Gourmet Deli House - Restaurant and Deli, Take-Out, Catering and Delivery

Debra was so sweet and amazing! What great service! Helped us decide and was so excited by what we ordered! The Matzoh ball, Italian wedding was great! Had the epic French toast (YES IT WAS EPIC). Now coming back with the kids!

This is a traditional American restaurant with elements of delicious Jewish cuisine. A delicious selection of meat and fish dishes, wonderful salads, freshly baked bread, delicious burgers, desserts for every taste and, of course, an excellent selection of beer and alcoholic drinks... It was after visiting this restaurant that I realized that I love American cuisine with all its national colors. Great restaurant! Must visit from 8 am to 8 pm! Enjoy the gastronomic skills of local chefs!

Chose this restaurant en route thru the State, because of proximity to the highway, Customer Reviews and Online Menu.

Located in a strip Plaza with plenty of parking, easily accessible.

We were seated right away, ordered two cups of Matzoh ball soup, I love that our server, Debra Ann, asked if we wanted noodles, he did, I didn't.

We also ordered a pastrami on Rye with Cole slaw. Waiting for soup, I asked Debra how the chopped liver is. She said "oh, it's great, we make everything here." Then she offered me a sample, I loved it & ordered a single scoop appetizer.

Debra brought out a bowl of pickles, and explained the difference between half sour and full sour pickles.

Soon after, our soups arrived, and they were delicious, the broth had just the right amount of seasoning, very homey. The Matzoh ball was fully cooked through with a firm but light texture.

The chopped liver came next, on a large lettuce leaf, accompanied by a nice slice of tomato and red onion. It was missing crackers, but we were already set with plenty of carbs and honestly, it was just so good on its own. It was finely chopped without being pasty, perfectly seasoned, a hint of onion, and nicely moist, not at all oily.

Next was the Pastrami sandwich & Cole slaw, Debra brought a 2nd plate. As I was lifting off my half, the smokiness of the meat wafted up. Taking a bite, the pastrami had just enough fat for flavor without being gross. There was the slightest gristle to it but not so much that it affected the sandwich. In fact, I don't think I've ever had a pastrami that was so deeply flavorful. The rye bread had a fantastic crunchy, chewy crust. The inside was softer and fluffier than true northern rye, but it was so fresh and the flavor was spot on. The Cole slaw, by the way, was perfect. Lightly dressed, lightly creamy, lightly sweet, and very fresh.

Debra had put our orders in so that everything was delivered just a tad spaced apart. So nice to not have everything dropped off all at once, we were able to fully enjoy each course.

After chatting a bit I learned they make EVERYthing in house, I for one SO appreciate every bit of the extra effort!

I'm so sad this place is over 4 hours from home, because I'll absolutely be craving that Pastrami.

I came here on Sunday around 12 PM with my best friend. We got seated quickly and our server Geralyn took very good care of us. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and restaurant for sure and super sweet. We ended up sipping on mimosas while splitting a lobster melt croissant 🥐 🦞 and a Greek salad 🥗. It was a perfect portion for each honestly. The lobster melt was very rich in mayo or whatever creams which was a bit overwhelming but still good. I would definitely come here again.

Geracyn welcomed her into the The Deli House as if she had been expecting us. I think that made our first time here a hit. The food was delicious and the service was amazing and when we are back this way this will definitely be a stop on our trip for sure.

We had the lobster melt sandwiches, which are absolutely loaded with lobster. Very reasonably priced, and our server Geralyn was quick and personable.

Deli House is my favorite place for breakfast . Their lunches are also excellent . The service is always great. Seating is great because you are not cramped in. It is very roomy with tables and booths.
The food is so good, better than so many other places I've been. Consistently good.

Awesome Ruben sandwich! Just like the NY deli of yesteryear. Service was fast cheerful and super friendly. A true 5 Star energy from our girl (Jerilyn?) comes complete with small bar and plenty of parking. #gourmetdelihouse

First visit. We can only vouch for the egg salad and fish sandwich. Everything was great except I thought the egg salad lacked a little depth and thought the potato knish could have been a little crispier on the outside. Otherwise delish (everything was super fresh) and we will definitely be back!! Our waitress Julie (or was it Julia?) was so sweet and thorough and thought of everything!

The food is absolutely incredible. Geralyn was a very attentive and kind server. The lobster croissant will make your eyes cross (it's heavenly). I usually steer closer to the modern bistro breakfast places but this place uses classic features blended elegantly with modern takes on breakfast and lunch. Would highly recommend 👌

I have to say this is one of the best deli meals I have ever had. My family and I ate lunch here and all of us were totally satisfied with all the food, and the customer service was excellent. Our waitress was as cute as a button and so sweet. Another lady who worked there insisted on taking our photo when she saw me trying to take a selfie of all of us, lol. She was sweet too. I got the sauteed chicken liver plate, with two sides and it was so big, I could only eat half. I took the other half home. I would highly recommend this place, and I will return. The Gourmet Deli does a great job ❤😋

What a wonderful time we had at Gourmet Deli House!!
Geralyn our server, was amazing and suggested the Lobster Melt. I highly recommend it! Two huge scoops of lobster meat that was sweet and delicious set on top of two halves of croissants. My daughter and son in law both had Eggs Benedict, and they said the hollandaise was rich and decadent!
We ordered the challah French toast so we could all try a little. It is made with their homemade challah bread, and was so thick and fluffy!
This restaurant is a gem! Plenty of room for large parties as well. We will certainly be back!!

We used catering from Gourmet Deli House for our immigration seminar in West Palm Beach. Everything was precisely delivered to plan. I have not gotten so many compliments on the food and the staff could not have been any more helpful and professional. Thank you very much, service, food and people were outstanding, we will look forward to our next opportunity to work with you.

I went to Gourmet Deli House, and was extremely pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Rachel sandwich and this trio salad platter. Each scoop of the three salads was delicious, and fish was fresh and very tasty; I could tell that Rachel sandwich’s pastrami meat was homemade maybe even better than in New York as it was thinly sliced Florida style. Moreover, the price for all these delicatessen dishes was ridiculously low! The atmosphere was really nice too, it’s a beautifully done place. It looks more as a fancier restaurant rather than a deli; in contrast with quite modest plaza front, the interior is really cool. I highly recommend!

I usually go here once or twice a year, either for breakfast or dinner (or both) when I'm in the Lake Worth area for a few weeks. I've seen it change ownership a few times over the 20 years I've been going there, but it usually remained a reliable quality experience. On this occasion we were greeted by a very friendly girl who seated us promptly shortly before closing (8 p.m.). The waitress was very friendly and took our order very quickly. We were in the mood for real deli sandwiches so we chose a grilled Reuben and the Brisket melt. We couldn't have been happier with our sandwiches and the fries and Cole slaw that came with them. Also, the sour and dill pickles they serve with the meals were excellent as well. The portions were very generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

Debra was the best waitress! And the food was awesome. Had the eggs Benedict with salmon for breakfast…delicious! Best part was the singer belting out tunes the entire time!

We came in for breakfast and has a great time! Highly recommend the Almond French Toast and Geralyn could not have been a better server - kind, prompt and professional.
Can’t wait to come back for lunch!

Our waiter Debra was kind and had very good service, she had an amazing attitude and was easy to talk and engage with. The food was simply immaculate and the presentation/taste was amazing. Highly recommended 👍
