Secor Metropark

My family and dogs go for hikes here regularly, great place to stretch your legs. The trails looked to be recently restoned so they were nice to walk down, there was no mud at all on the trails we went on. This was very nice seeing it was late December for our walk.

Toledo area is blessed with amazing and beautiful parks and among them Secor Metropark is a gorgeous place to go for picnic, walk or spending time in woods. This park is huge and has beautiful walking trails in dense trees which looks lush green. I always enjoyed going deep into the woods, however there are other trails too which are wide and open. Indeed a great park and a place to be visited once in a while

Thanks to the unseasonably warm/ wet December, the trails were a bit muddy. I still prefer the dirt trails rather than the gravel or paved trails because it keeps the trails more natural, and the impact is easier on my bones. Others might need or prefer the gravel trails. It is nice that Secor Metropark has trails for both preferences. The sections with wood walkways were slippery and made me question whether I needed to replace my trusty my hiking boots!

The American Beech tree leaves, which color with the season change but keep some of their leaves during the winter, make for a quite picturesque forest.

My favorite Window on Wildlife is located at this Metropark. Beautiful landscaping, indoor & outdoor seating, short & long trails, clean restrooms, natural & man made water features, & a playground round out the experience. A lovely place to visit alone, on an afternoon date, or with children.

Very nice and clean. Beautiful scenery and the cemetery is a nice place to visit while at the park. There are nice restrooms and a cute playground.

Living nearby I just love jogging the Bluebird Habitat Trail. So quiet and peaceful.

The park was not crowded while we were ther. It is very accessible for all ages. My kids loved playing here!

Serene with tall trees. Bring your mosquito spray. Still biting in October.

Kids live the big park! Worth the drive out from Sylvania. The small park is more suited for toddlers.

Has trails to walk, a volleyball net, or sand for kids to play in, a nice playground, and a nice restroom.

Another beautiful Metropark with trails to enjoy and open areas for families and friends to enjoy.

I had.a company picnic there and it was great. Beautiful place. My dog enjoyed it as well.

Preserved natural landscape. .. what the area looked like prior to Euro-American impacts. Good trails, trees, swamp...

I took my dog there for a very nice walk. There is a great cemetery next door that is also interesting to see.

Toledo is so blessed to have a wonderful park system and Secor Metropark is another jewel in the crown! Trails, playground and more!

This is a hidden gem tucked away in the woods. I've rode the bike trails since I was a child. The new play area is nice for the kids. Mosquitoes are always bad in this area, so it's hard to avoid but that's part of getting back to nature. Wear spray, pack a lunch, and some bikes and enjoy your day with nature.
