I had a wonderful experience. Less than 10min in the waiting room and then not a long wait for the doctor. I had labs after and waited less than 5 min. Staff is helpful, polite, and upbeat. Seems like everyone there loves their job and is there for the right reasons.

Absolutely the best OB care I’ve experienced. They helped make my first pregnancy amazing! Always made me feel heard, and comfortable. The front desk staff is also kind & pleasing to speak with. Truly didn’t have an unpleasant experience with any of the nurses or other OBs I had to see if I booked on a day Dr. Keri Purcott wasn’t in office. Would highly recommend..especially if this is your first pregnancy! The office in Encinitas is also great. Thank you to the staff of 2017-2019 for providing such great care.

It has made moving to a different state, & seeing a new provider challenging. The care where I am now, just doesn’t seem to compare to Scripps!

My experience with the OBGYN department here has been amazing, they are friendly, kind, patient in answering any and all of my questions. They were so helpful and attentive during my first pregnancy that I feel confident and comfortable with going on my second journey with Scripps. Thank you for your service, please don't stop giving patients the care you have given me.

My experiences here have been nothing but positive! No long waits. Today was the BEST...I was in for a shot & have a terrible fear of needles ...I explained to the nurse that I get panic attacks & pass out sometimes...she took great care of me & I didn't feel a thing. After the shot, she patiently waited for me to get a drink of water & made sure I was okay. Thank you so much for your kindness!

4:00pm was my appointment for a flu shot, 4:15pm I was outside, very happy to be able to get my vaccine at this location.

They call you to be present for appt 15 mins early. I was 10 mins late and waited 10 mins in queue. They cancelled my appointment saying you need to be 30 min early if new patient. Maybe they need to update their automated call service and don't create troubes for patients specially in these Covid times.

I had many complications from my IUD but the practice could not care less! Quite literally they didn’t want to make time to see me. I called to make an appointment regarding my excessive bleeding and pain but would get responses like your doctor is on vacation. The person on the phone said the doctor on call suggests you go to the ER. This happened twice within a two month span when I called during working hours. Even once the IUD was removed I kept having excessive bleeding and cramping during my following cycles. I was disappointed because the ER would just refer me back to them. It felt like they didn’t care about me at all, I’d recommend going elsewhere for care.

This review is for the call center/office staff.(I love Dr. Kari Purcott, and I would have continued going to her years ago if my insurance hadn't changed.)

We recently got new insurance which allowed me to go back to Dr. Purcott. I made an appointment at the end of April for July 2nd. I received the paperwork in the mail to complete along with an appointment card confirming the appointment. On Friday, June 28th, I received an automated call confirming my appointment. The day of my appointment (this morning) less than two hours before my scheduled time, I receive a call from the office saying that I need to reschedule my appointment because it was made in error by the call center. I call the call center back, and they can't give me a real reason why my appointment is cancelled and that the earliest they can reschedule me is Sept. 24th... After I've already waited two plus months for the original appointment.

I was furious. I work in a small office during the week, and it's not easy to get time off during the day for doctor's appointments. For them to cancel my appointment an hour and 45 minutes before is unacceptable and unprofessional. I called my new primary physician's office at Greybill, and they were able to schedule me in three weeks.

As much as I love Dr. Purcott, I am probably done with Scripps.

I have to agree with the previous two reviewers about the office staff. Clearly they don't care about patients or their boss's business. I made an appointment thinking I was going to the Encinitas location. I took sick leave to do so since the only appointment was during my work day. Low and behold, I find out the Encinitas office no longer exists. When I called the office to see what was going on, I was treated poorly by some condescending office staff member. Why I was not told in advance of an office location change is beyond me. Why they don't contact google to inform them of the business address change is also beyond me. I will not get my sick time back. I will not go to a business or medical practice that allows their employees to act like that nor doesn't pay attention to the details that have a negative impact on their existing patients.

Learn how to communicate. It sure isn’t brain surgery to use a phone or your internal messaging app that you request us to use as patients.

STAY AWAY! I've been to many hospitals but this one is a new all-time low for me! The place is old and decrepit! The staff is crazy and full of attitude! I will definitely go to another hospital next time!
