Katrina is the best hair stylist in MKE!!! She will work with you to make your inspo come true, she loves conversing with clients and makes you feel right at home. Katrina is someone who lights up a room with her humor and talent!! Everytime I go to her I got sooooo many compliments afterwards! 💕💕

Scheduled a Head Spa and immediately noticed how affordable Kookai Salon was to other salons I’ve researched. While other head spas range from $150-350, Kookai Salon was a no brainer choice!

One thing right off the bat I really appreciated how patient and meticulous Katrina was with me! She took her time and didn’t rush! She took the opportunity to get to know me and build the foundation for a friendship that is hard to find now.

Day before my appointment, Katrina (owner and stylist) accommodated my last minute change in schedule with no problem.

Day of my appointment, I found the salon clean, presentable, and super welcoming! I was offered drinks and snacks and immediately got to business! Katrina quickly identified my concerns with my dry scalp and provided suggestions that would be best for my hair. In total my appointment lasted about an hour and a half and was amazing! Katrina made the environment inviting and supportive for future visits! WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS SMALL MILWAUKEE VISIT AS IT IS TRULY A HIDDEN GEM!

I was very nervous to get my hair cut but right from the start, Katrina put me at ease. 🥹
She is personable, attentive and caring. She took her time and made sure she explained step by step what she was going to do. Her passion for what she does is evident. It’s wonderful to have found my forever stylist, and I LOVE my hair!! ❤

This place came recommended to me by a friend, and I can see why! Katrina is super nice, understood and worked with my hair, and gave me what I consider the best haircut and styling I've had probably for my whole life, not exaggerating. I wish I took pictures of my hair that day to show off the work she did. I plan to keep going to her in the future, I'm super happy to have found her!

Katrina is a little magician. She listens to what you want, recommends the best option and then works her magic. I always enjoy my visit to her salon and look forward to the next one.

Katrina is the absolute best! I first met Katrina when my hair was fried from coloring and would not grow. She always explains why she can or can’t do something and gives the best recommendations for products and up keep. Her prices are hard to beat and her work is beautiful! Not only will Katrina become your forever hairstylist, but she will be your forever friend! I am very picky with my hair, but even before the service began, she made me feel so comfortable. She made sure to ask me questions about my wants, needs, goals, etc. Allowed me time to show her pictures of what I wanted too! I’ve been back several times since my first visit & will only see her from now on. She gives me her honest suggestions & does everything to keep my hair extremely healthy so I can continue growing my hair long. I fully trust her with my hair & always feel so pampered when I visit :)

Katrina is my cousin’s only trusted hair stylist, so I knew I was in good hands when I had her do my hair. All I can say is this girl is an ARTIST. She perfectly got the haircut and color I wanted — from virgin black hair to a full head of blonde highlights. I love how she says what she thinks would look good, but ultimately listens to what the client wants.
