Tip Top is one of our favorite local diners! The staff are friendly and efficient. Our favorite seat is by the windows watching the birds at the bird feeders. We had the grilled chicken salad and the Country Fried steak. Both delicious! The fries have a nice crunchy coating that is so different than other restaurants.

Everything I have had there has been amazing! The staff really cares about what they do. They go above and beyond to make you feel more like family then just a customer. My favorite meal is the chicken tenders, macaroni salad and calico baked beans. But they serve everything all day long so sometimes pancakes in the evening is my other go to! An excellent restaurant overall, with fast and kind service, good food and all at a great price too! Came here with a party of 6 at 9 am on a Sunday and was seated immediately. We all ordered an array of food, and for the price it can't be beat! I was very impressed at the amount of food that came in the mexican skillet I ordered. And to top it all off they have a massive wall of windows that overlooks the park! And they have added bird feeders too. Overall awesome small Cafe vibe.

A classic staple here in Ohio. This restaurant has been here for decades, and the food is still amazing. I'm a native from Colorado that recently moved here. However my Dad has been eating here for Decades. Keep up the great work. 5* all around, friendly service, great food, and fast turn around times. 😋

This is my partner and I’s favorite breakfast place. We will come here over anywhere in Kent any day. We usually only stop in for breakfast, which has consistently been good every single time, but we recently went for lunch and surprise surprise, also awesome. The menu has a lot to choose from without skimping on quality, and I’ve never had a bad service experience. Servers are top notch and always deserve an over 30% tip. Oh, great pies and cake slices too!

I have passed by this place for years, but I never find myself near it when I needed to eat breakfast. Today I went a little out of my way to circle back here and I would like to say that it was worth the trip. They offer a nice variety of breakfast items including GRITS and Sausage Gravy. Everything was plated in a nice fashion and flavorful. I will go here again and I recommend that you stop passing this place. Ask for a window seat so that you can see the view of Tip-Top Falls. A hidden jewel next to a hidden jewel.

Got the buttermilk pancakes with bacon and sausage links. The sausage links weren’t great, but the pancakes and bacon were awesome. We had also gotten the sausage skillet which was amazing as it always is. Waiters were nice, I also really enjoyed the hostess’s Amber, she was very polite and friendly.

Always a great place! The staff are extremely friendly and the food is great quality that tastes amazing! I have tried almost everything here, you can’t go wrong with any of it! Pancakes any time day or night? Yes please!! Let’s not forget about the fries, they are the best fries around!

I have gone by this place many, many times but have never stopped. Decided to finally check it out. Great food, great waitress and atmosphere was terrific.

The double cheeseburger with fries sounds simple, but is truly mind blowing!! Two 1/3 pound patties loaded up with veggies with probably a pound more of fries. It’s a lot to eat for a reasonable price. Our server was also very friendly, and sitting next to the window there’s a nice view of birds, chipmunks, and squirrels running around like a live action Bambi.

Had the eggs Benedict and meat lovers omelette with hash browns and side of grits. Was good, huge helpings so it’s very filling and the staff (waiters and waitresses and hosts) are all so very friendly and have a great attitude in the establishment. Felt very comfortable and will come back

Been going here for years. Great little mom & pop restaurant with a lot of good food. And breakfast all day if you want. Although their dinner menu is great too

The person at the cash register came out and scolded an older couple who sat in the first booth for not waiting to be seated by a waitress. Both of them could hardly walk and her feet were misformed. When we mentioned that to her she quickly said to us that she knew them, but they need to wait to be seated. She mentioned her title and that rules need to be followed. I hope she never experiences being handicapped and have pain in walking. Now on a positive note Jacob is an excellent waiter and all the waitresses do a great job.

This is one of our favorite local places to eat! The food is fantastic! The service is always good. The best part for me is the fact they have gluten free options like bread. I ordered the hot open face roast beef sandwich with gf bread and it is an amazing dish. This isn’t sliced roast beef like everyone else but actual roast beef in chunks over bread (I got gf) mashed potatoes with gravy and a side I got broccoli (way more broccoli than any other restaurant serves btw) this was so much food I brought it home and finished it today as my lunch! I would have taken a picture but my hubby and I leave the phones away from our table when dining out. Yum!

Such a good place! Hot coffee, quick service and good food at a great price. Eggs Benny was good. Hollandaise sauce was not broken, and rich. English muffin was crisp, poached cooked perfectly. The hashbrowns were crispy, and buttery! Patty sausage were good aswell! Definitely a good spot for a breakfast!

This is definitely the place to go for all day breakfast - it seems to be what everyone else was getting around noon on a Saturday. It's a wonderfully old-school kind of diner and has a lovely view out the back into the trees.

I was craving restaurant-level chicken fingers, and while these weren't my favorite, they were HUGE, and the real thing - no frozen patties here. They were a touch tough, and just far too much for one person. I tried both honey mustard and BBQ sauce and much preferred the BBQ here. The fries are AMAZING, kind of a beer-batter style, and I liked them a bit better than the chicken itself. You get two sides with an entree and my second was some grilled green beans, which I really enjoyed.

I was a solo diner that day and was able to squeeze into the last spot at the counter, but it was nice and I chatted a bit with the people on one side. The servers are fantastic - just overall a very friendly place. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here when I'm back in town.

Wow. Order was taken quickly and out to the table very fast. Everything tasted delish and fresh. All of which was reasonably priced. The highlight of our experience was Jessica. Truly a exceptional server who was cheerful, fast, attentive, and hands down top 10 servers we’ve ever had. Big shout out to her and tip top kitchen staff. Cheers guys.

Always love this place! They've been there for years and years and are still a great quality restaurant and good food. Well rounded menu too. Very very busy on the weekend (for good reason) so it can get loud during busy times. If you are able to go at non peak periods then take a table at the back by the windows because it's always nice to watch the squirrels and chipmunks from the tables along the back windows!

Never thought I'd ever see or have Liver and Onions for breakfast......but here we are.
