Very lucky to find much of anything in this area, much less such a high quality coffee shop. Really enjoyed the mocha that I had and the service was great. I also stole most of their drinking water (with their permission) to refill my camping water jug. Prices were very reasonable and I got extra Google guide points for updating their operating hours

Has always been a go too. Come on, Green Chile quiche and sour cream coffee cake. Nantucket nectar and Big B's as well as other alternatives if you just want an amazing cinnamon roll, bear claw, breakfast burrito or maybe you like muffins. Great Place! Always has been!

I'm a big cappuccino fan and you rarely find a coffee shop anymore that can make a true cappuccino. This place nailed it. Great coffee and cute little shop. Give it a stop for sure.

Casual, friendly place to get a cup of tea or coffee. They roast beans too - they make some excellent blends from their beans. Homemade baked goods.

I went with my family to this coffee house and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere! It's so cozy and comfy as well as having the sweetest staff. I ordered a spiced chai and a raspberry turnover and it was the most delicious drink and mouth watering food I've had in a long time! I love this place and highly recommend anyone going through the Hotchkiss area to stop by!

Although we can find a million reasons to disagree with one another, Coaltrain coffee will always be something that we can agree on. The coffee served is locally roasted right here in the North Fork Valley. Most of the pastries and goodies that are sold here are homemade and are recipes that took a lot of time to perfect. With that being said, The Coaltrain has been around for a while now and the shop, along with the owner and staff have all become a big part of our lives. So, when you ask a local where to get a cup of coffee and they recommend Rhonda at the Coaltrain, now you know why. (Remember, a lot of time and love went into the coffee and muffin that you bought today.)

We had a very good breakfast with great coffee. The owner give us some pointers on what to see and where to ride. A nice clean fresh atmosphere.

Sweet, quiet ambiance. I loved the bacon asparagus quiche and the vanilla chai. There's a also a small meeting room you use/reserve for no charge (at this time).
