Bistro 70 did not disappoint! Love the ambiance of the restaurant and the food was amazing! We had the blackened grouper bites, I had the smoked chicken pasta and my husband had the pork schnitzel. We topped it off with the brown butter cake...OMG! Rachel was our server and took great care of us. Definitely recommend. We will be back!

This is our first time to be here. The place is cozy and nice atmosphere. The food was amazingly phenomenal, the flavors, taste presentation you name it all was amazing. Everyone was super nice specially our hostess!! The chef came and greeted us!! Me and my wife will make sure to be there at least once a month!

1. Server Madeline- very knowledgeable, friendly made the dinning experience very fun. I had the stuffed grouper, came with dinner salad, risotto & sautéed vegetables. Grouper was cooked perfectly, crispy crust, crab stuffing light and sweet. Dinner salad simple and tasty. Wine selection very good. My wife had mushroom ravioli, light cream sauce savory ravioli. Desert- brown butter cake, yep 5+ stars. Will be going back.

Such a great date night!!! The food was beyond amazing. Our server, Cassie, knew the menu, made amazing recommendations, and was always smiling. She made pur first experience there a memorable one. We will definitely be back!!!

Recently discovered this hidden gem probably the best strip steak I've ever had, the sauces are amazing, there in a true chef in their kitchen! I believe my servers name was cassey, she sets the standard that all servers should follow! can't wait to go back

Bistro 70 is the most wonderful jem in the heart of the City of Painesville! Chef Koenig visits my table every visit to check on my experience. Do yourself right and eat at Bistro 70. My empty plate speaks for itself. And bring your mother, darling! (Try the schnitzel!)

I’ve been here several times and the food is always great. I love the atmosphere and we our server Cassey is always on the ball. Can’t go wrong with a lobster bisque, filet mignon, and lava cake for dessert.

I can't believe I didn't know about this gem! The food is fabulous! Highly recommend.

We stopped by for dinner tonight after seeing lobster bisque on the menu - we are suckers for lobster bisque and this did not disappoint. Lobster bisque was excellent. The stuffed grouper was also very good. We can't wait to go back!

Always great service with a warm atmosphere. Bree was a gracious host behind the bar. From appetizers, to main course, this place never disappoints. A gem that's only a short drive.

This quaint restaurant is on point! Top notch service! Quality ingredients! The Bistro Burger is the juiciest I’ve ever had! The Chicken Melt is something amazing! The Brown Butter Cake is the best dessert in Lake County!

Enjoyed the experience. Cacey & Kyle provided very considerate service to our party of 9... desert of brown butter cake with vinella ice cream was great. I recomend the Sable fish but the salmon special also looked and smelled good. My brothers and sisters all enjoyed the atmosphere.

Was taken there by friends last nite, enjoyed the service, drinks and food. Keith recommended the Cod...awesome choice. Brown butter cake was to die for.... Look forward to returning next time we visit family.

Found this gem on google, and while not much to look at upon arrival, this place was excellent! The seafood dishes (lobster ravioli & seafood e aglioli) were some of the best we ever had. Bread and oil were great, salads came with the meal and were good too. Nice prices, even for wine - would easily go back again given the chance.

We had a very nice dinner with old friends. Our server was friendly and accommodating. The menu isn't terribly adventurous but everything was well prepared and presented.

Amazing restaurant with an excellent head chef and owner in Keith. My wife and I had multiple courses - baked Brie appetizer, salads, bread and oil, entrees including the blackened Tuna with risotto special and a chicken pasta, with drinks and dessert. Amazing quality. Yes, expect to pay higher prices, but you get what you pay for. Excellent food and service. Best in Painesville City.
