Bitter Sweet

Ordered the Hawaiian and the teriyaki, both were well portioned and full of flavor. Coffee was delicious and bold without being bitter. For an affordable breakfast place, it is quaint, cozy and everything you could ask for. Service is simple, a combo of do it yourself and table service, but not bothersome cause I’m not paying for a $25-$30/person breakfast. Service was very pleasant and we had everything we needed. Place is clean and tidy. Easy to enjoy a meal and walk out of here very satisfied for $12-15/person, it’s a gem!

I went here for coffee when I was passing through Cincinnati, and ended up eating the most delicious crepe I’ve ever had! I had an omelette one (western I think, it’s been a while). So so good! I was also given a small sample pumpkin spice crepe. I wish I didn’t live so far away! I also wish more people had been there. I hope it’s busier normally as it was so tasty :)

I was searching around on maps for a place to have breakfast and happened upon this cute little place and had to give it a try. Boy was I surprised by how cute and quaint this little gem is. I had the banana creme pie crepe, it was fabulously delicious. The tres leches coffee hit the spot just right. I'm so glad that I stopped in and if you are in the area, definitely give it a try. The owner, Yok, is a sweetheart and was a delight to meet. She really cares about the customer. Truly an authentic individual. I will be ordering the strawberry short crepe and cinnamon sugar, to go, along with some freeze dried snacks.
Thank you for the pleasurable hospitality, great food, coffee and snacks. When I get a chance to come back to town, I'll definitely be back.

This place not only has amazing crepes and outstanding frappes, but the owner is the sweetest most wonderful woman you could ever meet . I love looking around while I wait for my Western crape to be made. And it has an amazing seating area, and board games already stocked. I love going here to get great service, amazing food, and a smile (and maybe an extra item or two from the shop area lol). This place is definitely the local place to support...

Every day in the morning before work i have to got this( sweet corn waffle with caramel espresso frappe)it’s so good make my belly happy before start working. The owner so sweet like her restaurant name😅. I highly recommend it ❤❤

Bitter Sweet is truly an example of a hidden gem. The owner is extremely kind and goes above and beyond to ensure top quality food and service. My partner and I both enjoyed the delicious crepes and amazing smoothies that we ordered, and we won’t forget how enjoyable our waffle pop was! The little game shelf set up was very nice and helps to provide some extra entertainment while enjoying our time there. It really is a neat place. It’s a shame that it’s located in a low-traffic area because anyone who drives past it should stop in and enjoy some of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while.

9/6 Came back to try the whodey latte and I absolutely loved it. The Thai mandarin and espresso for me go together well. I also bought some dried mandarin and banana cream crepe to go. Got some more ideas for things to try when I come back. Thanks again!

8/5 We had the TexMex savory crepe with added mushrooms. Crepes were perfect, b the perfect balance and very tasty. I had a Thai tea frappe and he had a strawberry smoothie. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Got a sample of a peach smoothie with added b vitamins which tasted amazing. Took a sweet banana cream crepe. Will definitely be back for more. Have to remember to try the whodey latte.

Very adorably, sweet coffee shop. We had some smoothies to go along with some coffees. Seemed the owner was working and was very kind & welcoming. Would imagine if you are going mother-daughter dress shopping for a wedding, definitely the place to hit!

We even had time to play a few games of connect four that was hanging out on the shelf!

Okay this review is a long time coming. This place one of "The BEST" in Cincinnati for crepes. They serve both sweet and savory. They also serve amazing coffee. We've tried both sweet and savory, I prefer the savory, western omlete if you please. However my children enjoy the brown banana and anything Nutella. My wife really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza and I the veggie pizza with chicken. YES All wrapped in delicious crepes.

Hey what do you have to lose, nothing. The food is amazing and the service is too. When it gets busy and because they meticulously make their crepes, you may need to wait to enjoy them. But Trust Me they are worth it. So go today or tomorrow but GO!!! You will not be disappointed.

Went to bitter sweet for my birthday brunch and absolutely loved it!! The smoothies were amazing and both sweet and savory crepes were amazing!
I loved the little game shelf, my boyfriend and I got to play connect four and tic tac toe before our order arrived! Will be coming back.

Bitter Sweet was the perfect place for our bridal shower! The owners are friendly and so easy to work with. Best of all their food is absolutely delicious - especially their gluten free! So thankful that we found them.

Holy Crepes!! This place is seriously the cutest and coziest! They have so many cute card and board games to play, anything delicious you could want, an iphone charger and friendly staff. We highly recommend this place and I haven’t even received my food yet but i’ll update as soon as it comes. You should definitely visit as soon as you can. Plus it’s a Wish pickup location which is what brought me here in the first place. Parking is in the back and I’ll add some photos so you can see how adorable!

Great crepes and very reasonable coffee drink prices. I've had several crepes at this point and have enjoyed them all. I especially liked the banana caramel crepe and the curry chicken ones. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Highly recommend checking this place out.

I really love this cute little place. Don't be in a hurry when you come! Enjoy your time with family and friends. Great place to come before or after bridal shopping!

We had a great time stopping in for a bit before my sister’s wedding dress fitting. The weather was beautiful, so we were able to hangout outside where they had a a cute little outdoor seating area. The layout is probably not what most people would be used to with it being located inside a home.

They also sold a variety of things at their shop that was interesting to see (jewelry, ramen, sake sets, etc.) It felt like a catch-all-cafe, but still a fun little place!

I didn’t order anything, but my sister and friend ordered the custard filled waffle pop (I’m not sure if that’s what it was called) and my friend ordered two crepes (berries n cream & banana split). It all looked amazing!

So cute and so good! 😍 My boyfriend and I went here for lunch. It feels like you are in someone's house. Like at your grandma's place. Everything was so delicious and have been meaning to go back. You have to write your order and put it in the bucket 🪣Thankfully, the people in front of us had been there before. Otherwise, we wouldn't have known what to do lol Hope to come in soon and try another crepe!

Highly recommend this establishment, very sweet staff and they make the coffee perfectly! If you love coconut flavoring I’d definitely come to this place for it.

This place has the best frappes I've ever had. The birthday crepe was also delicious. My friend and I were going to eat in, but we were running late to a different place, so we had to switch to carry out. However, the little time we spent inside felt very cozy and relaxing. I'm definitely planning to come back a lot during the summer.
