Shelly's Uptown Grill

A very nice small town eatery. The walls are decorated with all types of sports memorabilia. The place is clean and inviting. They have five beers on tap. The food is pretty good also. Ordered today's special, a lamb gyro. My wife had the same, and we shared an order of fried. The gyro was pretty good, loaded with meat, tomato, and red onion. Fries were hot and crispy. They went well with some malt vinegar. Shelly's wasn't very crowded, so we picked our own seats. Our server also worked the bar, but that did not slow service. A nice lunch experience.

A warm and cozy place that feels comfortable. Crab bisque soup is amazing best restaurant bisque we have had. My picky fried pickle eater loved them. We were waited on immediately by very friendly staff. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Wish I would have found this place sooner!!! Really cool vibe with amazing food. Sports themed with some great memorabilia. I had the fish sandwich and now I want to try the whole menu. It is worth checking this place out!!

We've had consistently great food since the new ownership. Everything is cooked perfectly and tastes delicious!

First time trying the place out tonight. Good food, service, and price. Had a guy in playing music for entertainment as well. We'll be back

I stopped in here the night of the festival and fireworks. I'm glad I did. It was packed but the waitress (with glasses) came right over and she was very nice and helpful. The bartender (with the awesome braided pigtails) even came out from the bar to see if I was ready to order. (I already ordered) They were all doing their jobs and helping eachother. That is rare these days. I can say that the atmosphere was great. It seemed like a really nice place for all ages the crowd was full of friendly people. I ordered the inferno boneless wings with hand cut fries. The food came out at a normal waiting time as other places but everything was hot & fresh and very delicious. To my surprise, the wings were a really good size and you can tell they didn't sit the food under a heat lamp. It was all made to order. The fresh cut fries were better than the food stands outside. Keep up the great job and don't change a thing! 5 stars well deserved!

Today was our first time eating here and it was amazing. The food was fresh and delicious and our server was very helpful, friendly and always on top of the refills. I’m glad we found this spot and can’t wait to go back.

Called and placed an order togo. When I got there I wished I had dined in. The place had great atmosphere and both the staff and other patrons were friendly. I ordered the 2 pieces fish dinner. It was delicious!!! I also ordered the tater tot bombs. They came with what appeared to be a ranch sour cream mixture with chives in it. It went perfect with the the tots! I will definitely be back!!!

Interesting Sports memorabilia.Great Staff, very friendly and attentive. Reasonable prices, appetizers could use some quality improvements. But they always have fresh, quality sandwichs and entrees.

My son and I come here for breakfast almost every weekend. The atmosphere is fun and the service is always over the top. My son is 3 and has autism so sometimes he is loud and everyone is always so kind to us and usually stops by to compliment how happy he is. We don’t get that welcomeness everywhere. And the food is always amazing too! So glad we have this place to go so close to home. :)

The young gentleman that works here is absolutely amazing.Im not sure if there are more waiters but... He definitely knows his stuff.
Traveling a lot, as I do, hands down, he made my night. It's really nice to go out, and have a server treat us as well as he had.
I've been to this business in the past. When it was, whatever it was called. The service was absolutely terrible. I never returned until last night.
Of Course it is now run by new owners. The prices are fair priced, and reasonable. Drinks were ordered and delivered quickly.
It was fairly busy as well. Family friendly, and from what I observed, not many belligerent or unfriendly folks.
I would highly recommend this place of business to my friends and family.
P.s I believe the young gentleman's name might of been Anthony.

Excellent food and service! Had the chipps burger and it was fantastic. I like the atmosphere and is nice for if you wanna bring your kids in for food. The decor is well done and overall have had a fantastic experience here. 10/10 would recommend and come back again!

Absolutely amazing. Love the wings, atmosphere, waiters, and even customers. The Amarican decor really makes it feel like home. Waitresses are the kindest. 10/10 would recommend going their for a meal!

Food was awesome except, bacon was a little slack only 2 really small pieces, service needs just a little tweaking like make sure silverware on table so you don’t have to ask for it. Also bring menus to table when server comes to ask what drinks are needed so we don’t have to ask for them! Friendliness was there as well as good teamwork!
Definitely way better than Gambles & will absolutely go back. Had lunch there the other day which was awesome!

Food / prices and service is top notch.

Awesome food and awesome staff. We have been there many times and have never left disappointed. There are many great selections on the menu but I usually favor the hamburgers which are all half pound. Very nice pub like atmosphere.

There's options for all diets here! I just moved to the area and I was really happy to visit a place where i could get a vegan burger! (There's much more) It was delicious! The friendly staff and clean environment was also a big plus! I'm excited to check out the live music nights soon!
