Been here only once, but will definitely come again! Love the food everything was spot on. Must try their civiche, BBQ ribs, palta rellena, yucca croquettes

Good service. Seafood paella is very tasty. The cebiche tasting is a little over price compared the size. Garlic bread is a must try.

Took my wife there for her birthday, recommended by Ritz-Carlton half moon bay. It was our first experience of Peruvian food in the US and we liked it a lot. Even vegetarian food was pretty delicious. Nice family hangout. Service was great. Will go again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this Peruvian restaurant. We ordered a variety of food to try and were pleased with every single dish. Service was great and accommodating to our fur baby. The patio is setup with heaters and firepits. We highly recommend this place!

Strongly strongly recommended! Props to the chef for making the Peruvian dishes so delicate and delicious! Portions are big especially for the appetizers.
It is rare that i enjoyed every single dish of a cuisine type that i am not used to!

Cibeche was fresh and delicious too. I have been to Peru and i think the most authentic cibeche was more sour. The cibeche here caters to my taste!

Yesterday, we celebrated my mother-in-law’s 81st birthday at La Costanera in Half Moon Bay. From the way we were greeted as we entered to the amazing service from our server and the absolutely delicious food. I’m going to go five stars all the way!

Amazing Peruvian food, in a casual and laid-back ambiance. Beautiful decor as well. You must try their Suspiro de Limena as dessert 🍨. Sometimes, you gotta wait a bit before being served. Otherwise, quite friendly staff and nice, relaxed ambiance. Located right beside water, on highway 1. Excellent choice for occasional dinner dates 😀, but they close at 9 and stop seating after 8:30 pm, so be there on time.

Fantastic food, especially the sea food ( the ceviche were exquisite). The place is amazing, and the ambiance was fantastic with a singer performing Latin American songs and 🎵

The location of this restaurant is perfect for watching the sunset while enjoying drinks and food. During our visit here we just had drinks as we had already eaten and were looking for a place to grab Peruvian beverages. We highly recommend Pisco Sour, Chicha Mule, and Cusquena. The drinks are pretty pricey at an average of $17 each. This is higher than other Peruvian restaurants we ate and drank at. But, worth the experience. We will be returning here when we visit the Bay Area.

Whenever we visited Half Moon Bay in the morning, we've walked by many times but were always too early to eat at the restaurant. Make sure you do reservations. Although they accept walk-ins, we came when they had events on the second floor. The restaurant allows dogs in the outside area. Unfortunately, no dog menu, so our fur babies had to wait until we left to get their food. Otherwise a great experience.

There was an car accident on the way back and it would take hours to get through. I was a little pissed and decided to turn around to find some food. We now thank the not so good driver to let us find this gem restaurant by the sea. My wife was never this happy about the food and place. All the dishes are delicates, authentic, and good looking. We were so impressed by Peruvian food and tried another chain restaurant Limon weeks later, not good at all. We hope to come back next time.

Twice as netter than the photos. Every Atom of the place wD designed by someone paying ALOT of attention to detail. Food is the same. Very fine establishment at affordable prices.

This place was one hell of find. I’ve been craving good seafood in the bay, and this place hit the spot and some, me and our group ordered drink which we started with pisco flight sour which was amazing, we ordered the calamari chicharnones for a starter and it blew our minds on how delicious it was. We had ordered for entrees the pulpo (octopus) which came with purple mash potatoes it was so delicate and delicious, we had also ordered the cebiche tasting and the mixto the flavoring on everything was insane not to mention we ordered sides of elote (corn) and it was massive and very tasty. I definitely can’t wait to travel back to half moon bay to try the rest of the menu.

Amazing delicious food! We can't wait to be back. The staff is amazing. Met the general manager who personally came to see how everything was going. I can't recommend this place enough! Get the pana cotta! Best dessert in the planet!

Everything was good. My friends ordered so I don’t know exactly what we got but we did have a coconut ceviche with shrimp that is not part of the ceviche sampler. Yum! Sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had. We had a shrimp with tomatoes and grilled bread that made me want to drink the sauce.

I’m not a big empanada fan so I don’t think I’d order it again. We had the chicken.

And the regular pisco sour was not only delicious but cute too.

Go with several people so you can share dishes and try multiple things.

We were recently in Half moon bay for the day and decided to have dinner here. We were pleasantly surprised by all the great food, drinks and service we had. We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. The hostess let us sit at the bar and order drinks before our table was ready. The Pisco sour was delicious. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and pescado ala macho and lomo saltado as mains. Both dishes had incredible flavor. We'll definitely return here if we're ever in the area.

Started with the octopus and calamari. The octopus was fantastic. The wife and I shared the steak for the main course and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant because everything was great right down to the lava cake. We will be going back again this weekend.

Incredible service, delicious and well-made dishes! The ocean view is astonishing. We'll come back! Very modern feeling, different to typical seafood restaurants in the area.

Absolutely amazing experience. Completely blown away by the pescado a lo macho which is intensely flavorful and well simmered. Seafood quality is top notch. The ceviche fish of the day was snapper; again fresh, perfectly seasoned, with nuts and nice corns which added an extra layer of texture. Lomo saltado is so tender and full of umami. Pisco sour was made in a nicely decorated and cute way. The restaurant is nicely decorated and seating is comfortable. First came here many years ago, and its quality is still maintained. Dog friendly at patio.
