Great hotel in a great location. We checked out and left an item in the night stand. I called two weeks later and security had our item. Impressive! Movie theater is nice, pool is great and restaurants and bars also great. Straubs is right across the street where you can pick up snacks, wine and groceries.

LOVED this hotel. I stayed there for a company meeting and the rooms are amazing. I had a 1 bedroom with a really nice size living room and a nice size bathroom. The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of history.... pictures in the lobby of the past.... when we stayed there, they had a movie theater in the hotel....we just bought the popcorn. It is greatly situated with walking distance to restaurants and just walk around. We took an Uber to the Arch and it took about 10 minutes.

Only there for a late dinner. After the balloon glow. Both of us traveling one from NC one from Florida. Dear friends who needed to talk and renew. It was a great evening. Beautiful place. Great food. Thankful it was open later.

CAREN And Miguel, who works with her, could not have been more helpful. Every single number of your staff, bell apps, weight staff, made service. Everyone was so helpful in polite and professional.
Thank you so much. We attended a family wedding there. And you went about and beyond to help us and accommodate us. And make sure we had a wonderful stay and we sincerely appreciate it, thank you.

Excellent hotel in St Louis! I stayed in one of their suites, and the room was very large and comfortable. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful. There are a few great restaurant options on the main floor, and there is even a small movie theatre in the lobby!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel! Cannot say enough nice things about the hotel staff, who all made sure our stay was pleasant and we had everything we needed! Room service was fabulous! I want to especially thank Jalisa who gave me her personal umbrella 🌂 to use during our stay as it was raining 🌧 that day! I was so touched by her carrying attitude and attention to making sure we had what we needed! Great place to stay and the location is fabulous!!! Thank you so much 😊

Update: Stayed at the Chase Park Plaza again over December and it was delightful. The room was spectacular, the view amazing and the service was great!

Looking forward to visiting this summer again! I was contacted by management and the lack of umbrellas was temporary.

————————————————-

We stay at the Chase every year in the summer and love it, but this year the pool has no umbrellas, which has never been the case before.
No help or care from pool staff whose only response is that it’s hotel policy with no reasoning as to why this is the case.

Great experience, and the staff was very accommodating. The surrounding areas are plenty of restaurants and parks/zoo, also there’s a Movie Theatre attached to this hotel watched the Color Purple there.

Stunning place to stay. Love the history, location, everything was nice and the people were very polite including professional. The room was great as well. Has no issues with anything. Whole Foods, and everything for that matter is nearby. Also, there is a cinema on site. Various food options inside the hotel as well. We brought one of our canines, our can you English bulldog was welcomed by many.

I lost my phone and without pause or hesitation, Catrice came up to me and helped me locate it. It is my last night here and without her help, I’d be lost. She is phenomenal, calming, knowledgeable and helpful. She is a tremendous asset!!

Stay here every December for fundraising event! Never disappointed, but room price is always a bit overpriced for less than 24 hour stay! But always enjoy event hosted by this Hotel!

For our 18th anniversary, we caught a movie in the theater. The windows were horrible, cloudy, and dirty. Went to the wrong garage paid $30. Didn't see the other garage online. UseI the same clear detailed instructions you show on the screen inside online. Came back and found the garage, .which is really hidden.

It's a great place for just a getaway in town. You can have dinner and a movie and dancing. Plus, the rooms are romantic.

Honestly don't think I have stayed at a hotel that offered a better price/value ratio. We stayed off season, but still. And it's dog friendly! Valet was pricy, but what valet isn't?

