This park is pretty fun! My toddler had a good time & loved the little bridge they have. They also have some walking trails which are beautiful! There isn’t a whole lot to do at the playground but it’s a cute small one if you’re looking for a new one!

Always a very scenic place to fish even if they aren't bitting ! Water level was up a little and there was a quarter inch of ice on the creek channel leading to the main river this morning .

I’ve been to most States, and visit many parks on my journeys. Lake Metropark has the best parks in the entirety of the US. And Helen Hazen Wyman Park, is the very beginning of the Lake Metropark Organization. Clean, quiet, and beautiful. Well maintained, and a great spot that’s not too busy.

Love this place. My kids and I played in the creek and caught crawdads and frogs. It’s clean and not overly busy. Beautiful spot.

Really nice place for kids to throw/skip rocks in the water. My wife, kids and I had a lot of fun. If you want to walk and swim in the creek/stream I'd highly recommend water shoes to protect your feet from the rocks. Lots of the creek/stream is shallow but there are some spots that are fairly deep. One area caught me off guard and the water was up to my neck and I am 6'1"
So if you have young kids make sure you are right by their side. We only saw a small area of the park but from where we were it was clean. Didn't see any litter/trash.

Have been going here since I was a toddler. Due to weather and age the water has changed over the years. It is always exciting to see how it looks each time you go. The pavilion is nice. There is is great big field for soccer, baseball, kickball...you name it. The current playground looks safe and fun. There is an area for making a fire and benches here and there.

My only concern is if you are handicap there is no easy or no way at all to get down to be on the rocks/sand by the water. Only one bench that is handicap accessible with a water view.

This is a family friendly place with play structures and foot paths along the Grand River. Saw plenty of families with children wading in the shallows and skipping stones while their dogs romped in the water to cool off on this hot day. So enjoyed our hike as we named native wild flowers and trees. Recommended!!!

I really enjoy this park. It's quiet in the kids have fun on the play structures. Also you can walk around the river and explore. In the warm sunny weather the summer the kids enjoy going in the water and catching crayfish and just playing. Also we have picnics there under the Pavilion and it is very helpful to have public restrooms available
