Sturbridge Seafood

Stopped here for a late lunch, wasn't very crowded. Amanda G greeted me with a warm smile. Had the fish and chips, was served a generous portion of cod and fries. Fish was cooked perfectly, still warm from the fryer. Great music in the background to enjoy your meal.

Arrived in town late this evening and when checking Google for dinner options this place caught my eye and I am glad it did! After dropping my luggage in my room, I called in a carry out order. The person who took my order was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to help making selections. The food was hot and fresh (or iced and fresh) when I got back to my room. As someone who chooses carry out often, I expect the quality and presentation to fall short. Sturbridge Seafood has the carry out process perfected, this is likely the BEST carry out meal I have ever had. I had chowder. Shrimp cocktail, fried shrimp and fries and topped it all of with a piece of key lime pie.

Due to large portion sizes I had to tap out on some of the fries and chowder but everything was fresh, tasty and prepared as request. Next time I will dine it, if takeout is this good dining in has to be incredible. Well done, thank you for a great meal.

We stumbled upon Sturbridge Seafood and so glad we did. The food, service and atmosphere were awesome. The power tower was awesome and tasty. The beers were ice cold with a good selection. We both got taco's, one fish and one shrimp. Everything was hot and service was excellent. Stop in you won't be disappointed.

Ate as a group of 5 on the way back to NC. They have options for those who don't like seafood ( Mac and cheese and an amazing Cajun chicken alfredo). Pasta and fish and chip portions are huge so you'll probably have more than enough for later. Waitress/hostess was so nice and friendly. We went on a Tuesday around 1pm and were the only ones in there but the food was so good.

Food was excellent. The chowder fries….😋. We are ex restaurant owners and not always easy to please. Amanda G our server was really attentive and pleasant and we are pretty fussy 😉

This place was a huge surprise. Perfect example of don't judge a book by its cover. The service was 5 star, the food was amazing. From the apps, chowder fries, and sweet n spicy calamari. To the entrees. There are too many to name. We ordered 6 of them, and they were all amazing. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend it. Can't wait to go back.

Omgosh!!! Fried Scalllops, say what??? So amazing! Fish Sandwich also delish. Great service too. Don’t forget the Apple Gorganzola salad!

We are traveling from PA and got off the highway because of a traffic jam. We found this restaurant and are very happy we did. It was adorably cozy and clean inside. Our waitress (Teive, I believe) was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. If we lived nearby, we would be regular customers.

We were passing through and decided to go here and we couldn't have selected a better place. The service was phenomenal! The chowda fries were amazing!!! The fish and chips were great. The fish was fried to perfection. The clam chowder was great. This was my first time ever trying a lobster roll so I'm not really sure how it should taste, but I would probably have preferred a lot of butter on it. I took him to celebrate his birthday and they added candles to his dessert. It also tasted wonderful. The food portions are large and if we're ever up this way again we would definitely visit.

We were driving through Sturbridge and we saw this restaurant. It looked new inside. Very clean. The waitress was good. The food was good. The fries were delicious. My only suggestion is to include Cole slaw with the fish and chip meal. I had to order a side of cole slaw because it wasn't included? Otherwise, this is a good restaurant.

They were fully booked but put us in by the kitchen ( I preferred that anyway). Huge crab cake appetizer, so yummy ! The Fish N Chips are the best I've ever had anywhere. Thank you Chef

This place is amazing. The food was fresh and well prepared. Our server, her name was Brooke, was outstanding. Her knowledge of the menu was extraordinary. Her service was what one would expect from a 5 star establishment and beyond. Would recommend this place 1,000 times to a 1,000 people...

Had a blast with the wait staff while out with my friend... highly suggest doing an oyster flight... A+ all around great place to start the warm season off with my first lobster 🦞 roll of 2023.

Ong the ckam chowder and paella.... Best in USA

WOW! That's the best way to describe the food here. The clam chowder is the best I've had, ever. The Oyster tower we ordered was plentiful, crisp and clean. There were delicious little neck clams and some really meaty cocktail shrimp. Also inexpensive compared to all the others throughout New England. Great decor with a cozy feel and the staff was fantastic.

If you go be prepared to eat a big meal. Very large portions. 1 meal can feed 2. Everything was good. I ended up taking half home for another meal.

Phenomenal!! Just an absolute gem of a restaurant! Fish was huge and super crisp!! And you know how anywhere you take home the leftover fish and chips and the fish goes soggy, not this fish!! Still crispy and after like 5 minutes in the air fryer it was like new!! My wife is leaving me for a man named Bernard, I know that's not applicable to the review but I just needed to get that out.

The food here is amazing! Compliments to all the chefs! My family and I really enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress Melanie was so so so awesome! From drinks to the extra things we requested she was on it and stayed to course throughout our entire stay. I highly recommend this spot! And if you get anything and wish it had a sauce, please have the chef with the red hair hook you up with the sauce they use for the muscles and shrimps! It pairs absolutely amazingly with anything!!! Omg! We're full as a tick and happier than a kid in candyland! Yes the food is all of that! Trust me!

Had dinner at Sturbridge Seafood last night - great service, atmosphere, and wow the food! Been visiting since they opened and never been disappointed.
