The Living Farm Cafe and Inn

My wife and I just ate a terrific lunch at the Living Farm Cafe and Inn! My wife loved the variety of rooms for dining inside, and we sat in a room that had a nice, cozy feel. The windows looked out on the outdoor patio and trees (we will be trying the outdoor patio dining as the weather warms up later this year). We had a friendly hostess greet and seat us and also a friendly server wait on us. I had a fantastic tasting Kale salad and wonderfully flavorful Beetnik Sandwich (we were surprised that they found a way to make beets taste so good!) My wife had a gourmet salad with tender mesclun leaves, candied walnuts and apples. We had a pleasant experience and are excited to see another great option in Paonia to eat when we are there showing properties! We will be back in the future!!

I have been so impressed with the town of Paonia and The Living Farm Cafe is a gem in its crown. Everything we had was delicious and the service was impeccable. I had a burger and my friend had the short ribs and the next time I go, I will have a hard time not ordering one of the two of those again, but there were a number of items on the menu that I would have been happy with. We shared a brownie for dessert, which was warm and amazing.

The ambiance outside is lovely. The Vegan's Delight and the Gluten free Pancakes with yogurt topping were very good as well. Service was a little slow, but they had a rush while I was there. Highly recommend this restaurant because it utilizes real ingredients and has a lot of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.

Ate lunch outside with a party of four, and it all was excellent. I enjoyed the big chef salad full of fresh mixed greens, with a local chèvre that was the lightest goat cheese I’ve ever tasted. I can also recommend the bacon-wrapped dates and apple mimosa.

Fantastic - our waitress was one of the most polite, personable people I've ever had as a server. The menu was made to highlight all of Paonias amazing foods - I had french toast made with all local ingredients, and the fresh fruit sauce was too tasty!

Got to town late, they were open until 9p and sat us at 845. The wait staff were sweet and kind, the wine and beer, both local, were amazing, the food was awesome, all sourced locally. We almost had fresh frog legs because a local made it into the kitchen and their chef is French trained. It was the perfect in every way Paonia experience.

This place was amazing. The food was local and delicious, every bite was like I was tasting food for the first time. The wine was moderately priced. The inn was comfy and clean. The price for the inn includes a breakfast, which is not restricted to just a few items on the menu and includes coffee.

Organic food made from local sources. Delicious, fabulous service and the water is pure and refreshing !

The food comes from the farm and you can taste the living freshness. The local wine served is opulent and crisp. We also got some gorgeous wool socks! A lovely place for meeting and communing in a high vibe environment.

This restaurant provides delicious meals with an emphasis on local produce and organic meats. The setting is lovely, we enjoyed our meal outdoors on a quiet place to. The service was attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience

Food was amazing, I could taste the quality in the ingredients. We passed their farm early in the day which is close by town and where they source most of their ingredients. I would highly recommend a visit here for dinner or lunch!

Love this place. Great menu with fresh organic ingredients. Sit inside or out on patio like you're in a backyard of a house. Awesome service. One of the best restaurants in Paonia.

My daughter and I stayed at the Inn and it was really nice with air conditioning in this heat. The room was clean, the service was super, and we loved the garden patio. The food was also very good...love the farm to table.

We were there for an evening meal. The food was great, including the comp fresh bread, the service was wonderful, the staff friendly and the price reasonable. The atmosphere is casual, laid back and inviting. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing food in a relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Server was slow to bring the bill (usually the worst time to make someone wait) but I was so stuffed it didn't matter. Highly recomended!

Local farm to table. Every meal I've eaten has been excellent. For breakfast...loved the ravioli as well as the huevos rancheros. Lunch...the lamb enchiladas. Dinner the pork chops, the short ribs and the chicken confit were all delicious. The living farm is a must if your visiting Paonia!

Chef Owner Mike and his family grown or raise most items on the menu or locally source them! Not to be missed passing through. The only place in town that does breakfast, lunch and dinner! A few rooms in their inn upstairs as well.

Drove out from Montrose for an early lunch. I had the Gnocchi - - it was chock full of delicious fresh vegetables! My husband had the pork green chili burrito, and we both agreed that the green chili was spot on. We'll be back!
