Near West Theatre

What a wonderful theatrical experience. We were there to see " The Prom", and I - having never been to this venue ( or any near West production) was completely amazed by the talent of this production.. .I went there expecting the usual " community theater" fare, and left feeling totally transformed. Everything about this production is professional and top notch; the singing, the acting, costumes, and especially the message. I highly recommend that if you get a chance, go see this exhilarating show before it closes next weekend!

We attended "The Wizard of Oz" this past Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. We've been to at least four other shows since 2017 and this was the best production we've seen. They actually found a well-behaved terrier for for Toto. Pair the dog with the great kids playing the Munchkins, and you have yourself Disney level cuteness. The casting was really good, especially the Cowardly Lion. I swear he is related to Nathan Lane. Catch a show at the Near West Theater. You won't regret it!

This neighborhood theatre is such a welcome addition. The building is sustainable (solar), modern and pretty. The performances I have attended were phenomenal and I can't wait to see more in the future.

I do volunteering for the spot lights there. I make so many friendships and I met so many wonderful people of all sorts. Its amazing and the shows are phenomenal. We have done shows that include tons of lights without power and really this place is amazing.

Near West is an important part of this community. They do a good job engaging and involving community members and staging performances that take classics and place them in a new light. If you get a chance go see Historic Haunts; Near West's celebration of the spooky and macabre side of Cleveland.

Cool atmosphere. Nice shows. Friendly staff. Nice location and nice and clean. Great pricing.

Went to see Addams Family with my son. We both had a blast! The tickets were super reasonably priced considering the type of show being put on. The concessions were also a great bargain before the show and during intermission. Where else can you enjoy a night out with live theatre for about the same price as a movie at Regal or AMC

Went and saw the Wizard of Oz on 12/3 and what a wonderful venue and wonderful play
Not a bad seat in the building and prices at snack bar were affordable

We had a great time at this theater. It was very cozy great atmosphere. It had two levels which you can get to by stairs or elevator. The downstairs area had a small Cafe seating with couches and chair. The staff was very friendly and assisted you write to your. The seats were Roomy and very comfortable. I will visit this theater again it looks like there's always a show performed here

Went to the Historic Haunts event tonight and it was beyond amazing!! It was the first live theater production we’ve taken our son to and he absolutely loved it and he’s a 12 year old who thinks everything is stupid so him loving this says a lot! We will definitely be attending more productions here and definitely coming to historic haunts if they do it again! Wonderful work, bravo!

My grandson was in the ensemble of “All Shook Up”! The performances were all outstanding! The whole production was phenomenal! Kudos to everyone who participated. The audience was so hyped up at the end because everyone was amazed at how great the show was! I loved it!

Mr. Shawn comedy show was a wonderful experience. This is so needed right now with all that's going on in the world.

Saw a really good show there a couple of weeks ago. Nice venue. Comfortable seats. Friendly staff. Parking was not as bad as I was afraid it might be. Several public lots in easy walking distance. Highly recommend!

An anchor in the community that is run by great people who care.

The online ordering process was quick and easy. The theater staff was friendly, and the theater was an exhibit in itself. There is a concession stand downstairs & everything is very reasonably priced. The cast put on an amazing performance. I would definitely come back and see another show. I’ve been talking about it with all my friends who are looking for someplace different to see a show.
