Alton Playground and Dogpark

Great covered kids park with soft ground for kids of all ages. Dog park has separate large and small dog areas plus obstacles for the dogs.

Dog park adjoining to playground. Play structure is for ages 2-6. Turf (fake grass) footing with shade canopies to save the kids and toys from the baking heat. Decent parking and large grass area for flag football or other activities

First time there and its a lovely local dog park with attentive dog owners. Will visit again soon 👍🏻

Like new, beautiful park for kids and toddlers. Lots of shade. The zip lines are so much fun for the kids. Washrooms are easily accessible. Park is enclosed for children-safety. Love!!

Kiddos loved this park. The zip lines are a unique feature that most kids should be able to ride. Very nice, well kept park with clean amenities.

The playground is well-covered, it says it's for ages 2-12, there's always plenty of kids, and our family always has a good time.

Many enrichment features. Has an all dogs and small dogs sides. Has play park and outdoor exercise available. Not much shade, but the play park is covered. It would be great if people picked up after their pooches though! Also parking seems to be sparse.

UPDATE :Biked by Friday AM. Dog park teeter totter looked broken :( Admittedly my dog was unsure about it. But I did like the feature. Hopefully repair or replace is an option.

Great park, but its closed for maintenance, anyone know when this might reopen?

This is an A+ family park right off of Donald Ross Road. Shade sails, multiple levels of play equipment for the kids, bathrooms nearby. And soft turf for parents and babies. The only thing missing are some benches inside the fenced in playground area!

Let us know when the new shade sails come in and it is reopened!

A terrific playground for the children. An exercise area for the adults. The dog parks are spacious and it's great to watch them play. Clean restrooms too. Could use more parking spaces and benches.

Clean park with 2 nice dog areas one for over and one for under 30 pounds. The kids playground is nice with lots of things to keep them busy. Park is away from heavy traffic or noise.

Go there multiple times per week, mostly good group of dogs and people, many regulars, and they fixed the dog fountain!

Shaded playground. Very clean. Swings. Slides. Activities. Field. My 2 year old enjoyed.

We love how this playground is covered by canopies. It makes it somewhat bearable to be at a playground in the summer! This playground is clean, well kept, and fun!

That Dog park is Mom and I favorite park for dogs. It is not to crowded. There are alot of other dogs at that dog park. We take our dog Teak there.

Nice playground. Grandsons really like it and there is good shading and artificial grass.
