Bottle Stop Wine Bar

Had a great time tonight at bottle stop wine bar. The staff exuded warmth and sophistication and they graciously answered even my most novice questions about wine pairings which added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. The restaurant is perfect for girls night or date night. The diverse clientele makes it an extra fun atmosphere for any occasion. The oceana Chardonnay stole the spotlight, and the chicken korma was a stand out dish that was amazing. The pricing is surprisingly reasonable, given the high-quality of the offerings. great place to eat, we will go again!

I am in constant awe of The Bottle Stop. Not only is the selection of wines and whiskeys impressive, but the very knowledgeable ladies here truly make the experience unforgettable. Their knowledge and passion for their craft are evident in every drink they serve and is always paired perfectly with their delicious and moderately priced choices of food.

Aside from their skills behind the bar, they have a genuine warmth and enthusiasm that you can’t find anywhere else and they welcome everyone with open arms and friendly conversation. I would recommend anyone and everyone to come by and enjoy this experience!

Great little wine bar in Occoquan!!! I love to come here and do a couple of wine flights and try new wines! And I also absolutely love love love love their bacon wrapped dates! A must try! It’s so addicting. And the best part….they are dog friendly and super nice! I brought my Golden multiple times and my clients dog and they treat them like royalty 🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩 the staff is the best!

I discovered this hidden gem early spring with my boyfriend and I live in the area. It’s quaint and the ambience inside gives you that nice and bougie feel! Bottle Stop is an establishment that is so inviting that you just want to just chill for hours. Okay, the wine and whiskey collection is exceptional. Let’s talk about the food…so so good!!! From the presentation to every bite, it’s like an experience happening in your mouth. I brought my girlfriends here for a birthday dinner and they also fell in love. This place is such a vibe, special and anything you order, you are not disappointed. You know something is good when the entire table is silent because they are having a moment with the food or talking about the food. That is Bottle Stop!

My second time here and I loved it! Will definitely will be returning again and again! The vibes are chill and comfy, the service is top (special shoutout to the bartender & waitress - Savannah), and the food… AMAZING. I ordered the bacon wrapped meatloaf and had a taste of my friend’s caesar salad. So good! Also happy hour is from 4-7pm, wine is only $7! If you’re ever in the Occoquan area, visit this place!

We rolled the dice and came in on a Saturday without a reservation at about 6:30 pm. We were pleasantly surprised to hear that there were tables available. If you want to sit outside you probably should call ahead though because all of those tables were taken. We were served very quickly. They have a great wine selection, and a decent selection of beers as well. The food was delicious, but this is an upscale place so just keep that in mind when you are considering portion size. It's definitely quality over quantity. I had the crab cakes platter and it was actually a perfect amount of food, but my wife got the scallops and she said it was delicious but it wasn't a lot of food. She definitely didn't complain but in retrospect we probably should have gotten an appetizer as well! Very cozy environment with just enough privacy but also a feeling of being connected and aware of the other people in the restaurant. Definitely highly recommend and we'll be coming back in the future.

We celebrated our intimate wedding here and couldn’t have had a better experience. Kim (the owner) and her staff are delightful and thoughtful. They were attentive with every detail from curating the menu, offering a fantastic bar service, and setting up our decor. Absolutely recommend the Bottle Stop and will continue to support this local gem.

Cute spot! The service is nice and the restaurant itself is clean and great to look around. The drinks are delicious. The food needs a little more flavor, especially for the price they advertise. But the salmon appetizer is delectable; I loved it. A very creative menu though! Thank you for making the Columbian Moscow Mule and providing the leftover ginger beer! One of the most tastiest I've had.

Absolutely delicious food! Stopped in Occoquan to get out of 95 traffic—we picked a gem! The bacon-wrapped meatloaf was delicious; the Greek Lamb burger was delicious as well! Though they should make their fries “bottomless”! Will definitely stop here again.

One of those nice spring days sandwiched between cold days. It is so nice to be outside and go somewhere. The food was delicious and the wine selection was wonderful. So glad we live close because we will definitely be back.

Update spring ‘23: this place is still spot on for food. My one complaint…..only 3 teeny pieces of asparagus? Come on.

The service was good and the food was fantastic. Had the bacon wrapped meatloaf with crispy Brussel sprouts and my friend had the chicken pot pie. The staff was super friendly.

My husband and I have been coming here every week for the past year or so, and we love everything about it! The food and wine are delicious, the service is great, and the staff are fantastic! We truly see this restaurant as our "happy place," and the staff have become almost like a second family. They also have a wonderful wine club, which allows us to try different wines every month. We also get discounts on our food and drinks as wine club members, which is an added bonus!

Went here with my hubby and in laws. They were running a little slow because there was only one cook and one server BUT the food was worth the wait. I ordered the kimchi and candied bacon burger and it was to die for! I loved their fries also. My hubby got the special which was a chicken and waffles dish and he loved it. My MIL got the grilled cheese and my FIL got the burger but with cheddar cheese and we all cleared our plates. Three of us had the beer, Ten Fidy, potent and delicious!!
Yes it took long, yes we were hungry but we also considered their situation. They still gave us an amazing experience. We will most likely come back next week :)

This is a nice little place to eat. Even though it is a wine bar they have an excellent selection of beer as well. The grilled cheese, lamb burger, and hamburgers are all really good. But my go to has become the ratatouille. They also have a wine of the month club, and membership earns you a 10% discount on your meals. My wife has enjoyed the wines she has gotten each month. And your canine companion is welcome to join you in the outside seating area.

Wine and beer selection a wonderful welcome. Bonus of flight options for wine. I ordered the chicken salad, I can't prep anyone on how amazing it was (Im not a salad for dinner kinda chic) ... hot chicken too. Husband ordered beef sliders, super yum, but he still picked at mine too.

Bottle Stop exceeded our expectations. High end food, drinks and service in a small town! The cocktails were impressive and crafted with care and the food was truly fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

Quaint, clean, great wine and beer selection and great food. Right in the heart of downtown Occoquan. Indoor, outdoor, and inside sitting available.

Great place with very friendly and attentive staff. Nice menu, the lamb ragu and lamb burger were fantastic. Excellent wine and solid beer selection. This will definitely be one of our “go-to” date spots from now on.

My wife and I visited this place last night for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. We were super pleased. Bottle Shop offers a great atmosphere, great service, ample street parking, great food, very good prices, excellent wine selections (you are able to taste as many, or all, the wines by creating your own wine flight), and again, the prices are really affordable.

Great place with very friendly and attentive staff. Nice menu; we've had several things and all of them have been good. Solid wine and beer selection. We go here often - highly recommended
