot, with a nice texture and delicious crust. Husband had a Bowl with potatoes, bacon, grilled onions, egg - and said it was really good.
Their coffee (cappuccino and a drip) were excellent. No bitterness, smooth flavors. Great coffee compared to a lot of local coffee shops.
The best part, though, were the cookies. OMG - we ordered 1 of each of the 4 that were available that day. Took them home and shared them later in the evening. I will go back just for those, tho everything in their pastry section looked amazing.

The 1 downsize to the experience - we sat outside as it was busy indoors, and the weather was really nice that morning. There were 3 dumpsters on the sidewalk 1 store up from us. This made the view and people watching a bit unpleasant. And if the wind shifted slightly, there was definitely an aroma. Perhaps it was garbage day, and they usually aren't out. But that day they were, and they were hard to miss.

All in all, this is a place to frequent often!

Finally tried the Quiche in Maman. I like it as much as the rustic set up. There are also a variety of pastries. Gotta try some pistachio croissant next time:)

I’m from Montreal, and Maman just opened here. (to mixed reviews lol). I’ve heard alot about this place but never got the chance to go whenever I am in New York. Given that I stayed in the area, I went for brunch here and it was amazing! Had the meditteranian breakfast plate, and it tasted exactly like how we (I’m Lebanese) eat breakfast. Just beware, the kitchen opens at 9 am so I had to wait before placing my order which I did not mind. The staff was very friendly and patient which I appreciated. If you do arrive before and don’t mind waiting.... grab a coffee (they have oat milk woohoo!) and the best ever almond chocolate croissant I have ever tasted in my life. The Montreal location better live up to the quality and service at the Greenpoint location. Otherwise, I am definitely coming back here.

Great coffee ☕ and pastries 🍰. They also have an assortment of healthy foods like salads. Perfect if you need to be on your laptop for a few hours and there is wi-fi.

The food is amazing and the staff are even more amazing. The location is great with outdoor seating available. If you want great coffee and pastry come here.

Love the outdoor seating! Came here in the morning in October and it was shady and a little cold but I’m sure it’s perfect to sit outside in the afternoon.

The food at Maman is a bit pricey, but altogether it has a great welcoming and homey atmosphere with friendly, light blue, and soft color schemes and a cheery staff. The sandwiches and coffee are delicious and fresh. The unique furniture with the tables hanging from the ceiling is exciting and adds a nice flavor to the generic bakery cafe. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area, especially since Franklin Ave is a trendy little slice of Brooklyn.

Ordered a seasonal latte and an oatmeal cookie. Both with incredible flavors - delicate and well made. The atmosphere is very lovely.

Enjoyed their honey lavender latte & Bundt cake! Will be back to try their croissants. They have a variety of staple + unique pastries. There was plenty of seating inside and outside.

I got the garden rose dark chocolate mocha and Brenda’s Belgian waffles and they were both amazing! Quite pricy but the quality of the food and the calm vibes inside made it worth it. 10/10 would recommend adding this place to your to-do list.
