It was 5:20PM Friday evening, 3/17/23, and my older son's car had started making a horrible noise at slow speeds. We rushed his car past two other local garages for a quick check but both of those shops had closed earlier than the times listed on their Google profiles (phooey on them).

We took a chance that Clarks would be open - and it was! Just barely as the owner was about to lock his front door and call it a day but he happily came out to do a quick analysis. He diagnosed a brake issue (worn down pads) and advised that the car should not be driven any long distance. While no work was done, his brief consultation helped us determine our next steps for the coming week. Thanks, Clark Auto Repair!

My car was having an exhaust issue. I dropped off my car at 9am and Clark Auto had it fixed the same day. Great service, great price and very nice people! I am happy to have found a locally owned, reliable mechanic.

Highly recommended!

Excellent experience with Clark Auto Repair! Chris looked at my car and had a complete diagnosis within a few hours. He was honest and fair with prices and was very patient dealing with someone who isn't knowledgeable when it comes to cars. He even took the time to communicate with my dad to explain the situation. Within 24 hours, my car was completely fixed and ready to drive. The guys here are friendly and trustworthy and I HIGHLY recommend them for an auto repair service!

Brought my 26 year old jeep to Chris to replace my ball joints and throw a muffler on. Did a full frame inspection beforehand and didnt go ahead and do the work until I fixed the frame. Most shops would do the work anyways without helping the owner make the right decision

If you want a honest, reliable, and down to earth place to take your car to get serviced, Clark Auto Repair is the right spot. Will be here again soon.

Clark's has been servicing my family's vehicles for almost 10 years. They take good care of us. They only do what is needed, and never recommend a bunch of extra stuff. We are very happy customers! The peace of mind that you are not being taken advantage of is PRICELESS! :)

I honestly have never reviewed anything on here, but I needed to review these guys.

I am a student at Ohio State and really had no idea where to take my car for maintenance. I listened to the reviews on here and I am extremely happy i did.

I have brought my car here 3 times now and every time came away happy with the problem fixed for much cheaper than anywhere else.

The first time, they quoted me for 2 parts to fix a problem, but when came in to pick up the car they said one part was not needed and only charged me for the one part needed. No commercial body shops would ever do that.

The second time I came in was for new brakes. They quoted me at $200 less than the next closest shop and had the parts shipped and the car done in the same day!

The last time I stopped by with a problem, which turned out to be loose wires that were shorting each other. They found the problem, cleaned up the wires and fixed the problem for basically nothing.

Very trustworthy guys. They never try to charge you for things you dont need. I would go here every chance I have.

This is the first review I've ever left a place, and I feel I have to because the people there were so nice, fair, and knowledgeable. I went in because my front light was out. They had my car checked out in the first five minutes. They didn't have the specific light needed so I waited in the lobby while the main mechanic ran out to get it. 30 minutes later i was driving out with perfect lights, and it only cost $25.
The only thing about this place is that it looks like an old school auto repair shop, but don't let that deter you. I almost didn't go in honestly because of how it looked, but after doing a lot of research I found that this place had the best reviews so I went for it, and I'm so glad that I did. They did a free car inspection and I need to have my oil changed and new brakes put on. You can bet where I'm going to get those done!
I'm so glad I took a chance on this place. The guys are friendly, fast, and fair.

I just picked up my car from there today. They did an AMAZING job! I needed the battery replaced on my car because it wasn't starting. They arranged for a tow truck to come get my car and worked on it during the weekend. I was called each day with an update of what was going on. They even gave me a sheet telling the diagnostics of my car and took the time to explain it all to me. All at a fair price. I am fairly new to the Columbus area so I was nervous about finding a good auto repair shop. I will definitely be coming here for everything.

I've taken my SUV to Clark's several times, and I've never been disappointed. The only time they couldn't do the work needed on my vehicle is when it needed alignment work. (Of course, taking it elsewhere cost me $1400.) The first job they did for me was done for $500 less than the price quoted by the dealer. They even checked out a 'service engine' light for me, and didn't want to charge me anything when they found it was nothing. Who else would do that?!? I trust Clark's, I will always trust Clark's.

Came in with a Ford Ranger, runnind weird. Nice people, very fair pricing. Quick turn around. They called me about what they found, let me choose what I wanted to be fixed. Told me the price. Fixed the issues. What else could I ask for?

I recently moved to Columbus and needed my window regulator replaced, I went by the grace of good reviews on google- and this place didn't disappoint! Super friendly and honest service and did an awesome job! Also comforting knowing they know how to handle 4x4s. Good feeling to finally have a mechanic I'll always go to.

These guys are the real deal. I have an older truck that I'd like to keep going as long as possible, and they've been awesome from the start. They're willing to work with suggestions if you do any research, and hands down, these gentlemen know their stuff. Great problem solvers of the art of engines. I am so greatful I found them.

Had to get on here and give this place a five star!!!
Loved how I felt like I was talking to a real person who could explain the problems with my car and what it would take to fix it. Very nice people and willing to work with me and my tight budget to get the work done in a couple of appointments.

Clark's is just an honest to goodness, trustworthy place to get your vehicle serviced. Skip the chain branded auto repair shops and support a local business like Clark's.

Great service at a very competitive cost. They were able to fit me in for a same day appointment and charged about $200-300 less than a previous quote. Definitely recommend!

Honest, up front pricing. Finally, someone who gives mechanics and mechanic shops a good name. If I were you, I would 100% trust their opinion, diagnosis and work. Not sure the ownership here as the ability to be dishonest. Spot on! TAKE YOUR CAR HERE... it will be truly refreshing.
