Dollar General

The store might be small, but in my opinion this Dollar General has the best selection of goods out of all the dollar stores. I'm always able to find just what I need. The staff alis very polite and helpful, as well.

I live close to this store and run in frequently. Today, I ran in to buy a large flat of water. Being older, and not strong as I should be, I struggled a bit to carry it to the cash register. A young man working there, rushed up and picked it up, and waited to carry it to my car for me! I thanked him and the young woman, a cashier, replied, "That is what we are here for." In today's world of too many rude employees, I was so happy and grateful!

Pretty good shopping experience. Has everything you would find at your local dollar store. Also quite easy to find what you need due to how small the store is.

When the store is open it serves well for the area. We needed something like this around here. If they could just get people staffed and stocked shelves it would be a great place.

Dollar General used to be cheap somewhat in the past but seems like they are a bit expensive for a lot of things too I've noticed these days.

The isle's are narrow

Please pay your employees more! For goodness sake Dollar General. For starters, it would be wonderful to be able to shop here. But 9/10, the store isn't open when I go so I just stopped going. Last time I called to see if the store was open before wasting my time, the woman who answered the phone said 'Dollar General we close at 6' ...Seriously?
The employees here are not happy at ALL. This area could really use a grocery store, and to have employees run a store, you need to pay them a living wage. It is no wonder you don't have people to run your store and stock your shelves. You're charging regular grocery store prices. Perhaps your employees could be treated a bit better and maybe they'll want to stick around? Just a thought.

Tried to tell me I couldn’t buy a lighter because you have to be 21. I’m a delivery driver and was shopping for a customer. The employees were very very rude, they told my business to the other customers “quietly”, and were too lazy to check the actual minimum age. Worst dollar general experience I’ve ever had (and that’s hard to beat). 🤷

Most inconsistent store hours possible. You never know if they are open or closed until you pull up and read a small post-it note on the front door stating the days current hours.

This would be such a great location to pick items up but it seams more often than not i am met with a closed sign.
