Flying J Travel Center

The amenities here for truckers go far and beyond what other truck stops offer. A barber shop, showers, laundromat, TV lounge, low-priced tobacco, and a diner (Dennys) all make this a very convenient one-stop shop for all long distance truck (and passenger vehicles) drivers. You can even buy clothes here! And the service is top notch too.
I'm left with just one question: Are all Flying J's like this? I'm super impressed.

I stop at that flying J quite often.
The cashiers are friendly and helpful for the most part. The cashier Anitra is very helpful and friendly. I've personally seen her work 3 registers when they were busy and short of help. She deserves a raise if you ask me. The other cashier Nate is also very friendly and helpful. I've not had a bad experience in that store.

I think I’m in the wrong place. Seems reviewers are a picky bunch. It has been a delight to stop here for a 10. I arrived around 1730 on a Thursday which in any other truck stop would be chaos-thirty. Most of the pumps were open with no one doing a 34 at the pull-up. Parking was a breeze. About 1/3 of the spots are still open. Plenty of room to maneuver. Clean parking lot. Bathroom was clean and the guy who is there normally washing his testes in the sink was missing! I decided on Dennys. Standard Dennys. Service was good. I almost look forward to getting up and coming in to get my morning Joe (no relation) and getting on my way. If you have to suffer I-70 through Indiana and Ohio, this is the place to shoot for.

Definitely will be back, my favorite place to stop for a 10 or a 34. Laundry, plenty of parking. Clean showers with great pressure & Hott water. The chief there makes some amazing homemade meals . The Beautiful Woman @ the counter fast & friendly Service.

Hey guys!! This is a super great Flying J, they have a barber 💈 really nice employees, extremely friendly staff. Lots of parking and a beautiful view. Away from the hustle and bustle.

Just left and have to say it was one of the most pleasant stops at a Pilot/Flying J I've had since I began driving. Chef Dave noticed me mulling over the house made meals and recommended the Chicken Alfredo. He assured it was a popular item and he'd been working diligently to raise the quality of the food at this location. After we spoke more he also mentioned how good the Chicken bacon ranch pizza was, I had to give it a shot as it did look very appealing. I must say, the pizza was so well prepared and delicious that after I ate the slice in my van, I had to write this review before hitting the road.

Great dedication here at this location from the whole crew that shows. Much appreciation for the wonderful experience thanks to Chef Dave and the rest of the staff. This place was clean, tidy and had a very welcoming air inside. Not to mention great food!!!

I've saved this Travel Center in my locations and will be sure to come back and tell Dave about how I enjoyed the Alfredo. I'm sure it'll be good!!!

Nice travel center. Plenty of parking for non-commercial vehicles including 5th wheel, travel trailer, large vans, cars, and motorcycles. The parking lot is well lit and law enforcement does do rounds through the area a few times each night. There's a Denny's Restaurant also, although not open 24 hours, and it's rarely crowded. The Travel Center also has a great selection of hot foods and beverages, including coffee and tea. Clean showers and restrooms round out this altogether great travel center.

Not a fan of Pilot/Flying J, but FJ seems to be a step above most Pilot stops. This station is clean inside and out and the staff is polite. Some showers are a little small, too small, but the water is hot and the pressure is good.

As a truck driver I hit several Flying J/ Pilot locations a week. This is the first time I ever went into a shower and the towels given from them actually smelled and felt CLEAN! Shout out to the wonderful lady taking care of this for us with great effort! This never happens at other location so this is great! I enjoy clean towels. Showers were squeaky clean, even under the toilet seat! Impressive.
Parking lot is spacious, well taken care of and clean! Great truck stop overall :)

Great rest stop! The coffee is wonderful and gas isn't too expensive. They have showers and accommodate well for drivers. Very clean as well. 10/10

I went to the flying chair to go into Denny’s and they had carry out only so I looked at the hot bar they had up at the register and the gas station in Side. And I asked a guy who was very friendly young black man. How old the chicken was it was in there he actually had a log he said it was an hour old. Well I reluctantly ordered it and I got some wedges with it a tortilla soup and a passion fruit drink and I got to tell you everything was amazing. The chicken was nice and juicy and tender . I’ll make the trip to get fireworks again across the street and stop and get that same meal. Awesome experience thank you for reading.

Good place to stop on a trip, they stock anything youd need for an auto fix. Fuel prices are good and while I was there I was able to fill my car and race jugs with E85.

Stopped for gas and lunch with a camper in tow. Entrances, lanes, and parking spots well marked. Decent options for meals. Restrooms clean. Easy on/off I-70 eastbound.

People here are nice, patient, and the store is clean.

I always make it a point to stop here. A clean shower today...kudos to the shower employee. A great haircut from a veteran barber. The potroast, mac/cheese, etc. was awesome. Very friendly folks working here. Very quiet in the lot...no riff-raff. Thanks!

Great stop on the way to work. Staff is always friendly. The place is kept clean. There usually isn't too long of a wait. The pizza is actually pretty good too. I can't speak for the showers and stuff there since I haven't used them but everything else great.

Their selection of pretty much anything I could imagine was MASSIVE. And the cashier was beyond helpful and courteous and polite. I would totally give them an A++ for customer service especially for being sooooo AWESOME AT 2 o'clock on the morning.

I am a preacher and I was visiting some friends that attend Christ United Methodist. We stop at Denny’s for a bite. Our hostess Tisha was wonderful. I have discovered, while many restaurants are similar. it’s the attitude that changes the atmosphere in the room.
