Ok let's keep in mind, you are not at a high society facility paying $300 a night even though rooms are having similarities to one another. This hotel has been around for 41 years that I'm aware of. Staff are very friendly and huge animal lovers. Rooms are very clean. No critters in your rooms but it is in a country setting so don't be discouraged if a field mice sneaks in from time to time to get warm. And those critters are only getting in because you left the door open. There is a farm within walking distance during certain seasons that have special events going on that's very kid friendly. And it's a location right off 70 in between Columbus and Newark so you can have the luxury of both areas small town hick town atmosphere or big city lights depending if you are willing to travel. This hotel is under new ownership which btw congrats to the owners and I'm hearing as well that it will be getting a make over aka remodeled in the near future. So have some patience with them when things are a mess because we all love seeing the final stunning results of something that just got a new look.

This is a older property that is very well maintained. Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable, the water pressure is good, the rooms have refrigerators and microwaves, & a comfortable chair. Heat/AC and wifi worked great! Phil (the owner) and his team are extremely nice and VERY accommodating. I read some poor reviews. We travel A LOT, and have stayed in some very sub par places, this is not one of them. There are things that have not been renovated so if you're a 'Marriot' type of person, you may be disappointed with some of the outdated facilities BUT THEY ARE VERY WELL MAINTAINED AND CLEAN. I had no issues with charges/payment and it's VERY reasonable. We have stayed twice and will stay here every time we are in the area. Thanks Phil/girls for a great stay!!

These were the nicest people I ever met at any hotel and helped with anything even got my kids gifts one Christmas and I couldn't have asked for better service! Thanks for all you guys did for me in my kids!**

Very peaceful and pleasant. Phil answered the phone both times I called and was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and the other working staff was friendly upon check in. I had a fridge, microwave and complimentary water. I took a long walk down the country road and wished I could stay longer. Absolutely no drama. If I'm in this area again, I'm staying at the Regal. Thank you for a nice stay !

Great value for the price, and the staff is super friendly. My daughter and I just showed up here after a concert at 1:30 am, and the manager got us a room right away. Yes, the rooms are a bit time-worn, but we really didn't care; they are inexpensive, clean, and comfortable, and that's all that you need to get a good night's sleep. There was a mini-fridge and microwave in our room, but we didn't need to use either. Although we didn't experience it, we were told they have cookouts over the firepit for the guests on the weekends throughout the summer, which is pretty cool. We will stay here again whenever we're back in the Columbus area.

Great place to stay. Nice private country environment and still close to everything you need. Management is always friendly and willing to go the extra me to ensure your comfort and have everything you need. Bonfires and cookouts furnished by the Management are the perfect way to show their gratitude to their guests. New managers have taken great strides in making this place a friendly comfortable place to stay. Way to go gentlemen, you have done an amazing job. 👍🙌

Stayed here for 3 nights on business. The customer service was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean as they should be. Pretty cool they have a bonfire if the weather permits right out front and frisbee golf set up. The owners are local and onsite to make sure you enjoy the stay. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

Stayed at The Regal Inn during Street outlaws race...I was totally suprised. .very clean..friendly atmosphere. And most of all I felt safe there..Very glad I chose this hotel. Phil the manager was awesome. Anything we needed,
he was happy to help..I recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place is amazing. The staff are very nice and make sure to do their best to make you feel like you're at home. Its very clean too. My husband and I had to make this place our short term home for a little while & we're still currently here. We went from hotel to hotel to hotel trying to find a place that fit us best and we kept putting this place off due to the location and such but now we finally are here and its so home like, warm feeling and just overall a great place. They have bomb fires and everyone is laid back and cool... You can use the grill and cook out anytime you'd like. Everyone sticks to themselves so no ones in your business. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a long term stay or just a weekend. You'll not regret it.

Phil and his staff were nothing short of amazing. Giving us rides to and from legend valley and totally saving us from our disaster motel. Thank you guys for the bon fire and all the late late night rides. I wish I didn’t feel compelled to write a 5 star review so I could keep this place as my own secret but everyone deserves to know that this place is trying it absolute hardest to care for their guests and make them feel like family.

Love this place...so quiet...clean and Phil and Rob are awesome...i can always count on coming here, rooms are always very clean and the staff is always accommodating and make you feel like family when you stay!!! I will always come here for the peace and quiet and relaxation!

Our family, consisting of two adults and two children stayed here for a few weeks. This place now has new management & they've improved immensely. Much cleaner, quiet, and we'll lit at night with 24hr security cameras which made me feel safe.
The staff is friendly and helpful, and the manager is fantastic! Always eager to help, and very attentive.
Although small, this is a safe & peaceful place to stay.

I recently spent a night at this motel. My carpet was freshly shampooed and the bed linens smelled fresh since it was a smoking room. All of the rooms are being updated and renovated. The staff was very friendly and always willing to answer questions. I will definitely be back again.

I used to live in the area for years and know the story of the previous ownership. The new owners have since renovated and have a watchful eye without being intrusive. The rooms that they have available are all renovated and clean. They are obviously working hard at improvements and the cost for the area without having to be in a city is perfect. We have two dogs and he's always made accommodations easy for us when we're passing through since the reopening. I highly recommend if you need to be in the area and don't like a lot of noise and people you stay here. They're doing a terrific job to improve things and the location makes it easy to get anywhere.

After changing hotels twice due to bad customer service, I came across this gem of a motel. I had to work in the area for several days and the friendliness, excellent customer service, and amazing room conditions of Regal Inn made me a happy stagehand. Phil the owner is great man with a beautiful vision.. I will 100% come back again and I would 100% recommend staying here. Absolutely worth it.

This place has new and old things but they are up grading each and every room and trust me it has some more updates going but they are respectful and do it at a normal time.. people who work there are the sweetest and happy to help anyway they can.. trust me when Phil and Rob gets done with all the clean up they are doing and have since the last owners didn't do or care to do this place will be like it was when it was first open. May of times I've been in office just to say hello and people have came in trying to get Phil to sale them the regal, I have met Phil and Rob a little over 3or4months ago great guys and keep up the great work see ya soon....

Great value for your money. New owners that are improving the property daily. Dated for now but very clean and bug free. Friendly and welcoming staff, they even brought donuts and Diet Coke to our room when we missed the lobby breakfast. Wonderful motel option.

I had the best experience and affordable temporary stay at this place for 5 months. It's well maintained by new management and Phil is amazing. He took care of everything we needed and he has made this place a great stay if you like fast maintenance and quiet nights for a good rest. It's a great home away from home and hes updating the rooms quite nicely.

This is a place that will make you feel like you went home for the day or weekend. They are very genuine intentionally instead of just trying to keep up a brand name. I was very impressed with their friendly and welcoming demeanor always and if I was closer to them they'd have my laundry service business. They did such a wonderful job on my laundry it felt like I had time to do it myself. There is ample parking for RV or Bus and very close to the interstate.

The staff here is amazing. The new staff has been here for about threre months, I found out speaking with them and absolutely bend over backwards to make you feel welcome, treat you as part of the family and your stay enjoyable. The property is currently having its rooms updated with fresh paint and flooring. The rooms are clean and smell good, even the smoking rooms. They have beautiful hanging flower baskets outside of the rooms and in the process of additional landscaping. Every morning, they provide coffee and fresh homemade donuts in the lobby for their guests. Let me tell you, the donuts are AMAZING!!!