We stayed five nights recently at this beautiful landmark hotel. We have family who live in St. Louis and have visited the city annually for the past 30 years. This was our first stay in The Royal Chase Park and it was by far our BEST ever stay in St Louis. I have stayed at The Four Seasons in the past yet this hotel is hands down an overall better choice. The hotel is grand, elegant, well kept and in a great Location in front of the beautiful Forest Park . But mostly it’s the hotel staff who make this place special: we would like to thank Toia who greeted us when we checked in at 1am after a late flight in from Miami. She went out of her way to get us settled into our rooms quickly and also recommended a great pizza shop who delivered us food in the middle of the night. . A special shout out to Theon and Caren at the front desk for their professionalism and efficiency in handling a couple of small hiccups that we had with our room keys and with dining reservations. Also Alice in the Preston Restaurant for being a fun server at breakfast every morning. And Sal the restaurant manager always greeted us with a smile and asked us every time
We saw him whether we were enjoying our stay. The reality is that the staff at this hotel made our stay here the feel like home away from home. Our suite was immaculately clean and spacious. The restaurants had good menus and the food was about as good as it gets for hotel food. Nothing special but a solid menu. They had live entertainment three of the nights we were there. Another neat feature is there is a movie theater located in the rear lobby. We didn’t realize it was there until our last day. There are a few blocks of great shops right outside the front door of this hotel . You literally could walk to Whole Foods and Schaubs from here. We also took walks through the beautiful Forest park twice. It’s directly across the street. It’s the best located hotel in the city of St. Louis in my opinion. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s now our favorite hotel in the city of St. Louis.

Such a beautiful hotel with so much history. Can’t say enough about the accommodations and the staff. We loved staying here and would definitely return if ever in the area again. It even has its own theatre! How cool is that?

This was easily one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I had to make a last minute change of hotels, so we booked pretty late. For this reason, the rooms were expensive. However, it was well worth our money. The hotel is gorgeous and the front desk, concierge, and room service were great.

Pros: Gorgeous hotel w/ clean rooms, fresh towels and sheets each day, dark curtains, beautiful pool, strong drinks, awesome amenities, and helpful and accommodating staff. We were able to check in nearly 3 hours early and they allowed us a late check out, as we had a very late flight that day. I think we got charged $50, but not sure yet. I don’t mind, we were able to stay until 2 PM. They also held onto our luggage at the front while we spent our last day at the pool. Soft sheets, mini fridge, comfortable bed. We also had a little attached living room with a couch, desk, and mini fridge. We had no idea our room would have this, so that was a nice surprise. Pool was beautiful, cool, deep, and clean. There were plenty of towels available. The location was nice and felt safe. We don’t know a whole lot about the area, but I felt safe the entire time. Nice view of Forest Park across the street. Oh and there were little details like a “beauty package” with sponges to remove makeup, a shower cap, and q-tips. Not to mention a walk in closet as well. Shower didn’t just have those tiny bottles of travel sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but actual large dispensers. This was a huge pro! Location was good, about 15 minute Uber ride from Busch Stadium. We didn’t do much exploring so I couldn’t tell you if there was a whole lot around the hotel, but I know the zoo is right there and it’s free.

Now for the cons—most of these were out of their control and I wouldn’t dock a single star for it. However, still worth a mention as I think constructive criticism is always good for improvement. The food we ordered up to room service wasn’t great. I had a sandwich and my husband had a wrap. We asked for waters (with our luck, we were there during an insane heat wave where the humidity was off the charts. Even coming from Texas where its been over 100 degrees for a solid month, I was sweaty and incredibly thirsty) and two different times of asking we still didn’t receive our waters. I get the feeling that since COVID many hotels are short-staffed so I get it. It was just a recurring theme of not receiving waters after asking at the bar as well. That brings me to the bar. It’s gorgeous, they played live music most nights, and the drinks are great. The cons? There were several weddings in town and I guess the wedding guests were all staying at the hotel b/c it was slammed. On our last day I stood at the bar for over 20 minutes and was constantly overlooked and not served while patrons who had just walked up were being served. I noticed if I sent my husband to get the drinks, he was served much faster. Didn’t love that. I understand being slammed and understaffed, but to have the bartender look at me several times and still help another patron wasn’t the best feeling. I come from service industry and I know how horrible it can be to be incredibly busy, so I’m going to chalk it up to that. I wish the pool and pool bar were either connected or that servers could take orders by the pool. Again, maybe this was something the hotel used to do and stopped after COVID. But I had to put my shoes on with wet feet and put clothes on every time I wanted another drink by the pool. This was kind of a pain and maybe there’s a more efficient way? Not to mention, the bar by the pool (which is also the bar for the rest of the hotel) could use a serious blast of AC. I felt bad for the bartenders, servers, and patrons. It was very muggy in there.

Besides those little quirks, I would literally return to St. Louis simply to go back to this hotel. It was pure elegance and so clean. A storm came out of nowhere and ruined our pool day, which was sad. We played some chess next to the in-house movie theatre instead. All in all, It really was a wonderful stay.
