Five Stars across the board for this yummy local Latin kitchen and bar. Atmosphere and food and service feels very authentic. I had their dish called the Mexican Flag and it was delicious! I also highly recommend mixing and matching their many different taco options.

Closest thing I have had to a west coast authentic Mexican restaurant. Amazing food. The service is really top notch. Usually not that busy either which is such a shame. I highly recommend the habanero salsa! Tacos are all good! I had the torta cubana yesterday it was sooo good.

Our New Go To!!!

For me, expectations of a Latin restaurant are established with the salsa. If it’s pale, soupy, and lacking lacking body, you can’t expect much more. At t’Kila, it’s deep red, thick and savory. We both had margaritas, though pricey, they were delicious. I had the Brisket Barbacoa Enchiladas and my wife had the Barbacoa Taco as well as 2 different chicken tacos. All were on point, however the brisket was exceptional. The rice and black beans were terrific too. Overall, the food was well balanced and appropriately spiced. The meal was a symphony of beautiful Latin favors. The Sat/Sun brunch menu looks great as well. We can’t wait to go back! I will add pictures from our next visit.

Our favorite sit down Mexican restaurant. The salsa is on point, and the Pollo Al Zarape is my go-to. The tender chicken in a flavorful sauce topped with bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and cheese is off the charts. The flavorful cheesy rice and super smooth refried beans makes it hard to crave anything else. Our waiter knows it's what I want the minute we come in!!

I’ve been hooked on t’kila since I moved to Ashburn last year. So many great items on the menu, and they nail the dishes every time. One of the best spots in the area!

Kind, inviting people work here. I was greeted with a happy smile, great service, a real margarita with fresh juice, and a nice conversation. The Pollo Poblano Mole was a rich complex dish - authentic Mexican. Great job guys, keep it up! You have got an amazing restaurant and Bar. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican Food, stop by t’Kila Latin Kitchen & Bar, right here in Landsdowne. 👏

Tkila has over 100 tequilas on their menu thus the name of the restaurant. In the past I tried several tequila flights, but be prepared to walk home or catch an Uber or Lyft. Many of the tequilas are smooth enough to sip. If you are lucky the Owner, JC will be in and he can tell you more about many of the tequila they offer. You can tell tequila is his PASSION.

The food is ALWAYS FRESH. I went in the other day for lunch and tried the chicken fajitas. They were very good and fresh as most of the food it. I am not a big sauce person, so if you order them ask for the sauce on top of the chicken on the side. The other picture is of de suadero (braised roasted & grilled beef brisket).

The restaurant has some updates with the massive wall of famous Latinos and Hispanics that is the length of the restaurant (my picture doesn't do the wall justice).

I normally have the Carne Asada (grilled skirt steak) with chimichurri, sauteed vegetables (onions and peppers), refried beans (no pork) and because of my dairy allergy I have fried plantains. I have tried to order Carne Asada at other restaurants including in Miami and nothing compares to Tkila's.

It is normally quite during lunch. However if you want to go for Happy Hour get there early because the place is usually packed. And don't forget to order some guacamole that is prepared table side.

This is a completely unassuming and unexpected Mexican restaurant in the middle of Sterling, VA. I visited early so there were not many other folks dining, and service was friendly and fast.

The standout is definitely the authentic quality of the sauces, molès, and salsa. They are fresh and not overly spicy so much so that you cannot taste the wonderful chiles.

For my meal, I had the Col de Bruselas (Brussels Sprouts) which could have been a little crispier but were an amazing and unusual find on a Tex-Mex menu. The pepitas and green chili sauce made up for any lacking crispy bits. The best part of my meal was definitely the Carnitas de Puerco, served with beans, fresh corn tortillas, two sauces, and pickled onions. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Definitely seek this place out.

Love them. The salsa is perfect. I don't like chunky Pico passed off as salsa. This is wonderful and pureed.

I got the Mole Enchiladas.
They were great. The Mole sauce was super rich, smokey, and delicious.

My wife got a beef tongue and an al pastor taco.
The beef tongue taco was great, and the al pastor left my wife wanting another.

We will definitely keep coming back! :)

This place is LEGIT. As in it is really good, and also it is really legitimate Latin food. Tortillas made in-house. Chorizo had just the right amount of spicey. Nachos had beans, meat, cheese, and smaller fixings. Excellent. They didn't skimp on anything. House salsa was a little smokey with just enough cilantro.
Service was helpful and attentive.
Prices were acceptable. Fed my family of 5 for $55 (two kids, one infant, no alcohol)
I will definitely eat here again.

AMAZING food. The server could boast a little less about her knowledge, and DEFINITELY apologize less for interrupting (she was great otherwise, so no need to keep saying she was sorry), but the tacos we're of the gods...

Anyone who loves spicy like I do needs to ask for the habanero sauce to try... Truly wonderful!

Our server was training a new waitress, who was quite good and respectful. She will be great! We will be back to put her through her paces, and hope that the place has an even more extensive menu for dinner and drinks by then.

This place is awesome. Delicious and fresh chips, salsa, drinks, and authentic Mexican food. Reasonably priced for great quality! The elote (corn on the cob) was super tasty, and the churros are amazing. 😍

Love this restaurant, it's a go-to for us! Great tacos - we especially like the Cochinita Pibil, Chilorio Steak, and Al Pastor. I also get the Pollo al Zarape entree which is super good. The fried plantains, guacamole, black refried beans, and cotija rice rock as well.

Marta was exceptional with the rest of staff! Table-side made guacamole gave me ASMR - or close to it - and was delicious!! The lava bowls helped keep the guacamole cold and fresh for our whole meal. Don’t be shy about asking about menu items! We ordered tacos and our favorite was al pastor. The corn on the cob passed by the table and sadly we had order before we knew about it, but it’s the legit corn on the cob! Can’t wait to go back. Also their tequila bar is full of options if you enjoy it!

Beautiful inside decor. Solid and strong margaritas. Excellent tacos. Highly recommend the cotija cheese rice. Fajitas are spot on and well seasoned. Highly recommend.

This has to be some of the best Mexican food in Loudoun! The waitstaff are also very nice and attentive, the restaurant is clean, and the prices are really good for the area. As someone who grew up in the Southwest and comes from a Mexican-American family, this restaurant is on par with the best places out west and my own family’s cooking! Get anything on the menu here, it’s all great!

Amazing food and service! I got the steak quesadilla and it was the best authentic quesadilla I’ve ever had. Crispy with the perfect ratio of steak and cheese. Comes on a plate with queso, pico de gallo, and guacamole for you to add your toppings as you like! 10/10

I worked at the original location years ago and recently moved a short drive from JC’s new location. Food, service, and selection is good as it ever was! Will always find my way back for some tacos and a drink.
